THIS REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT THE GOLF COURSE ITSELF. Went for a quick drive around the area Sunday, just before dusk. The golf course is surrounded by housing developments. Advertised as Luxury Single family homes... they are packed side to side & back to back with no pools, decks or backyards, few fences. Homes are close enough to easily watch & hear your neighbors TV. I don't know how its possible to live there & not have your home or car window broken by a golf ball. I wonder if people who live in the community are entitled to any kind of free access or discount of the golf grounds or amenities? Place looked clean, but rabbits & deer were ample.

Nice golf course. Prices are a little steep, but the course is well maintained and challenging. The course is often narrow with a lot of water hazards, so if you are not a scratch golfer, it is a good idea to bring some extra balls.

If you like golf, you will love this quaint well priced course, Head Pro Lou Kabisa and Assistant Kevin and Staff, represent Applied Golf impeccably. The grill is a great place to throw a few down and Eat! And Jason in Banquets does a great job with corporate events, sweet 16 parties, baby Showers, weddings, any party and the catering is awesome! We had a great experience hosting a bridal shower at the Knob Hill Golf Club! The team was extremely helpful in the planning, set-up, and execution of our special day! Guests were very impressed by the room, the food, and the helpful staff. We highly recommend them for your next occasion...you will be in very good hands! Awesome course and is not very far away. Greens were in great shape as were the fairways. Challenging but enjoyable for the average golfer. Will Def be back here when its not so hot out.

Recently visited NJ with my husband and sent him out for what was supposed to be a nice day of golfing. When he came home and told me about his experience at Knob Hill I was embarrassed and annoyed that he had such a bad Day on our vacation. He scheduled a tee time for 7:35 A.M. and was paired up with a group of 3 who had never played before. My Husband being an avid golfer asked the guy to allow him to play alone as he would have been able to move quickly through the course. After that was denied he suggested not having them go before several two soms as he knew the group would be slow. That also was denied. They ended up having to let 5 groups pass them and my husband ended up being the “caddy” to his own group of non experienced golfers as they didn’t know what they were doing. Then halfway through the Marshal came over and asked them to “speed it up” as if there was an option to go faster with his group of non experienced golfers. My husband would never post a review which is why I am doing it for him. He said he would never play this course again due to their poor pairings and service. There was no empathy at all and his 18 holes ended up taking almost 5 hours.

The venue is a beautiful golf course. Departing it at night is a horror. It is set behind a mass of "townhouses" on deadends and cull de sacs going no where.The lighting is poor to non existing.There are no signs to directing you out to a main road.Navigation systems get confused.After a night of partying the last thing you want is to be frustrated going home

Terrific golf course in great shape. Fun, interesting holes and it was a fair test for first time playing this course. GPS on carts a big help. The clubhouse and restaurant look really nice too. The whole place gave me a feeling of a Floridian community country club with its pool and tennis. Just a great experience overall with friendly staff. It was very hot yesterday but there was plenty of ice cold water in the coolers and the beverage cart past by probably 6 times too. This course I'll put on my list of "I'll be back".

My women's organization had it's annual membership dinner there. Very pretty room with a balcony area for outdoor seating. The food was very good. It was warm even though it was served buffet style. Bar in the room available for drinks. Lots of parking.

Not too tough for the average golfer, fairly easy for the strong player. Course is in good shape. Carts have GPS so knowing distance is simple. Good restaurant and bar.

This place is crazy fancy. Its in a nice area with a really good banquet hall overlooking the club. At the private event I was attending the bartender had a horrible attitude and seemed suspicious. The actual club is very nice but the service wasnt up to par.

Great course, rates. The restaurant is excellent. They have a very nice variety of food. Staff is friendly, and the food cart outside at the 10th hole is a big plus.

Great Course with some well designed challenging holes. Especially the par 3s. Restaurant/ bar is nice. The bartender needs some training in hospitality. However, Nicole who waited on us at the table was a class act. She seems to enjoy her job. Nicole would be good role model to the bartender.

We showed up early for our tee time and there was not anyone on the course. There were two groups ahead of us who weren't even there yet and in fact they were late for their tee times. We asked if we could go early so we wouldn't be on top of eachother but the pro is a moron who would prefer to hold up play rather than to allow smooth play of the golf course. Turns out the group we had to wait for were friends with the pro which the starter said he couldn't put us out before them because of their special relationship with the pro. At this point this "special" group was not even there yet and there was no one on the tee box. We tried to talk to the guys inside at the desk but we still couldn't go out. We proceeded to wait 45 additional minutes on the putting green while we stared at an empty tee box. (you cant make this stuff up) We finally teed off behind this 4some. Needless to say there were 3 and then 4 groups (another group behind us) bottlenecked on an otherwise open course. The pro's "special" group held everyone up and thankfully they eventually let us play through. Typical bureaucracy who are unable to bend or think outside the box. Never again. PS as of 6/20/18 the greens are in terrible shape RESOONSE TO OWNER : If these "facts" were true about the tee being closed why wouldn't any member of your staff say so? the starter would surely have known this, no? This is a lie your pro fabricated to cover the fact that he was catering to the special group and screwing the Golf Now Hot Deal clients ... When no logical explanation is given as to why we had to stare at an empty tee box for 45 minutes, then you're going to have 4 upset golfers. I now see that the additude of the staff mirrors that of the ownership. I also see that your Golf Now clients are looked down as unimportant because they didn't pay full price, I'm sure Golf Now will be interested in hearing that.

Beautiful golf course. Challenging for all different types of players. Greens roll true, tee boxes are well taken care of, fairways are well defined but can be tight. Staff is friendly, drink/snack cart comes along often. Overall a great course.

We had my daughters Bat Mitzvah at Knob Hill last week. We were so happy with the way the event turned out. The venue was just renovated with hardwood floor and it made a huge difference in the vibe of the room. The food was also excellent and the staff did a great job, especially Jason who helped us organize and plan the whole event

The course is always in great shape and they take good care of you. Edit - removing one star for the condition the course was in during my most recent round. Looks like the course was neglected over the summer - tee boxes and greens in rough shape.

Such a fun course to play. The course design is challenging but rewarding. There is a decent amount of elevation change on this course- with the 1st, 10th starting at the top of the hill, and of course 18 finishing up the hill. All in all worth playing again and again. They do have electric carts and GPS screens fitted as well!

Our group of 14 arrived 45 mins prior to our 11:a.m. tee time on Tuesday morning...The staff was extremely helpful and very accommodating. Check in was smooth and the prices were fair for our group of seniors. Our handicaps range from 5 to 22, we draw cards for teams. The lower handicap guys played the white tees, the higher guys played the gold... our lowest score was 70 our highest was 98..We all agreed that the course was in excellent condition tee thru green..The pace of play was also good...We stayed for dinner in the grill, the food and the wait staff were all 1st class..Thanks for a great day of golf and camaraderie ..Ed Bowman
