This is 1 amazing municipal course. Challenging and fun. U won't loose too many balls cause it's wide open, but u better bring your putter cause the greens r tough. The green fees are super affordable for what u experience.

The course itself is a very good course, well maintained. I play it sometimes when I visit relatives in Roswell, which is normally two-three times a year. In recent years, the issue with this course has unfortunately been the "good ole boy" mickey mouse that goes on there. I have been held up by fivesomes and sixsomes on this course, and there is zero enforcement by golf course staff to require such groups to allow faster groups to play through. So, if you can deal with getting caught behind 5 or 6 locals and spending twice as much of your life on a golf course than is necessary, go right ahead. I find the NMMI course staff and those who play there much more courteous/considerate and most often I play there.

Pretty good little municipal course. Fairly wide open so losing balls isnt an issue. Challenging greens. Teeboxes were a bit furryi Not a bad option for the price. I'll be coming back to Roswell frequently and I will be bringing my sticks with me. Good job Roswell.

Spring river is the nicest course in the Chaves county area. Great greens, better than average fairways. Pace of play is good. And price for 18 with a cart is under $40

Last week I watched a player from my living room window unzip pull-out his "junk" and take a piss. The tree he was sorta hiding behind hid did not hide much but I was also using my Binoculars at this point! Definitely worth watching the Geese you just never know Bro!

Played it in December and the course was in decent shape for that time of year. Hard to really make a statement about condition when the grass is dormant. It is a very average layout, but fun. Good green complexes for a shortish course. The issue is the fact that most of the people playing there have no respect for the game's etiquette. I teed off behind two groups as a single. The man who took my fee, (very reasonable), assured me that both groups would allow a single walking to play through. Well the two groups became one group of six on hole number two. They did not allow me to play through even after I returned one of their 9-irons they left on the first green. Not to mention the unraked bunkers and sunflower seed husks left on the green. I will never play there again and recommend the other courses in town. Avoid this course.
