The driving range is really close to 2 holes and lots of stray/broken balls on the course when we started. Narrow and unforgiving rough (rock and dirt) sum up my overall feeling. The group behind us cut in front of us on the back nine which made play even slower. Greens were fairly consistent and fairways played nice.

Course was in terrible shape, the Warden's were always showing up at the worst times to make sure things were moving even though we were moving quickly, we would joke with them and they would tell the group behind us we were rude. The Pro Shop couldn't figure out how to get us out on the course during a busy day, problems getting out on hole #1 and the turn. It should be all about the course, however just couldn't get past the horrible service that was rendered to me and my party. Plus the course was is awful shape in late March, couldn't figure out why. Avoid this course at all cost.

What a great place, staff was attentive, the rates are reasonable, and the layout is challenging. I’ve played it more than three times over the past year and the greens and fairways are always in immaculate condition. I can’t wait to play it again.

Stopped by after hours and got bum rushed while reading the clubhouse rules and asked to leave immediately. And no later than now! walker and all. Then I had to have a conversation with a local police person, I guess because I could not get my self propelled walker into 4th gear and do more than .5 miles per hour. I apologize for breaking that gear 2 years ago when I had a stroke requiring retraining (30 days worth, to walk without a wheelchair). I was not homeless or indigent just looking for exercise to improve my quality of life!

Good resident's rate. $30 . Started on back 9 to avoid a tournament and finished in 4 hours flat. Decent shape. Greens rolled well for winter grass.

I went to practice and the range is deplorable from the mats to the balls. No dimples, sliced and with gouges. This will probably be the last time I visit the range. On a positive note the practice green is great.

This is my second visit to the club this year as this is not my primary residence. The club is very clean, and everyone is gracious and informative. I used the driving range and practice putting green. The course is in excellent condition.

This is a great course with friendly staff in all areas. I don't understand the reason for the negative reviews I play this course at least twice a month and 90% of the time the pace of play is fast and the course is in GREAT shape. Like all courses they do have scheduled maintenance but show me a course that doesn't. Jeez.

Fairways are in great shape,though pretty narrow. Waste areas are gravel - you stand a good chance of getting club damage. For the green fees they charge, you'd think they could maintain the cart paths; evidently not. The paths are in terrible shape and your back will feel the heaving pavement.

Book a tee time,Good luck on teeing off anywhere near your time, the staff will tell you any number of lies if you ask about the delays. The truth is that they overbook and give preferential treatment to their friends without tee times. OB Sports provides the worst customer service at golf courses in Las Vegas , by far.

Love the place!!!!! Play 2-3 times a week. They just changed their booking app and it absolutely SUCKS. It use to be very user friendly as of two was ago. I tried to use the "new and improved app" and I can't even find a tee time let alone book one!!! PLEASE fix it or go back to the old app!!!

I like this place alot. A little rough around the edges but overall a very nice course. My two biggest negatives: need new driving range balls and greens need to be cut shorter(they are very nice and run true but need to be faster and run out more. Overall, from tee to Green the course is really good. Take a rock club if u spray the ball.

Golf club is nice not a lot of people in the restaurant I don't understand why maybe advertising... across the street is cracked eggs so maybe people go there for breakfast and lunch.... it would be nice to see more people eating ,putting green is nice store is very small. maybe turn the racquetball court into a yoga studio .... clean but just needs more people in it

My negative review is not for the course. I played there early September and my truck was broken into with causing damage to my vehicle and cash being stolen that I had accidentally left in there. Please do not leave anything valuable in your cars while playing there. I emailed the course asking if they had cameras and to contact me and never heard a word back. I will not be going back to play there.

I see a lot of people complaining about delays on here (Maybe they're playing Sat Morn?). Every starter we've dealt with gets us out 5-10 mins early. This course was in good (not perfect, but good) shape, and during the week days is usually pretty darn open. Specially when you go out between noon and 2pm. Good rates too. This is more of a locals course, so you wont see a crazy amount of visitor traffic.

Poor service, I had scheduled a start time from GolfNow which was charged to my Credit Card. I did not receive an email for verification so I called the Golf course and they stated that I did not have a tee time scheduled. Then I called Golf Now and waited for a significant time to verify and though the GolfNow stated They would put me in the q they did not return my call. Now Painted Desert is saying to Golf Now that I did have a tee time and neither GolfNow of Painted Desert Golf will refund the cost for the tee time! Very poor service and will no longer use GolfNow and do not recommend Painted Desert due to poor service!

Course ok. Service ok++. My biggest gripe is with sand traps (I hit too many). Not enough sand and only one or possibly two rakes per trap. And the bunkers are very big. This alone slows play way down.

Haven't played here in probably 15 years. I originally planned on playing at Paiute but the staff was very rude at the check in so I left and gave painted desert a call. The guy who answered the phone couldn't have been nicer and told me to come over and he could get me right out. They paired me up with another single and we finished in around 3 hours. The course was much better than I expected. Greens were in great shape as was the rest of the course. Looking forward to playing at painted again soon.

Was treated poorly from the time i entered pro shop till i left. We had a large group 16 players and when we showed up they were busy and couldn't get us off until 30 min after our tee time (that was arranged weeks earlier). 4 players didn't want to wait and when i checked in they said it would be no problem if the 4 players didn't want to play and that it would be better because they were so busy. A few days later i see that they charged my card with out authorization for the 4 players that they were to busy to accommodate. I called Greg the manager and he was rude and lied about it. besides the poor management . the course was way over booked. We will not be coming back!

Painted Desert looks like a very easy course to play but it was so hard that I couldn't find a ball that I or my playing partner saw land. But I will be back to play again and still enjoy it

Our nonprofit organization held a fundraising tournament here. The 56 golfers who came had great things to say about the beautiful condition of the course and helpful staff. Ryan Darland, the golf pro, and Tracy, who directs food & beverage, were extraordinarily accommodating, and went to great lengths to ensure things went smoothly for our guests. They clearly care about giving back to their community, and lead an incredible staff of hard-working, kind professionals. We are definitely doing another tournament here next year!

It's an absolutely great course not to expensive was $45 for a 10 am tee time on a Friday, I've always loved playing this course, has a low medium range of difficulty, but can be hard if you play the back tees, lots of bunkers. Overall really fun to play
