I played the executive course. The course is in decent shape for the winter. It was in great shape earlier in the year. If you only have a couple of hours to play this course works well. One part five ,one part four and some nice par threes. Shot 2 over yesterday which was a great round for me.

Played Ladera today, Memorial Day. Teed off about 2:00. Course was in great shape. Rough was manageable but fair. Greens fully healed from aeration. Pretty fast today, but rolled true. Very enjoyable round.

The course is good for a public course. It is very flat and not much landscape but I am from Florida so used to more lush landscape. The course is not very challenging but is good for a practice session. The greens had been aerated so were very rough. Overall, I had a good time playing here.

I cant believe the transformation. Course is in a great condition. Shows previous leadership should have been replaced long time ago. Just because you give golf lessons does not give you the right to run a course. Also food had improved not to mention a fantastic burger that smokes most restaurants. But please work on service at counter as this seems to be the same. One last thing, bathrooms go days before being cleaned. Cooks and staff use same facilities I imagine. Urinals are disgusting even though they were recently replaced. Other than that I enjoy my home course.

Overall a good experience. Waited for 2 days after a heavy rain so that the greens weren't like ice. Greens overall were pretty good - much better than expected. Was able to spin the ball a bit which was nice. Did the 9 hole executive course, and thought it was great. My only gripe was that there are some dirt/gravel patches where there should be 2nd cut on a few holes. Recommend long as it's not during a long hot and dry period.

This is a very good course and arroyo even better. I travel and did not ship my clubs. Arroyo is better but the rental clubs are poor but ladera you are using the onsight pros used clubs. Awesome.

This golf course is one of my favorites in Albuquerque! Very well maintain, very nice looking course! The staff I've dealt with have been professional and courteous. The prices are very reasonable! Nice mix of easy to challenging holes, the front 9 is really fun to play! The snack bar has a good variety and the workers are just nice people!

This course was junk a few years ago. I love playing there now. I'd give it 5 Stars, but there are still several greens with dirt patches. The exec course is great also. Staff is always friendly.

A lot better condition than it was a few years ago. There were a lot of bare spots on the fairways and mole holes but it seems a lot of work has gone into the course since. We stopped playing Ladera due to these conditions but now were back. Nice practice area. I'm back for a second review. Played Ladera today 06/27/18 and the course is in great shape especially considering the drought we are experiencing here. Glad to be back playing this course. Great job to the employees who have returned this to a respectable course.

Decent price but the condition of the course leaves you feeling neither impressed or ripped off--it's ok but nothing memorable. Some of the holes are fantastically laid out while others are hard pan sand anywhere off the fairway

A few years ago, this course was in sad shape. The new management has turned it around, however--the fairways are green and tight, the greens are fast and true, and head pro Bill Harvey will get you swinging right in no time. Totally worth the drive.

Love the layout! In my opinion one of the best of the city courses. There has been damage to the fairways by some moles, but seem to have it under control now. Staff always friendly and helpful, and their head pro Bill is one of the best instructors around. Only problem is all the geese that arrive for winter.

What a great place to have a wedding! I've been a professional mobile DJ (PartyTime DJ) for the last 21 years here in Albuquerque and northern New Mexico and I finally had the pleasure of playing music at this venue, and I was not disappointed at all. This is a hidden gem on the westside and the staff is one of the most professional I've ever seen. I highly recommend Ladera Golf Course for weddings (ceremony and reception) and private events!

$20 to walk. Great views of the petroglyphs and 3 volcanoes. Friendly staff and great grounds crew. I feel like I never see them and the conditions are always amazing (for $20), so I assume they're like little elves working when you're not looking. In others words, I've never had to wait to hit my next shot while the guy mowing moves out of the way... I almost don't like giving this course a good review because it's always so wide open. But it's tucked away on the west side, so the "traffic/long drive" keep most away. But even on the busy days, the staff knows how to start and marshal the field to keep it on pace. Which is honestly what more clubs need to learn. All of the Albuquerque public courses seem to do this. Even on weekends they play 4.5 hours or less.

I love Ladera. Been going there since the 80s. Best layout of city courses, no doubt. But zero attention from marshalls, and pins tucked and on slopes on the weekend. There's just no reason for it. It was a horrible experience. Took over five hours, and there were 4 groups on a hole. Management and who ever was placing holes need to get it together.

For my money, Bill Harvey is the best teacher and club pro in the ABQ area. He really makes you believe in your athleticism, is very patient, and always finds a way to teach you in the most positive way possible. He's also done great things with Ladera Golf Course over the past few years. It's now one of the most enjoyable munis in the area. The pace of play is awesome. The 18 hole course is challenging and unlike any course in the area. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! Btw, the food at the grill is awesome.
