West course is in nice shape, place has changed a lot. The club house is inviting, you can eat and even throw those important family parties there as well. The west course played nice. Greens are good , didn't see any holes or patches. With the recent rain its lush.

One of the better public courses out there. East and west course both interesting layouts. Both play about 5800 yards from white tees. One of the better driving ranges in the area. Located right next to the 1st tee on west course. Good way to hit a quick bucket before you play. Staff are good as well.

Local course with local attitude. One of the guys in the pro shop needs serious attitude change. 3 hrs for 9 holes and no ranger to control. Won't be back again.

Marty has got the place going great. Those nasty , rude, retired county workers who thought they owned the place are all gone. To hell with them especially all from Hawthorne and the nasty bitchy woman who worked there. Its a nice, friendly place now and in good shape

The course had major renovations and it is now a top-notch public course. Even the staff are way better and pace of play has improved as well with rangers hwlping out.

Some short par 4 holes, with doglegs though, which make them more of a challenge. Only a couple par 5 I think, which are reachable in 2. One them had the tee pushed way up, so felt more like a par 4. The conditions were super nice - tee to green. We played a Sat morning so was very congested to start then pace sped up after 4 holes. Nice course!

Played the East course and had a great round. Course conditions are very good for a public course, price is reasonable. Wasn't that busy and the play flowed pretty well. Some of the rough is really hairy and you might have to be a few yards off the fairway or green before it turns to 2 ft high impenetrable grass. We spent a lot of time searching and finding balls in the long grass so they could mow a bit more agressively. Pro shop is in the process of being moved to a little outbuilding and it was pretty disorganized, guy gave us the keys to a shed instead of the golf cart, no tees for sale, no club hire etc. Lacking some signs to places as well, we took awhile to find the first tee on East course. But thoroughly enjoyable round, some hills, some water, some sand. Good course.

This place is amazing! Course is in great shape! I wanna thank the staff for accommodating the US Kids Tournament yesterday! Hats off to Larry! I needed to find my son who is in the tournament and instead of just showing me how to get to the 14th hole, he actually took me there! I was giving him a small tip but he refused and told my other son to keep it and buy golf balls with it. Such kindness makes this world a better place!
