REVIEWS OF Campbell's Scottish Highlands Golf Course IN New Hampshire

Nice lay out....tee boxes in great shape.... Greens not so much.... Still a good course worth the trip

Alan Zalewski

Course was in great shape. Staff was super friendly. And most important, the burgers were tremendous!

Kevin Rhodes

Christopher Olson, DO

Friendly courteous people and nice layout in decent condition. Generally pretty open and relatively short (both pluses for me and most golfers). It could be made a lot harder if they let the roughs grow. Tees, fairways and greens in good condition. I will be back.

Bryan Butler

Mike Baldwin

Great course!

Robert Smith

The best overall practice area I have ever been to. There are grass tees, but also tees with a canopy, so if it is very hot it is comfortable under the canopy. You can chip from three levels of ruff. There are two bunkers and enough area to hit any length shot. However, I have never played the course.

Will Ziembo

Good place for errant t shots a little wet in the fairways fast tough greens

Jim Schwalbe

Dana Campbell

Linda Baker

Nice course. A bit pricey for what it offers

Jerry O'Neill Jr.

What a great public course. Not a very hard or overly long course, 6200 yards from the tips, but a challenging course. Front 9 is very much a links style 9 holes while the back 9 is more of a traditional course that a bit narrower than the front. Greens were surprisingly fast too. I will definitely be back to play this course again!

Seth Savage

Great course.

Ed Borchers

Sir Tyler

Good course, decent management. Busy at almost all times, but there's a reason for that.

Beautiful course . Highly recommend you play here . Very friendly staff .

To whom this may concern, Ive, been playing here for 20 years and commute from Peabody Ma. and there is a reason! This course has a great layout and you can score well because from tee to green it is manicured to perfection and from fairway or rough you can still make great shorts. The staff here are totally professional and the most cordial i have ever associated with at any courses ive played in America. If you havent experienced this great tribute to golf you better high tail your b--- there. Thanks Scottish Highlands for the great experience you have provided me every time i play there.

Played this course yesterday. It was great. The round was only 50 dollars and it came with a free lunch after my round which was sweet. The course is well maintained and everything looks great. It's a pretty easy course that's sort of wide open so you won't lose as many balls. The layout is cool and fun tho. Lots of dog legs. My only complaint is...... HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE ANY WATER COOLERS AT ALL, ANYWHERE THROUGHOUT THE 18 HOLES!!! Especially during the hot summer days. Im not sure if this was a fluke, as this was my first time at the course but I would have figured maybe a couple water coolers to get some water scattered throughout the 18 holes. There was a beverage cart that came out but we didn't see her until hole 14. Cool course tho.

I dont know how this course gets the reviews it gets....this defines gimmicky golf. Blind shots, 90 degree dog legs constantly and very short even from the tips are all the reasons i would never go back there. I mean i counted 4 times where i had to drive my cart 200 yards up the fairway (from the tee box) just so i could see where i should play my second shot. Totally unacceptable. The only reason why i gave it any stars is because of the service.

Andrew Wallis

Just went for food. It was delicious and messy. One bite of the burger and I had egg yolk all over me. Very nice folks there.

Pat O'Grady

Scott Goodwin

Wide Fairways make it so a missed shot doesn't completely screw you up.

Robert Urquhart

My favorite course. Fair and challenging at the same time. The front 9 has a links feel - fun and open.

Dave Trull

Very wet with all the Spring rain we've had.

David Mobbs

One of the nicest rounds of golf You'll Play All Year

Brandon Whitcher

The course has a nice layout with a links style course on the front and completely different on the back. The rates were very reasonable. Only 4 stars rather than 5 due to a lot of the greens were a little beat up and not many ball marks being repaired. Also, we played 18 and as we made the turn, there was a three group back up on the tees. They were letting people off for 9 holes on the other side and couldnt keep up. Fun course overall and worth playing.

Beautiful course, but staff and rangers were not very friendly. Lots of leaves on fairways so you'd lose a ball you drove down the middle of the fairway which was quite frustrating.

Chris Abruzzio

Highly recommended. Great course for intermediate golfers. Wide open concept, with some tricky holes. Great food at the clubhouse and friendly staff.

Chris Alphen

Played yesterday, a Saturday. Play moved right along. Course in decent shape with the only issue being some soggy fairways. Not something the course has any control over.

Joe Sher

The only star is 100% for the course and its condition. Decent lay out and above average upkeep. When we arrived I was optimistic and the staff (at first) was very friendly and helpful. We were only playing 9 so we asked if we should play the front or the back. The starter raved about the back and how it was more of a "golf course" and that there would be NO ONE behind us so we could take our time. So we took his advice and went off 10. Then after hitting my approach on the 10th we were told there was "10 high schoolers behind us waiting to tee off". We shrugged it off and tried to keep our pace up. Then on 13 we were FORCED to skip the hole then we're belittled by the high school coach for our tee choice. (I am a 12 handicap I know which tees to use) One shining light in all of this was one of their course embassitors Frank. He showed us a hidden tee box on 14 which made the hole more aesthetically pleasing and fun to play, as well as being the only apologetic soul on the entire course . Overall I loved the course itself but the staff and lack of planning will discourage me from playing there again.

Friendly staff, excellent food, price is good, course is in excellent shape and fun to play from the avid golfer to the novice. Has a driving range, chipping practice area, putting greens. New golf carts are on the way.

Great course, pretty open and well kept. The rangers are always out keeping the pace which is nice. A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. Worth checking out if you are in the area!

Mike Raymond

Course is in great shape. Fair and fun to play

Bob Gregory

The greens are slow.

Robert Hausken

All I can say is that's it an awesome facility.course is beutiful

Chris Stelzer

Awesome course and nice open layout. Cart system was a huge bummer and really the only reason for not giving this 4-5 stars. There is no signage showing where you can and can’t take carts. So when you go in areas they don’t want you (not obvious areas) the cart literally shuts down and you have to back out of the area at a snails pace. Only problem is you don’t even know where to go to correct the issue. Very frustrating.
