Courses are great. The staff including the rudest starter in somerset County Golf ,Pete, should all be dismissed. I joined the registration there played once with my family, was treated soo rude, I'll never go back to that hell hole in spookybrook.

Nice course in very good condition. The holes were cut in about the toughest parts of the greens which I found odd, given that we played on a busy Sunday, but hey, gotta blame something, right? It is pretty forgiving off the tees, but it's not a "short" course. Friendly guy in the pro shop, friendly starter. I'd play it again. 2 more things...what the card has listed as the #14 handicap hole has got to be one of the hardest par 4's around! And, my Google maps GPS had me turn into the adjacent park from which you can't get to the course. The entrance is off Elizabeth Ave.

Was on my way to a career low of probably 84 but messed up on the 17th with a 5....my gap wedge can still be seen standing up in the pond....lol Very nice course....friendly staff

Longish for a county golf course. Mostly flat and wide open. Large practice green.

The course remains superbly maintained late in September. Staff is very helpful and the starter got me out ahead of my tee time booked via Golfnow. It was a quiet Sunday round with temperature above 90 degrees. Totally enjoyed the beautiful fairways and wide-open space.

Another county course in Somerset. Compared to the other Somerset courses, this one is Much easier to walk. Flatter terrain, no hills, easy to walk. $54 to walk, $73 to ride. Beats all of the staten island golf courses. Only 30 minutes from home. Will get the county card this season for sure.

Nice place. Better than expected. Fairways in excellent condition. Just be care in sand trap for sone reason they leave their rakes in the sand trap. 1st tine I ever seen that.

I'm giving four stars based on it being a county course and on the course itself. I did not even go into the pro shop or restaurant so I have no opinion in that regard. The course itself was in great shape compared to some other courses I've played recently. We have had a tremendously wet season and most public courses have paid the price with torn up fairways, barren tee boxes and spotty greens. Spooky Brook seems to have come out unscathed and is in great shape. Most impressive to me were the greens. They were true and consistent throughout the course.
