My husband and I got married at the Grand Oaks on May 1, 2016 and it was absolutely an amazing ceremony from start to finish. Margaret was our event planner and just made everything a breeze. Jenny was my bridal attendant and there was not a thing I had to ask for. Emily and Andrew were also amazing. The whole team went above and beyond to make our day simply beautiful. The food was so delicious ! ALL OF IT WAS ACES.

Recently attended an awards luncheon at The Grand Oaks Country Club and it was wonderful. The venue is absolutely beautiful.We were in a room upstairs that had a gorgeous view of the golf course. The menu ,food and service were terrific,and we look forward to going back again. It was a very enjoyable experience and I will definitely recommend this venue to my family and friends.

I had both my ceremony and reception at Grand Oaks and I am so glad I did! Margaret was on top of every single detail during the planning and the day of. It rained on our wedding day, though we planned on having it by the gazebo, Betty and Margaret had a 2nd set up already in place, and it was beautiful. Leslie was our bridal attendant by request because she was absolutely amazing! We met her during our food tasting, her personality and hospitality won us over! The day of the wedding, she made sure we as well as my guests were well taken care of. She went above and beyond from beginning to end. Leslie was my right hand that day. She showed me around the room to make sure every detail was perfect. If I wanted to change something, she was on top of it. Both my husband and myself were thankful for her, she reassured us that our day will be the best day, and it truly was!

I just had my wedding at the Grand Oaks Country Club and it was amazing! The staff and food was great. Margaret was our wedding planner and turned out night into a dream come true! We couldn't have asked for anything more from our bridal attendant Jenny. She was so helpful all throughout the night! I would recommend this venue for any newly engaged couples looking for a place to get married. It was truly a night to remember!

Just had my daughters bridal shower (brunch) at the Grand Oaks and It was perfect! The room is beautiful, food was fantastic and I cannot say enough about the staff, they were the best!!!! Highly recommended.

staff were great however the food was terrible. imagine a waiter putting down your plate with a 2 inch piece of tasteless chicken with a 2 inch piece of talapia on top of your mashed potates!! the string beans were frozen and the bread was stale. Who mixes fish with chicken on the same plate?. Unbelievable. and all this for 75.00 on a Thursday night.

The place is good for the food and the views. The chicken is excelent and the fields/flowers are very nice to look at. Also the drink variety is quite acceptable. But the waitstaff is TERRIBLE. They dissappear when you need them, take forever when you ask for water or coffee, and they're rude. I placed my order for a particular meal and when the waitress brought out the wrong meal, she insisted i had ordered that even after people at my table had told her i was right. If you want good food yet dont mind terrible service, this place is for you.

I attended the New Years eve party last night and this was my first visit to the property and to be brief, food was soso cocktail hour wasnt very good .Dinner eh what can i say catering hall food..service soso the waitress never came to the table and introduced herself about 2 hours in she came over and asked if anyone wanted a drink , i had already been to the so called bar 3 times . The bartenders weren't very good they couldn't get my wife's Cosmo right .. for the money i paid I would not return .

This course was once my home course. The photo posted was from a few years ago. Like the other 2 staten island public golf courses, Its owned by the city Parks but manage by someone else. This is manage American Golf. Again, like the others, course could be better maintained. I understand that there is economics involved in maintaining a course but this course seem to be getting worst and worst. The lack of ongoing Improvement is indicative of an expiring contract. If that's the case, it's time to renew contract with another management. Slapping a name on the golf course does not make it a country club.

Beautiful place for a Communion, Wedding or Sweet 16! The staff was amazing, the food was good and the view was wonderful! My niece enjoyed her Communion very much!

Our wedding was PERFECT. The staff is amazing and flexible and perfect professionals. The power went out briefly and we moved the wedding up a couple of minutes because of the threat of a storm and I was never once nervous because I knew I was in good hands. Our guests never even knew there was an issue and partied all night long on the MASSIVE dance floor!

My husband and I got married here on the Saturday of Memorial weekend.. we planned our intimate wedding of 50 people in only 4 weeks! They worked with our budget and ALL our requests with nothing short of high class professionalism. The place is GORGEOUS, food AMAZING and staff WONDERFUL and ATTENTIVE! We had the BEST day ever and we owe a lot of it to the Grand Oaks for making it all possible. To say i would recommend it is an understatement.
