Rented clubs and the first time I hit a ball the club head broke. When I returned the club they charged me 35 dollars for it. I would not recommend renting from here at all. They give you garbage clubs and then charge you for them.

NMSU is not the Top choice in Dona ana county But its defiantly runner up I love it its my homeI play best here, not super difficult but still a good challenge, and ots has trees for shade and target reference , well kept and always tries staying stocked .they get it done fer sure

Through no fault of the golf course, we showed up a little late and the venue had changed. The big problem was the GPS did not take us to the golf course. So we went all the way around "A" mountain and turned around and came back and finally found the golf course. The trip on the other side of a mountain was worth it. So I think God was taking care of us. We needed to see that For Old Times Sake. Didn't get to enjoy the golf course. But we will go back it looked like it was in great condition.

Solid golf course overall and good carts but when I rate the 3 public courses in Cruces this is 3rd. Red Hawk and Sonoma are taking better care of the course and arent so wide open and slow. Still enjoy it because it is a solid place but just doesnt compare to the other 2..

Most Fairways are about to consistency of brick paving with a quarter inch of topsoil. They're hard to hit off. Greens are adequate most of the year. It's inexpensive which is why I like it.

NMSU Golf Course was a beautiful setting for a great game of golf with our son, an NMSU student. Everyone was friendly and helpful and even the other players were very patient with us "amateurs." Prices were surprisingly affordable and dinner with drinks afterwards was delicious. (Try the margaritas!) We'll definitely be looking forward to coming back to NMSU Golf Course again.

Long course, challenging for a beginner. Student discounts make for really affordable greens fees for students. Staff is good and the course is well maintained.

Great golf course with an affordable price. Careful there's lots of trouble, but the views are plentful. Food is good in the clubhouse. The pro shop has lots of good items.

This golf course is hands down the nicest in the valley that includes elpaso also. The course itself is very nice well thought out and has plenty of shade trees lining the fairways it's a can't miss course if you here in the area I'm from the Houston Texas area and travel A great deal I have played all over the US. And this NMSU. Course is one that I look forward to playing when I'm in EL Paso on business. The staff is helpful and friendly. Only drawback is the wait staff in the restaurant . They are a little slow on the uptake. They rather gab with each other then see who's in the restaurant waiting to order ..

Pretty nice course. My only complaint is that folks are listening to music kinda loudly from their cell phones. Tee boxes were in great shape. Fairways were awesome when I landed there. Haha. Greens weren't as good as I was expecting. Over all it was great course

Stopped to take advantage of the $1 off beers and $.60 wings, but they didn't take Google, Android, or Apple Pay. Then, the gentleman behind the bar wouldn't manually input the card number. I offered all the card information, plus a picture of my brother with his card. He told me, "Some other people would do it, but I can't." Which tells me, he could've served me, but chose not to. The second star is only because they have good deals, a good view, and....cold water. LoL Anyway, up to date technology at a University Gold Course?! At least have club affiliation for a charge account, y'all!
