Played this course in June and could tell that it has really gone down from a year ago. To me it wasn’t worth the $125.00 green fee. And this was the week day fee. They didn’t offer any senior deals at all. Next year I will travel to Albuquerque and play Paako Ridge, which has had a great track record since they opened in 2000. Price and course are much better.

This place isn't cheap.. but it shouldn't be. It's a AAA course with a super challenging lay out.. be prepared to shoot above your handicap.. eat at the restaurant on the way out they had a proper chef create the menu... The flat bread appetizer is a treat, the Angus burger was cooked to perfection..

Incredible golf course! Had an awesome time over a couple of days in the Ruidoso area. Rainmakers was certainly the highlight of the trip. Great condition, great layout, and friendly for a variety of golfers.

Championship golf paired with great food and ambiance. I may be a bit biased in my opinion as a member to this fine country club myself but there's nothing bad I can say about this place. Also check out the exciting new plans for growth of the resort in the near future. Keep it up Rainmakers Country Club and Resort in Alto, Nm.

The food is always great, the bartenders are talented mixologists, and the view is wonderful. Note that the restaurant will revert to "members only" before summer 2019 so don't miss your chance to enjoy a fabulous meal there while you still can!

Hard course for me. BEAUTIFUL course. Didn't understand why paying $100 dollars we couldn't use driven range .They said only members could use it.

Awesome golf experience! Definitely a challenge but absolutely gorgeous and worth the trip! Probably better suited for intermediate to advanced golfers. Staff was extremely respectful, accommodating, friendly and helpful.

As most of the reviews have said this is a beautiful course but almost unplayable. We paid $315 played for 2 hours and it started to rain. We asked for a rain check and they said they don’t do rain checks. We were considering being members since we recently bought a place in Rainmakers. They lost a potential member and we will make sure everyone knows how poorly we were treated. They say this is Resort Living Elevated well it’s really Treat People Poorly Elevated. No wonder we only see a few people playing the course daily.

This is a beautiful, well managed golf course. Truly a remarkable mountain course with breathtaking views. Unfortunately the members, Vince Gilbert to be specific, ruin the experience for visiting members from other clubs. I have never met a golfer, member or not, be as confrontational, disrespectful and unprofessional. After notifying the club and asking them to call me to discuss, the comment was made he is a "known commodity" and this has happened before. No call and If I had to guess, nothing was done.
