I had nine players on July 16. I specifically asked Shane if I could have another tee time or should we go 5/4 and he said he would approve 5/4. When we got there thefront desk hassled us bout nine players. Then we found out that both therange, putting and chipping were closed. We gathered at the base of the hill to wait out tee times as we had arrived early to practice and could not. Somebody starting yelling at us across the open area about us standing around and even though none of us was hitting, just swinging clubs to loosen up, some other guy came over and started telling us about the kids program and how they did not want us hitting them. We were about 150 yds from anybody, with a building between us and the kids. Then somebody else came over and threathened to call security even though we had yet to do anything but show up and pay and then begin to wait.
Then when we played the course was in terrible shape with the greens dead, and in some cases just sand. They were not sanded, just sand.
We play various courses in the Albuquerque area and it will be a long time before we come back. Customer service was non-existent, and people had an attitude and no one ever volunteered the fact the course was semi-closed and in bad condition. I do not and will not recommend this course to anyone. The same goes for our group that has about 18 regular players.
