John and his staff at the River Rock Cafe always give us a warm reception when we meet here for breakfast once a month. We never feel rushed even though we spend over two hours here chatting over our meal. The food is always tasty and the prices are reasonable.

I only went to the driving range, but from the looks of it the holes and greens looked in very good condition. The range ball prices are among the cheapest around. 8.00 for 75 and 4 or 5 for 45 balls.

This is a BEAUTIFUL country setting golf course in the poetry capital of New Hampshire. The club house is a marvelous place to hold any kind of function. The gentleman that works in the proshop...Gerry...is awesome! You can even rent clubs there for $15....⛳

The restaurant on the course has incredibly good food. I had the bleu cheese and steak salad, it was scrumptious. They even made my steak blue rare, which I appreciated! (That's super duper rare, and a request that is regularly gotten wrong, or overcooked.) Great for lunch or an outing. I hear the golf is great too.

This is a challenging, although very straight forward track. The front 9 offers a good variety of hole layout, while the back 9 has some fun risk/reward shots. The covered 2 story driving range is narrow, but a good place to warm up and the putting green next to the first tee gives a solid feel as to how the greens are rolling that day. They do not have a separate chipping green. The course can get squishy during the winter months, but the price to play becomes steep during the summer.

Great little golf course that's very well maintained and kept in great shape by the staff. Great deals on equipment and clothes in the pro shop. A couple great caddies who know the course very well. Most of the members are great people who are very passionate and love the game of golf! Would give 5 Stars just needs a bigger driving range. Also best known for their great food inside.

Maplewood is one of those neighborhood golf courses that has outstanding service and conditions for being a public course. Its easy on the feet and game. The course can get a bit busy so a reservation is suggested. You'll find soft undulations throughout the course with some holes with playable water. My favorites holes include the par 3, 6th hole over water and the finishing 18, a short drivable par 4.

Solid little Golf Course for a public course has great twilight rates not super hard but still a little challenging has a few holes that are really fun to play with elevated T boxes definitely has a lot of slope I prefer the front nine but the back nine is beautiful as well. Has a driving range not very long but double decker and a decent practice cutting grain. Pro Shop is very minimal but the course is well maintained and the restaurant has great food. You can text your food order in and have it delivered to you while playing or you can pick it up on the turn solid little public course

One of the best municipal courses in Puget Sound area. Double deck driving range is lighted at night. Nice putting green for practice. Pro Shop is professional and the staff is the best. Make time for the River Rock restaurant--great food and you won't be disappointed. Great golf course with great prices.

Great facility for functions. Large space, excellent staff. Set in the White Mountains, beautiful views all around. While I don't have direct experience (our function was in the winter) the golf course looks amazing. I hope to try it someday. The most amazing thing about the place if the Stone work of the buildings.

Was reminded that this track run by the city is not bad at all. A bit of diversity for the relatively low green fees explains why it's typically all booked. Just tried to book a tee time today and couldn't get one. Nice driving range as well, even tho you can't hit off natural grass like WA Nat'l or on the back end of some courses nearby. Neverthless, it's very modern and has two decks to deal with the larger crowds at times.

Great little gem for a round of golf. Best to start before 10am if possible during the week... when the days are hot. Rentals are available in pro shop if necessary. It can get crowded, but as long as players are patient it will move along fine.

#golf #buckets So far so good. I've only really hit the range here, and it gets the job done. It could be prettier, and it could be fancied up. But, I'm here to hit golf balls and it's close to home. 75 balls for $9 seems reasonable, and if you get a range card ahead of time they give you some extra credit. I'll try to update my review when I actually play the course sometime this summer.

Every year we rent meeting room in November to present and discuss our marketing budget with our group business owners. We find this location is easy to get to with ample parking. The meeting rooms are comfortable with modern amenities. Recommend this place for causal and formal events.

I was driving down Maple Valley Highway at 11:20 on Easter Sunday and my car was hit by a golf ball. The guy in the pro shop was of no help and told me that there were nets to keep the cars from getting hit. This was a lie. The east end if the golf course near the baseball fields have limited nets and the nets in place have trees behind them. I will be filing a report with the Washington State Highway Patrol about the negligence for vehical safety along Maple Valley Highway by Maplewood Golf Course.

Great restaurant, with outdoor patio seating, lounge, and plenty of indoor seating as well. Food is excellent. Try the broiled shrimp and grits--delish! And don't forget the incredible carrot cake for dessert. Oh yeah, can't forget to mention the wait staff; they take very good care of their customers. This is a wonderful place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable for what you get. There were no unhappy people at my table! We all loved it and will go back again.

18 hole golf round on Sunday took 5.5 hours. Never saw a marshall out the whole time. Watched group a few in front of us take 20+ practice shots each on the tee box and left a few wholes open in front which explains the very slow play. No chipping practice area here. Fairways were in decent summer shape as they do water them. Greens were in good shape.
