Now blacklisted by our circle if friends: Repeated rude comments and unprofessional treatment by "the owner" and we don't need to go into details on the straw that broke the camel's back today involving one of family members.. nauseating situation especially after supporting their business for years in a terrible location with amateur maintenance. Plenty of quality golf in the area with owners that appreciate your patronage. Onward and upward.

Best 9 hole golf course I have ever played. In fact better than most 18 hole courses. I love the family style welcome I receive each time I play. It's a great challenge, but not too hard. I specifically love the view from the 6th green and 7th tee. If you haven't given this place a try it's well worth the rate (which is also cheaper than any course in the area.) The bar and grille has some of the best food. The staff is fun and welcoming. Keep up the great work Den Brae. P.S. your pro shop is very well stocked with both up to date and reasonably priced equipment!

Members are rude and indicate paying customers should play on their home course or play in the afternoon when members are done. Apparently the Ranger believes this should be as well. He was rude and disrespectful. Been golfing 40 plus years and have never had an issue on a golf course. Saturday myself and 3 other golfers were thrown off because some members thought they were more important than paying customers. We were playing at a rate of 9 holes within 2 hours apparently that wasn't fast enough. Our scorecard was all 3,4,and 5's. Worst experience ever!! Ranger made it clear just let them play through. We waited 10 minutes for them to get to the tee. We then proceeded to play the 7th hole in less than 6 minutes. This is a public course but apparently you are only welcome during certain times of the day.

Booked on golf now last minute didn't indicate that it was a 9 hole course and the deal was for 18 holes. So I got to play 9 twice SMH. So I show up check in and was told that I was paired up with 2 others that never showed. My stepdad and I were givin a key for a cart. Go outside and key doesn't fit go back in and was told that I can't use those carts they're for members go out front and get a cart from there. So I go out front to the junkyard of golf carts. So I grab a junk and then head back to the first tee. Where a twosome just teed off and we were next. The starter said where's the other 2 people I said that they didn't book with us so I wasn't waiting so the starter drove halfway down the hole to make twosome come back to the tee to play with us. We tee off. When we get close to the green we are approached by a ranger and told not to drive inside the white lines. I said where's the line he said that they haven't repainted them yet so I said and by this time I was getting very aggravated if I see them I will. So we moved on and tried to make the best of it. Course is ok greens so so. Halfway through the 2nd time same 9 holes someone pulls up and asks why they gave me that cart. The junk I said? He said we need to switch carts again. We finished the round and will never be back. This place is very disorganized and not friendly to nonmembers. Good luck if you decide to go here!

Newest edition to my boycott list. Not an 18 hole course, my buddy and I paid for 18 and were disappointed to find out we had to play the “front” (and back) 9 over again. Wishing there was a zero star option!! Drove from MA. Junk.

My girlfriend and I found den Brae from a google search and to our surprise, the public course was well maintained and the staff was wonderful! It’s a great course, one of the best we’ve played at in New Hampshire! The course is away from the main roads making it absolutely peaceful with picturesque views.

What a day! 90 degrees (plus) course was green everywhere. Scored below the temperature, that's a good thing... Enjoyed the course, Sam at the pro shop is very helpful to us first timers. Would go back again. Anyone reading this and thinking about playing here, do so, it is a good course.

I first played at Den Brae last summer when I was up at the lake for vacation. We all had an incredible experience! Den Brae may be a 9 hole course, but the conditions are incredible. After the round, we ordered food and drinks and the inside staff was super helpful and the food was amazing! We came back again this year and the experience was even better than before. Seems like the course is constantly improving and we’re excited to make this an annual thing each summer!

while it is very affordable and a well maintained course , being harassed by the rent a cop ranger and having him follow you to every hole trying to speed up your group of four so the group of two a few holes back doesn't get held up , ruins the game

This little gem of a course really is enjoyable and friendly to the beginner to the daily golfer. Although it's only 9 holes, you still have the opportunity to pull out the driver on almost every hole. Gordon and his staff make you feel like part of the family. Grab your sticks, spouse, children, friends or go by yourself, you are in for a treat.

We love this place! My husband and i are not members, but they make us feel like we are. Nothing bad to say about Den Brae! Layed back bown to earth people, in the club house and on the course. Two thumbs up!

Nice 9 hole course. I liked the layout. One par 5 and one par 3, back to back of course. Greens weren't in great shape but they rolled pretty good near the holes. I would play it again.
