Paid for 18 holes but had to leave after 9. They wouldn’t give us a Rain check or a refund. The staff is very unprofessional and rude. It had rained 2 days prior and the course wa still soaked and bunkers with puddles in them. Golfers beware, not worth it!

Daniel Recine

Nice small course, no par 5’s makes it a quick round of golf. Tight course and need to hit the ball straight. The fairways and greens were in good shape. Negative: There was a Wasp nest in the ball cleaner on the 11th tee box, that ended up with me getting stung in the knee by one. I told the ranger but he did not respond all that urgently about it.

Mike Kilkenny

Lakewood is about the same price, people that work there will be annoying you the whole round getting into your buisness. Poorly kept and poorly managed

This is the place to go for some good golf. Yea, its no championship caliber course but for the $9 a round I pay being a resident, its totally worth my time. The staff is awesome and are very friendly, I would know being I play there 3-4 times a week. If you want to become a better irons player you come to this golf course! In the late afternoon is the best time to go usually. I arrive around closing, after work during the week, and I can get all 18 holes in with minutes to spare.

Robert Gillin

Nice golf course. Fairways and greens in very good shape. Don't let the yardage fool you. Tight fairways and undulating greens make for an interesting challenge. Pace of play is fast. Play 18 in about 3 hours.

Wendi Higgins

A good executive course. A great place to spend a day.

I went recently on a Sunday afternoon, what a disappointment. Went inside to pay, was charged 36$ and i was walking. I dont have an ocean county card. I assume thats why it was the price of playing Lakewood C.C..oh well. Not a huge deal. Then after i paid, i was told that the course was having problems. A water pipe of some kind had broke and holes 3,4,5,6,and 7 were under 4ft. Of water. Ok so now what ? Oh your gonna want to play 18 today ? Uh yes, that was the plan. Well your gonna have to play holes 1,2,8,9, a 2nd tkme then. Ok , so theres no discount for not being able to play the full course. ? The men behind the counter looked at me as if i was crazy. The gentleman who worked outside were very polite , nice guys. But i will no longer be going to this nice little, well maintained course. Last time i played here , was told i needed to leave ,go to an ATM machine if i wanted to play. There charge card machine was not working. This time i played it took well over 3hrs. To play, back 9 was backed up about 2 groups per hole. + i only played the front 4 available holes once.

For an executive course (par 60, under 3700yd) this is a tough course. The woods-lined holes are rather tight; you have to keep it straight. And there are two par-threes over 200yd, even from the whites. (BTW, the blues were not open the day we played; look at the whites for the maximum you are likely to see on normal days.) The wetlands and water hazards are in play but only one [short] forced carry; keep it straight and you can keep it dry. Maintenance and course conditions are mixed. The greens were very slow and bumpy, worst I've played all year. The bunkers had very good sand in them, but the weekend crowd obviously never figured out what a rake is. This is a good argument for the "rake and place" rule used in some leagues. Due to the Saturday crowd, the starter had us play the back nine first. Although that gives a more difficult first tee shot of the round, I like the finish better that way. The eighth hole is beautiful, and a challenge for a relatively short par-3. The ninth hole is also lovely, and the most wide-open driver hole of the par-fours -- a much better finishing hole than #18. Reasonable fees, even for out-of-county. On balance, I'd definitely play there again.

It's a good golf course with friendly staff, lovely water features, and a plethora of bunnies and groundhogs. I'm sure local country clubs are a little more "upscale" as compared to here, but for a county course it's worth a visit. The only thing that severely needs updating is the bathrooms. There's a few bathroom outposts along the course however its a straight up outhouse. No plumbing what-so-ever. Even some hand sanitizer would be nice, but no. Bring wet wipes.

Great little par 60. Narrow fairways, challenging golf.

Nice course to play. Best to have your short game on. looks easy but not so easy. Like it.

Gene Lee

Tight and tough executive golf course.

Rian Gobel

Would be nice if they had rangers to monitor the jerks that cut in front on you

Jim Sheldon

The course is a very good executive course. It is well-maintained, and the staff is always helpful and friendly. It has narrow freeways, sand traps and lots of water and bushes, so you have to shoot straight. Green fees are very reasonable, especially if you are a resident of Brick.

jfh37813

A good little courss. Reasonable fee.

IAN ALAN BRENNER

Great course at Senior pricing.

Matt Martinko

Rob Oakley

Nice little par 60 course (3’s and 4’s only) - challenging off the tee with a few narrow fairway par 4s. They are constantly working on the course so fairways are pretty legit. Sand traps are deep and difficult and greens are well kept. For the price you can’t beat it!

Ira Hochman

Carmen Kemper

Colin Testa

Bill Schaedel

For the price, a great deal. Busy early because of leagues. Maintain ok

Logan Dingus

Good golf course for the money.

Santiago Gomez

Doris Weintz

Nice golf course but the greens are rough. Had a good round anyway!!

Mark Mazzella

Track was in good condition. Nice place for a quicker round.

Michele F

This course is great for a fast paced round or for beginners

Rey Cruz

The staff that checked us in and brought us our carts were very helpful and friendly. The course wasn't in the best condition as some of the tee boxes and fairways were a little chewed up and soggy from the rain. The greens were overall in decent shape all things considered. Because of the weather we were the only group on the course which made pace of play great. For the price you can't really get much better and if I lived closer I would definitely make this one of my regular courses. If you're looking to get a round of golf in for a good price and are pressed for time this is a good option.

Guy Burns

Very nice service, freindly people, coarse well maintained! Definitely go again!

I enjoyed a well organized charity event for a friend who passed away. It was very successful and the course was very good at accommodating a tribute to him at some of the holes. RIP GB

Don Parseghian

Ocean County's Par 60 golf course. My first time there, difficult to say much, as it was cart path only, but should have been closed, due sitting water on much of the course. We stopped after 9 holes.

Derek Nahrwold

Such a great course. The people there are so nice. Considering it's a par 60, it's worth the money and it's my go-to place if I want a local round of golf. Greens may be a bit bumpy, but is very good and has some challenges along the 18 holes. The staff are welcoming and helpful.

Robert Forst

Great little executive course. About 6 holes you can drive, and it's a par 60. Price is really reasonable, strongly recommend trying out.

Robert Blyth

Executive . Narrow fairways, plenty of places to lose your golf balls.

Lou Castro

Amyy maddenq

Lee Bruzaitis

Great little course. Well kept. Par 3 and 4 holes but challenging due to the narrow fairways. Cant beat the price, especially the $9 after 3PM special for county cardholders.

Frank T

Brandon Moore

Excellent course to help straighten out your iron shots, not a lot of holes meant for the boom stick. I liked the calculated approaches that i had to take.
