You will be able to see all the information of people who consumed the services and products of Las Vegas National Golf Course (Golf) in Nevada area.
As of day the firm has a score of 4.3 out of 5 and the rating has been calculated on 364 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is really good, and it's founded on a very large number of opinions, so we can be pretty sure that the evaluation is very credible. If there are many people who bothered to give their feddback when they are happy with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to set reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Golf corresponds to the category of Golf club.
Played the course 3/20/19. Have not played the course in years since Caesars took it over sad raised the rates. The course was not in good shape at all. Was not worth $80 for 18 holes. Ranked dead last out of the 6 courses played for condition.
The staff is very informative they will take care of you and answer all your questions I play this course every week I'm a local and it's probably one of the better courses that I've been on. The course itself is very forgiving so if you make a mistake it's okay. But it is very challenging.
This course is a classic ,been around a long time, lots of trees, not that easy, lot of challenging holes. Plays longer than the yardage says.
Long hard well maintained course reasonably priced in the heart of Vegas. It's worth playing just for the signs about the stars houses around the course.
The golf course is Beautiful and a Joy to play on. The club house setting amongst the lush green fairways is an absolute treat. The historical displays, "The Rat Pack" and casino memorabilia, was fun to look through. The restaurant has Good Food and the bar pours freely. I'll be coming back many more times in the future. Thank You for an all around good time.
Amazing course. Open but challenging. Unlike any other in town, staff was Great, well maintained. Great price and away from the strip- and the strip prices. Historic, very cool facts posted at the tees. Had a great time. Highly recommend for large groups.
Nice driving range area Snack shop sucks though
This is a fun layout
Love this course.
This is a very awesome course for any type of golfer. The fairways were fast and well maintained exclamation part if you had a good drive you could actually make some points on this birdies were nice! The course was nice.. great play on the greens! Nice day to play! Had fun and will be back soon to get in another round in! So grab some fellow golfers and get in 18 here you will love it!! Tell em Tbone sent you #getoutngolf #tellemtbonesentya
Nice breakfast there
Very enjoyable golf course. Lots of history. ( the Rat Pack, etc...)
Beautiful will be back soon!!!
It was worth every bad swing
Best test of golf in the city. A true shotmakers course. Not a target desert course but a thinking golfers course. Lots of trees, strategic bunker placement. Need to be able to hit fades and draws to really score well. No ridiculous carries over the grand canyon either. 5 par threes to test you on. Just a great mature course that doesnt feel like a typical Vegas desert course. Condition at the course is very good now too. New group seems to be doing a great job of sprucing her up. Lots of history here too.
Great course, I always enjoy playing here. The staff always give great service and the course is always in good condition. The greens were recently sanded, but any other time of the year this is a top 5 course to play in Las Vegas (in my opinion)
Beautiful course. Awesome personal. Especially Brian.
Good course, need to practice.
Course was in great shape and the pace of play was great
Great layout. Classic design. Fun course! Lots of Vegas history.
A treasure just East of the Strip. I drive across the Valley to play here so if you are visiting and wanting a place to play I highly recommend this over other tourist trap courses.
Dated 70's country club yet banquet staff were terrific and attentive
One of the best I've played as far as history and very personal as if your a private member. Thanks National !
Great course!
nice bartender barbra... what a customer service lady...course ok not one of the better ones in vegas but I'd go back just to see that bartender... what a great lady...
Fun course. Good shape. Like the Back 9 better than tge front. Srrvice was good.
Had a great time and the guys in the back loading our cart were extremely friendly and helpful. They could not have been more polite and knowledgeable about the course and its history. Can't wait to go back.
I found animal droppings in the grass when I was playing golf
Nice golf course. Not too crowded
Played Saturday 8/02/14. The course is challenging and in great shape. Good shots are rewarded and the generous fairways keep the pace of play moving along well. The staff were all terrific, Pro Shop, Snack Bar, Beverage Cart, and Cart Barn were all attentive and remarkably pleasant. Great experience right in town!!
Great course. It is well kept and more challenging than anticipated.
Nice course
Grass and green everywhere... Which is untypical of a last Vegas golf course. Fantastic layout, well maintained and amazing staff. Price is very fair as well. Great value.
Very professional, excellent food and fine entertainment.
Super expensive for how dirty the course was. Every ravine on the course had trash in it. Fairways and greens were nice but anything off that was questionable. I tried the golf board, it was fun.
Its ok... got stalked by marshals on back 9
Greens were great, pace of play was solid, and the attendants are friendly and helpful. Rough is thin and patchy but that's the nature of Bermuda grass in winter.
Nice Course but the employees are extremely rude!!! My daughter and I was practicing at the Range, until Ron came over and started to yell and use extreme language towards us because the shooting range was closed for 10 minutes, and my 11 year old made a diviot into the ground. There was 1000s of divots all around us. I don’t understand how can you be so rude and work at a Golf Course. I’ve called to the GM and left a message, with no call back. Shame on the National for having such a terrible employee. Will NOT return.
Fun and challenging course. Great staff, very friendly.
I played at National on 08/08/2013 and the greens were covered in sand, I could not see any grass. I have lived in Vegas for 23 years and the times I have played Las Vegas National the course it has never been in good shape from tee box to green. The price is ok but there are too many other good courses for tha same money. Also I am wish the staff would just be honest and up front when you call and ask about course condition.
Frank, Dino, and Sammy don't hang out there anymore but that doesn't mean it's not worthwhile. An older course that's kept in good condition, reasonable rates and a handy location. I know a few people that swear by the restaurant.
Great staff hard fun course
Not bad for a public golf course.
Go there for business lunch once a week. Hidden gem. Affordable but higher quality than chain restaurants. Great staff and always in & put in under an hours time
This course was beat up and not very well maintained. The snack bar was closed and they only had one cart girl. We paid well over $100 to play, but in reality the course is a $40 track. Stay away from this one!
Slow greens but cool old school course.
We always enjoy playing here. The course is well maintained and the staff is always as helpful and friendly as it gets. Great value for the price.
Called in for my tee time on my way up from Phoenix - good friend moved to Vegas and had tix for the Knights game on Wed - so as a treat back thought we could tee it up on Thursday morning. I drove so my friend didn't have his wallet - lives there, has a business in Vegas - but no budging on the Clarke County rare - offers his business card and website... so we started out on a bad foot... On 7 we ran into a 5-some - - ranger said they would let us play thru at 9 (we were a two-some) they were so slow we ended up skipping nine after we watched 13 shots and they still were not out of range for tee shots. Discovered one of their players didn't show so instead of two 3somes they played 5. They were clearly regulars. At the turn there was no fresh food - only sandwiches in the fridge from the day before.. Course was in great shape - greens were rolling really nice - the history on the signs about the homes was fascinating Bag room staff was the only highlight - very welcoming and pleasent. Shooting a note to the GM to see if this is the expirence your supposed to have at Las Vegas National
Great but 16 green is looking rough
Very Long n challenging type of course.
Great staff and range my first week coming here
A nice retro feel at the clubhouse along with the surrounding neighbourhood. Excellent breakfast. The course itself was in great condition with lush fairways and very nice greens. It's a long course with very long Par4's. Usually 170-195 yards in for your second shots with a good drive. Very nice round of golf and a pleasurable experience. Will be back.
Awesome place. Friendly, helpful and a great course. Wide open fairways are deceptive, easy to hit safe however if you don't think all the way to the pin your approach becomes infinitely more challenging. Pay attention to pin placement and approach angles.
Loved it!! The food was crazy good, shrimp fried rice! I met David out on the course and he was so friendly! Give that man a raise!
1st time here and it was wonderful, great staff and local players we're very friendly. Thank you Rick!
I know I enjoyed it
It is a very challenging course. Most of the courses here in Las Vegas have ravines and other desert hazards. This one is mostly flat but is still challenging. It is an old course and I believe that it was the Course that the FBI landed the plane on in the movie Casino.
Good condition hard to play special when hitting back tees.
This is a hidden treasure for golfers. Well maintained. Great service.
Best value for golf in the city....well maintained and marshaled. An all round good golfing experience.
The houses were amazing, the people were so kind and courteous, everything was Immaculate, and the dogs were very pleasant it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
I and a friend had breakfast in the restaurant. We received excellent service by the waitress and the food was exceptionally well prepared.
Played LV National last week on my visit to LV. The course was in very poor shape and play was very very slow. Ended up quitting after 12 holes. Most of the homes around the perimeter of the course have seen their day. At one time in its' day this was the place to play golf in Vegas. Far from it now. Then when you add in the green fees of $109/pp this was a slap in the face. Played another course the day before this and paid $59/pp and got 100X more satisfaction out of it. After our 12-hole round and packing up in the parking lot I then realized why the lot was 1/4 full. Then I asked myself why was play so slow? That's up to the staff to figure out. Las Vegas National is off my list for my next Vegas trip. Sorry guys but it was bad.
Friendly staff, good food, nice course. A great way to spend the day.
Come here once a year to over see the Hole in One for my Dads Golf Tournament. My Son Loves it too. Nice greens. However there is a Lady that works in the restaurant there sometimes(The TALL skinny one) and she just thinks her S@&÷ don't stink and is soooooo rude.... Make Sure you order from the other Lady that works there all the time if you get hungry.
Golf course was in fantastic shape.
Great place to come and play. The course is pretty hard
Visited today only for Christmas Day breakfast in the company of friends and enjoy the food very well friendly service good staff and a fully stocked bar you can't go wrong.
Awesome golf course. Had a great time. Felt a little rushed, but I heard it's their busy season.
Greens baby greeens
Great staff on a beautiful, affordable course
I really enjoyed the course. Great layout in pretty good shape. The bunkers could use some attention. Pro shop staff, starter, cart staff were all very good to excellent. The snack bar was closed. The bar/restaurant was open, but unattended (we waited for > 10 minutes). There was a refreshment cart on the course. I will definitely play this course again for the golf layout, hopefully the poor food service was an anomoly.
My son has a house on it. Don't play golf myself but it's a nice looking course
Nice course, reasonable cost, close to strip.
Love the course a little busy
Great course and classic
Another outstanding day at National, awesome weather perfect service !!!
Good course with a lot of nostalgia. My gripe is that is if you are not local... you're paying twice as much.
Tough course playing from the championship tees(blue). Plenty tight fairways, approach shots into small windows. You would think whoever did the pin placements today wife must've left them bc they were a straight jerk LOL - a good 4-5 were on slopes with no chance of holding an approach shot. Greens were rather dry n crunchy but not fast at all, played wayyyyyy slower than they looked but they weren't horribly hard or bumpy to where you wouldn't make outta Play was rather slow, 4somes everywhere with mediocre to below average players makes it tough to stay within a zone or consistent. But a great value but if you can play for anywhere under $75 a 18 I'd say & definitely a challenge, probably challenging from the white tees as well.
Nice course. Feels a little dated but still enjoyable and in good shape.
I enjoy this place, staff friendly too.
Great course. Had a wonderful round and a cheeseburger for lunch.
I love to play this course
Had a great round here. Old school layout which is a real challenge from the back tees. It was darn hot the day we played but the beverage cart visited regularly to delivery water and Gatorade. I had to rent clubs and they were a mixed bag of irons. This was the only disappointment. This 4 stars instead of 5
Gr8 course been playing it for years but l8tly the staff seem a lot more friendly from checkin through after round drinks and lunch today was pot roast special I took 2 home for the non golfer wife and me and what a treat kudos to the chef delicious cant wait to see the next special Cheers n bears Jim
Great grid long in distance Old School Layout trees to deal with that have seen a lot of stuff watch out for hungry cayotees they will feast on birds for lunch
Great course, super reasonably priced, great service experience.... If you want to go hit 18 holes in Vegas without spending $500+ on a tee time this is your place.
Very good course with alot of history
Excellent golf coarse
I went to check in, I’m a local he asked for my id. I shared it with him. I then stated we needed rentals and then he questioned if we were locals how come no clubs. Sorry detective... When we went to pick the cart the gentlemen said he needed the pink slip. I dropped everything in my car, so I went to get it as I returned, with an attitude he said it was the wrong one. The only other slip I had was the receipt which I needed for my expense reports. They finally let us play but partnered a 4th. We played behind a foursome that was more interested speaking business then playing at a solid pace. I then have tried to contact the course twice to speak with Leo, and he appears to leave at 2pm. I can’t leave a message to have him return the call. The second call was the gentlemen who checked me in. He sai I will defend myself, I wasn’t rude. But apparently their leadership doesn’t know or have processes in place. My clients were from fox sports, Espn, and Honeywell. They were all unhappy
Very nice course with a friendly and helpful staff. Downside is other golfers who dont know the game and the damage the course they cause and little golf etiquette. The course is great though.
You are treated well at this course
Great course for the price, I paid in the 30 dollar range. No hole has anything to write home about. I would place it a step above most municipal courses. Friendly staff. Great customer service.
Historic course, friendly staff, good times...book a tee time on their website is a horrible experience though.
Good course with a lot of history. Good value.
Good value, course is in good condition
Playability was not too bad for an older course. Layout was exactly as stated and could be tough so requires course management on your part. The staff at the cars were real friendly and helpful. One thing we noticed, was that it was really noisy from all the planes going by. Not helpful to your game but it will make you a better golfer.... said my wife... ;)
The manager of golf doesn't appreciate his customers, I've $200 over a month and he treats me like I'm homeless...a lot of the golfers have poor etiquette
Great golf course. Plays well.
As a visitor don't waste your time.
Good course. Very long and challenging par 3's on this course. Felt like the cost was worth it. Very friendly staff and decent rental clubs to boot. I would come back and play here again, close to the strip and easy to Uber back and forth from.
Great course staff was very friendly
Great old course from the tips
Didn't enjoy it as last time. Greens were rough today
Great track and only 50 bucks including cart for mid October. Really loved the signs on the t boxes explaining some of the history of the course. Easy to figure out whats going on and no trick holes. Decent scenery and fun to play. Greens were a little shaggy from overseeding during our mid October round . We all really enjoyed it and will play again!! 18 is a great finishing hole.
Very nice course for the price.
Service at check in and service at the starter was deplorable. Rude, arrogant, and mean! It was so bad that we packed our bags and left! This place is stuck in the era of the rat pack with attendants servicing clients with an attitude that we are lucky to play the course. I WILL never Come here again and I recommend that anyone considering playing here... GO Somewhere else!
The food is good but not for the price. Drinks are great and the staff are professional and courteous. Want the country club experience in old Vegas, here it is. Want amazing food, this isn't it
Great staff but course needs a little TLC. It is challenging
Excellent course. Great condition. Clubhouse staff very friendly.
Beautifully peaceful I love it
This Ownership and Management are Racist! My group that is 3 Black men who signed up for the 9 hole resident special of $29. We were told that the rate had changed to $45 per person when we arrived. The Owner said that the have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. He said why don't you people go to Las Vegas Golf Club, where YOU ALL will feel more at HOME!
Everyone at Las Vegas National provides exceptional service and I just had a great time playing where all the old greats have played in the past. The conditions were the best I have ever seen it here at LVN and I cant wait to play it again. I really enjoyed the layout of the course it seems simple and easy but for some reason it is challenging for me to score well on this course. This is a great course for all handicaps but would be best if your an 18 or under in my opinion.
Pricey and slow.. not the best
Wonderful place.
Great course and great service
We had a lot of fun golfing this course! This course has its challenges but let me tell you it is a fun course. This course is designed for a little bit of a challenge but it is fun as it can be on a sunny day! This course has very well-maintained greens and tee boxes! The fairways were very generous! And if you've got a good putting stroke you can get in for par very easily and maybe even a birdy! I had a lot of fun golfing this course. It was a little busy but people are very nice and look out for each other and let you pass when you catch up because I could tell that there was some people out there for conversation instead of golfing. The range was set up properly the clubhouse was full of anything you might need as a visitor golfer. The staff was very helpful in guiding us around the premises. The beverages were cold. And it was just all out a good time. I would suggest grabbing some friends and a tee time and swing in the club at Las Vegas National Golf Center! Tell em Tbone sent ya! Support your local golf course. #getoutngolf
It's a fun course
Golf course was in great condition but three of the golf boards died before we could finish the course.
Fantastic course. Beautiful old school surroundings.
Nice course at a very decent price in Vegas. It is an older course but was well maintained for a Late October round. The staff was great and you have to try the golf boards! It's a challenging course for any golfing level. Also the last hole runs up along Sam "Ace" Rothstein's house from the movie Casino.
Older course, surrounded by an older Vegas neighborhood. Was well maintained, staff was friendly and helpful, was decent amount of shade along course so you could get out of the sun from time to time.
Close to the strip with some decent views of the hotels. Nice historic notes on some of the holes. Not a long course, but still challenging. Good condition and friendly peeps.
Course is in great condition. A marshal is riding around the course to insure play is not slow and players are staying within the time frame.
Nice course in heart of Vegas
Good course and great hospitality. Cant complain.
Great place to play
Great Value in golf
Love the layout, however the course conditions were very average. Greens were long, slow and bumpy. Played at a <2 hour pace on the front 9, as we ignored an overzealous, power-tripping ranger who said we were playing slow. Front 9 beverage service very good- back 9 not so good. Club service and cleaning excellent.
Great people and facilities...friendly!
Historical Las Vegas golf course. If you know the history it makes this course great. Tough place to play. Practice facilities is pretty decent.
Hi this review is to allow residents of Las Vegas, to be aware of the fact that the The Las Vegas National Course , located on Desert Inn near the Boulevard Mall, knowing allows a pack of wild coyotes, to Inhabit the premises, and has for several years. We have young children and elderly people , ourselves, along with many pets, that live on and around this golf course. This is a densely populated area in the heart of the City. On June15th , 2019 a wild coyote, jumped into a family's backyard and killed two of their pets. I am extremely angry about the situation !!!! This is a situation that could have been avoided. I will not stop until those wild coyotes are gone. You will find nothing online or any signs in the area posted of the dangers of wild animals in area. The golf course the city of Las Vegas should care enough about the people that live in and around the area to allow us to be aware of the wild coyotes living free, running loose, just over our back fence. These are the first fatal wild coyote attacks, that I am aware of. It did not have to come to this. I feel as if it's the duty of the Las Vegas National Golf Course along with the city of Las Vegas to step up to the plate and be responsible for the dangers that are on there golf course and in our city. These wild coyotes are capable of killing our pets, (and have), our children, the elderly, along with ourselves. Wild Animals should not be allowed near our families. Expecally if we are not Aware that they are there. What are we waiting for? Next ... These wild animals are going to kill one of our children. We are in danger!!!! I called the course today. I spoke with a manager. "They're aware that the wild coyotes live there!." The city of Las Vegas is aware of wild animals residing in city limits. Something is wrong with that why is nothing being done? These wild coyotes are a danger to our society! Is the city of Las Vegas not concerned for our safety. I asked the manager at the golf course why do they allow the coyotes to live there. Along has with has anyone ever tried or attempted to run them off?His answer was ...it will cost a lot of money. I know the last time I know the last time I checked on the price of bullets they weren't all that much money. Wild animals running loose in our city with access to our young children, ABSURD!!!!!! There are no signs at or on or around the golf course stating the existence and dangers of wild coyotes residing in area. Why don't we just go ahead and let our children play in waters infested with alligators. Same thing correct??? Now, I don't believe for one second, that any amount of money would be... money poorly spent when it comes to the life of a family member, much less our pets. I will get to the bottom of this. This it's my first step and I will take several more to get these wild animals the heck away from my family my neighbors my society and all of our pets.
Very accommodating staff, good bar food, course in good condition
Good shape
Great workers, had a great time! A Plus in my book.
Morning tee time on a Sunday and I could immediately tell this is as old as described. Overall, I would say if you are coming to Vegas to get some golf memories, go elsewhere. If close and cheap is what you are looking for though, this is your place. I got a military rate so it was at least 50% cheaper than other places in the general vicinity of the Strip. Taxi ride was between $15-$25. It was kept pretty well however, the geese, pigeons and ginnea chickens have sort of taken over. I was paired with one other guy who was nice and never really felt rushed. Really felt like a municipal course with all the goose doo-doo and run down houses that were obviously built when Vegas was born. Pace of play was pretty good given it was pretty full, we played behind a female foursome who seemed to be locals and efficient players....Thanks! The staff was nice and the cart guys were professional and generous.
Very friendly staff, nice course layout. I will definitely be back.
Great course frienly, big breakfest tasty food friendly staff.
I enjoyed the course, was in good shape!!
For the price, I would assume a pristine course. Not close. Homeless camps on a few holes in a revine. Pond was disgustingly dirty with trash. Greens were extremely sandy. Not impressed. I would golf it again if the price matched the course.
I liked it a lot. Nice people, course is in good shape. Was able to get 14 holes before dark. No complaints.
Amazing golf course! One of the best in Vegas. Whether you are visiting or are a local and haven't yet checked this course out, do yourself a favor and make this your next golf outing. If you need any supplies or forgot to pack a golf item, the Pro Shop on site has a wide array of all things golf. Hungry? Thirsty? The bar has a great menu and an excellent variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for before and after golfing. Service here is always exceptional and highly professional. The green is impeccable, and even in not so great weather, it is beautiful and easy to play on. Beginners are welcome! They are also available to host events and charity fundraisers. Catering also available.
Course in good shape. Had a good day.Thanks.
Nice golf course. We'll maintained, and I had an enjoyable experience playing this course. 18 holes. Expensive.
2 cars were broken into while we played at this golf course. Watch your belongings.
Interesting course. Not exactly top notch in terms of green and fairway quality but its reasonably priced and close to the strip. I'm a 10 handicapper and found the course to be quite a good challenge. Perfect to get in a quick game while you're in town. 4 stars because it was 100 degrees and there was no water on the course itself. We were given a couple of bottles at the start but they soon finished. I would go back given the right circumstances.
Great staff good food. Course is in good condition. ..no sand in traps.
The course was in very good condition. The staff both inside and out were very friendly and helpful. This course has some great history. If you are a golfer this place is a must. The restaurant staff was great.
Love it
Loved it! Fun and challenging. Fast greens and a great staff! Can't wait to come back.
Very fun course. Requires a lot of imagination and length doesnt hurt either, ;)
Overall loved the course, facilities are good. Got a good deal through GolfNow at that time, teed up early in the morning. Conditions were good and staff were great (they can spot a tourist once you enter the door LOL) Location is nice, not at the strip but its right in there ;)
Great service, good course.
The cart guys were very friendly. they helped us with our bags. the course played well and was in good condition.
Fun course, lots of interesting Vegas history on the tee markers, staff friendly and helpful.
Love
