Membership is priceless. Played as a guest a few times. Staff is attentive. Greens are tricky. Each hole has amazing views, and challenges even the best handicaps. The Transfusion is house cocktail on and off the course. With four 9-hole courses, there is never an extended wait, and 18 hole round can be finished under 3.5 hours.

Always a great course. 36 holes at Montclair Golf Club and another 18 at MGC at Rock Springs. The 36 holes are great because it is 4 nines which you can pay in any order. There are no tee times, except maybe weekend morning before 1pm. The course is in the best shape I've ever seen it. They've taken down a lot of trees which definitely changes the feel at times but it has made for some nice views of the course. A few years ago maybe you could just see the hole next to you, but now you can see much farther, however the course being in such great condition it makes for a great sight.

Beautiful and challenging course, every nine course is uniquely designed by the greatest architect minds. Incredible greens and impecible fairways. There, I held a golf club for the very first time and a set was given to me by a member who barely knew me. I learned to play and love the game on this fine course. As a random walk in, they allowed me to caddy there in the 4 summers as a college student- an immigrant student, unknown, homeless, saving every penny to pay for school. My junior year (and senior), returning to college to pay for tuition with the random bills and change I had earned/saved, I was stunned that members at Montclair GC awarded me a generous scholarship. Didn’t think members would remember my face nor my name, let alone which school I attended. Members must have investigated, reached out and gave generously. They cared for a stranger and that speaks volume, what a fine establishment and group of members. I’m forever grateful.

Nice facility but poorly managed by the Board of Directors. Some of the members and staff also seem to have a snobbish attitude which makes it difficult to enjoy a round of golf or dinner at times.

Sensational golfing set up: four nine hole courses to play. Some really great golf holes. Tough greens! Lovely setting, very nice Clubhouse and terrific staff. Food is good. Got a decent range, pool and tennis too.
