REVIEWS OF Pinelands Golf Course IN New Jersey

Earl Cousins

Overpriced. Might be the worst bar in south jersey. OK layout, greens are bumpy and slow fairways are cut too long.

John Farren

I frequently play there, the course is in very good condition an is 300% better than it was 25 years ago. Excellent place to sharpen your game. Needs to be over seeded but I really like it.

Tim Butler

I play here in a Tuesday men's league and for the shape of the course the price isn't bad. The last round the greens were a little slow I thought, but in amazing shape. Very well kept golf course. It's very narrow and a lot of trees, so if you have a bad slice you will have a tough time. The only other thing worth mentioning is that there is a gun range nearby so you will constantly hear gun shots half way though the front nine

Wonderful course, and beautiful greens. Had a great time

What a pleasant surprise this course. Was to play at today. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Only $36 to play. What a great bargain. If you don't play here at least once this season, you are missing a great golf course to play.

Great course!

course is in great shape. but it drives us crazy that they use rocks,,,large rocks and quarry rock in the sand traps...nobody actually plays out of them, I'm sure but don't they get complaints?

Jo Ze

Fairways cut too long, but still a fun course to play.

I really enjoy playing this golf course, but agree conditions can be a bit subpar at times. It's a tough little layout, and as with all heavily wooded courses you might find yourself spending too much time looking for lost balls, so get out the three wood. The 6th hole, par 5, played at its full length (581) is possibly the most difficult par 5 in South Jersey, including even the 15th at Pine Valley. The 9th and the 17th are reachable par 5s, why do I keep making 7s? The 18th is a great finishing hole and there are lots of tricky par fours along the way, like 13 with its blind shot into the green. They have a nice driving range which a lot of public and even some private courses don't offer, and the rangeballs are pretty decent, they find so many in the woods that are practically new. And, the staff are friendly. You have to make your shots at Pinelands, and I feel the course has come around nicely lately. Playing out of bare patches is just golf, make the shot, stop whining, and take the opportunity to show what you're made of. As a golfer.

Didn't play well today but the course is always fun

Nice local course, as the conditions are finally starting to improve. A little pricey on the weekends, but every course in the area has a gone up in price over the past several years.

Pedro Colon

Ok course..needs more upkeep!

Nick Collins

Love this course. Challenging but very nice! Peanut Butter and Jellys could be better :)

Harry Mulholland

IF YOU DON'T STAY IN THE MIDDLE,IT PLAYS ON THE HARD SIDE.TIGHT FAIRWAYS,MANY MANY TREES.SAND TRAPS COULD BE MUCH BETTER,BUT GREENS ARE A-PLUSH. THE STAFF ARE THERE TO ASSIST YOU AND THEY DO A GREAT JOB. COME DOWN AND HAVE A DAY OF FUN.

kelly almasy

Friendly staff. Course is in great shape. Super reasonable.

Gloria Campos

Horrible place to work for. The employers are liars and bring you in knowing you'll waste your time.

Quentin Nolan

A part from the play, it's nice place for a leisurely walk.

Mike Thompson

Matt McCarthy

Course is in great shape.

Curtis Hill

Not a bad place but no fairways, rocks in sand pit, no tee box, grounds maintained well but it's all crab grass even when you hit a fairway shot your playing of crab grass. Yardage is of ok most of the holes150 paid like 130. It's a great place for beginners and if you want to work on your irons. No true lies to hot hybrids or woods. Great staff and clubhouse

Doug Schindler

Horse is very well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Walking is not permitted carts only.

Course in remarkable condition for this time of year, Nice staff.

Harry Gibson

I my opinion, the fellow behind the counter was and is extremely rude and unprofessional. The fellow who called himself Ernie is a liar and a cheat. If you have 5-6 hours to spend playing 18 holes behind a group of 6 players.( one with a cast on his foot) than this is your place. They were well aware of this situation and felt uncomfortable confronting the group of six explaining the guy with the cast would only hit a few balls here and there. I could not believe my ears. Then they offered to give us another round for another day. We excepted, but when it came time to play again, they claim they BOTH claim they did not recall that day or arrangement. UNBELIEVABLE!!! None of my friends, colleagues, employees or I will ever play here again. Good luck to those of you who do. It's no wonder they only have a 2.5 star rating.

Eric DiFebbo

You'd be better off going some place else.

Jim Farrow

Grounds are very well kept. Course is challenging.

James Reid
