A nice course that is designed for very skilled players. It will be better if they ever build a clubhouse and restaurant.
Great course... challenging and fun. Course was in very nice shape. Talk about the middle of nowhere, but the drive was easy from vegas
Fabulous, gorgeous, challenging course!
First time playing the course, teed off at 8:10, finished around 12:30. Pace of play wasn't too bad. Did the replay for free. Very fair fairways, quite a few bunkers and a little tough to hold the greens. Greens were in good shape and had good speed. Benefitting from the Mesquite golf pass and playing 36 for the price of 18 we all thought it was well worth making the drive. Very scenic and the staff were terrific! Will play again. Off to play Wolf Creek today.
Just stopped by to look at the place. Beautiful location. The starter was a really nice guy; we talked for 20 minutes. Walked into the clubhouse and the two stiffs in there never looked at me. Worst customer service of all time. Jerks.
great golf course
What an amazing track!! Absolutely had a blast at this golf course. Played it last Sunday December 2nd. The scenery was spectacular!!
I can't remember playing a nicer course. Fair, but very challenging
Beautiful well maintained golf course, play within your talent or it will eat your lunch
A nice course that is designed for very skilled players. It will be better if they ever build a clubhouse and restaurant.
Amazing Jack Nicklaus course! Stunning views on every hole. Totally playable course with tees from mid 5000 to mid 7000! Great staff and fantastic facility...totally worth the 1 hour drive north from the strip. Definitely include CS in your Las Vegas golf trip!
Awesome golf
Coyote Springs Golf Club is home to a championship golf course that ranks with some of the best in Nevada. This desert-style layout provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area.
Nice
Pretty cool layout. Staff was friendly and helpful. Egg and bacon sandwich is not to be missed. Great practice facilities and comfortable carts. The course appears to be laid out for a north wind. If it's blowing more than 15 from any other direction, good luck. Decent choice of merchandise in the pro shop. I would definitely say worth the drive from Mesquite, and probably worth it from Vegas as well if you are out of options in the city. It's very peaceful since the housing hasn't arrived yet. The 4 stars is because it's a Nicklaus design and he hates people to hit driver or go for par 5s in 2. Also the greens here are quite ridiculous with regard to undulation. Luckily they weren't too fast when we played them, but they were still the hardest part of the course. The greens are bent grass, but they don't check well because there are hardly any flat places on the greens for the ball to land. Go play, but lower your expectations for your score and just enjoy the layout.
Spent time on mini tours and belong to 2 of the nicer country clubs in Vegas. But played coyote springs and while I love the track and layout, the vibe around this place was very unpleasant. Staff is constantly approaching players and it feels like they are either waiting for you to do something wrong so they can pick a fight or they want you off the course so the staff can go home. Not a very effective energy and treatment for a course starving for revenue. Would be surprised to see this course not shut down in 5 to 10 years, especially which a different business model after the housing situation didn't work. Not saying it isnt a course worth playing bc layout is very challenging and tips are brutal, especially in 35 mph wind. Jack did great job on layout. But would say many courses would be a better experience and better energy from staff. They are running this course like a congressional country club and its more like a stallion mountain if that makes sense. Also, greens condition were in worst shape of any course I've seen or played in last 2 years . And I play about 15 different courses every year minimum. Sincerely Thomas
Very nice course and well maintained. Worth the hour drive for sure
Had a wonderful time! Parred the last two holes!
Great golf in the middle of nowhere! Not an easy course but very senic, worth the ride from Las Vegas.
Love this course, a bit of a drive from Vegas but definitely worth the trip. Always in immaculate condition and amazing staff.
Would really like to check this place out one day
Nice beautiful course
So beautiful. & scenic!
working on my swing!
PAINFUL! 5 hours and 40 minutes to play a round, waited on every shot and never saw a Marshall the entire day. Too many good golf courses within 1/2 hour of the strip to drive an hour for this nightmare. Never going back.
I only have one thing to say awesome place to play the game.
Awesome, worth the drive to have an amazing desert golf course to yourself!!
Great course... challenging and fun. Course was in very nice shape. Talk about the middle of nowhere, but the drive was easy from vegas
Amazing!!!
paid 135 bucks to golf here. Was told the next day by an amused local that “boy we heard they really screwed you guys over out there at coyote Springs yesterday “ turns out the regular local rate was 40 dollars a round or 60 dollars out of town!!!! Don’t know who raised the rates but I would not have golfed here had I been made aware that we were being price gouged. How un-fair is it that we go during their slow season only to be charged triple the regular rate! Well that being said the course was not in bad shape. No trash cans anywhere and only one bathroom!!! The bathroom was 90 degrees. And club house made from a double wide trailer? This is a Jack Nicolas design? You sure? Jack always seemed like a very down to earth guy and very gracious both times we met him. But I don’t think he has any idea what they’re doing out there. I will be writing a letter to him with the full details of our visit. I’ll also be telling everybody that I golf with what they did to us. I golf 150 rounds a year all over the US. And the rest of our 12 man group feels the same. Also upon reading more internet information I learned that the place has been in varying degrees of legal trouble pretty much since its inception. Do yourself and your friends a favor and golf at a mesquite course for half the price.
Ok golf course, way to far from civilization. Out in the middle of no where.
Beautiful golf course. Difficult but very fair.
Great golfing..not open grill long enough..beautiful
Beautiful course and great staff.
On par the big names a great Golf Course everything you need a long hitters paradise
Great place great people

We played this course on Monday, October 21, 2019. Thanks to slow group in front of us, we played 18 holes with 5 hours 45 min. When we addressed the issue to golf marshall, they did not do anything to speed up. Young man in the club house, I think he is the manager of golf course, was very rude and gave us non-sense excuse that it usually take 5 hours to play at twilight but our tee time was at 12:00 pm. Lack of amenities, no phone signal unless your is verizon I was told so we could not call to the club house. The cart has no GPS and really need to be updated to match the reputation of course. So my conclusion is that if you want to waste your vacation time (2 hours to commute to the course from las vegas main hotels) and 6 hours playing time on Monday then it is right course for you.
Out of all the courses surrounding me in St George , this is well worth the short drive. Always in fantastic shape and a course you’ll leave talking about to your friends ! Can’t wait to get back !
My brother and I have ventured up to Coyote Springs Golf Club the last 5 years in a row during our annual trip to Vegas.. There's a reason that we make it a point to come back each and every year. It's a great layout, great conditioning for Early Sept (when we come), staff has always been fantastic, and the rates are reasonable for the quality of the overall experience. It's funny that some complain about the hour or so drive, I actually enjoy being able to escape the craziness of the world for a few hours and go to such a remote place.. We will be coming back in a couple weeks.. My only request is, let's get those greens running at a 10+ on Friday Sept 6th. :)
Good snack bar that's not advertised by highway sign on the way north. Only saw a sign about food service there on the way south back to Vegas.
This course is about a 1-hour drive NE from Las Vegas and worth the trip. It's a very pretty desert course with desert plants and beautiful mountains as the backdrop. It's a well-maintained course with friendly staff. There are no houses -- at least at this time (Feb 2016). This course is out in the middle of nowhere. So you do have great mountain and desert views with water also coming into play. There are minimal eat- drink facilities, though the beverage cart made frequent appearances during the round. Carts, unfortunately, are gas. But on the plus side they have club- and ball-cleaning devices on the cart. Very convenient-- love it! Play was slow the day we were there (a Friday) but supposedly it's a good pace of play during weekdays. The greens are undulating and fast -- difficult. There are lots of dangerous bunkers all over the place.. There's also water. So not an easy course. But there's great variety in the holes and they're interesting. Don't focus on your score. Enjoy the experience!
An oasis in the desert outside mesquite and Vegas. A must play for any golfer!! Amazing course!!

Great golf course in the middle of nowhere
Remote golf at its finest. Literally, the best place to get away from it all.
Nice course bunkers could more sand, greens bumpy and slow.
Was very disappointed with the experience. When we arrived in the parking lot staff grabbed our bags without asking if they could. Several in our group needed to get items from Insided their bags. Very pushy! Not personable. They are more focused on receiving a tip that customer service. Your starter on first tee told two members of our group that their drives were not good enough to play the tees we were on and should move up. Our group plays private country clubs and public golf clubs in Clark county and Southern California on a regular basis, most in our group play multiple times per week and we have never experienced a greater lack of professionalism and disrespect that we experienced at Coyote Springs Golf Club. I will not recommend this facility to anyone!
Karl, best host
Greens were horrible
I really like this golf course. It has a great layout and is in immaculate shape. The tee boxes are well maintained and level. The fairways are generous and lush. The greens are true and moderately fast, with very few pitch marks. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. For me this is a top 5 course in southern Nevada.
Really good Nicolas course just out in the middle of nowhere, hence 4 stars. Plenty of challenges and the hole description on each Redbox was helpful. Lots of water both on the course and for your consumption. Will play when temp.goes down to 90, 95ish.
Amazing spot. Played it several times and haven’t been disappointed. Definitely worth the drive from the strip
Great Golf on a challenging course!
Great lunch spot enroute to Idaho from Vegas
Played it about 5 times now and I really love the course! Tough as you want to make it. Know what you are in for before making the trip. The course is very well maintained, beautiful views, and away from it all! The greens are are difficult and fast, with a lot of undulation. The fairways are typical of a Jack design with nary a level lie from which to play. The fairway lies tend to make me chose the wrong club for the yardage due to an uphill lie or side hill that make you pull / push a shot. I recommend not playing it at more than 6800 yards. unless you are a plus handicapper.
Always the best! Super course, but the staff is even better! Thanks Karl and Doug!
Fantastic track, Jack Nicklas design beautiful n tough
Best golf course in the area for the public
Great layout and conditions. I hit every club in my bag. Local knowledge is huge here, best tip is to ask the starter where Mormon Point is; all putts break toward it. All! It is worth the drive. Very peaceful with lots of wildlife and a surprising amount of water. Load up with your buddies and visit on the drive, it is worth it with no houses, traffic, or streets. 10 stars. C
Good snack bar that's not advertised by highway sign on the way north. Only saw a sign about food service there on the way south back to Vegas.
Very nice golf course designed by Jack Niclaus. Afternoon sunset scenary is perfect.
Great course in wonderful condition all year long
Course is immaculate and challenging. One of the top 3 in Nevada in my opinion.
Coyote Springs is a gem. The isolation and the desert surroundings make the well-maintained course well worth the 400 mile drive I take twice a year just to play this course. The only question I have to ask myself is why I only make the trip twice a year.
Exceptionally hard Golf Course but beautiful
We were scheduled to have a high school tournament at this course and apparently it’s too hard for the staff to keep other golfers back or start them earlier. Duh no golf carts available even for coaches. Because obviously as the rude dude in the pro shop said “they are cash customers “ so after driving an hour and 30 minutes to see our son in his LAST high school match we ( a grandfather and a handicap dad) had to turn around and leave without seeing one hole played while the drunken paying customers in the parking lot waiting to tee off stood around for over an hour doing nothing. Good planning coyote Springs
This course is incredibly immaculate and designed to be a challenge. It is fair to you until you reach the greens. Wow! Not for novices. Absolutely worth the drive to it and you are immediately rewarded with a fair green fee, great driving range, etc.
Worth the drive. Vegas gem.
Great track!! Worth the trip.
Not in good condition this year.
Beautiful course, Great experience .
12 of us play here last week(october 2019). It is not quite the middle of nowhere but a solid 50 minutes from the mirage where we were staying, so allow a whole day to be gone. It is weird seeing the course miles form anything resembling civilization. Very well designed, a nice course. enough hard holes and less hard holes to make it good for anyone. No crazy forced drives, greens were in great condition, no complaints at all. Very pretty scenery. Only issue was a lack of amenities. Food on course was hot dogs and a few sandwiches, restaurant was essentially open but not there. People were nice but you sort got the impression that no one was really happy to be working there, are that they were :ok" with working there. But good golf if you don't mind the drive.
Shout out to Doug Walters and the rest of the staff. Beautiful course. Will be back.
Jewel in the desert.
Fantastic course. Forty miles from anywhere! Worth the drive if you have the time.
Great experience. Love the layout. Would be nice if the carts had GPS on them. Definitely worth the drive.
We golfed this course yesterday 9/15/19. We loved the course and the staff on the course were very accommodating and friendly. However, the young man at the clubhouse register was very rude and could certainly benefit from some serious customer service training. We had a couple with us who had a 6 hour drive after our game and he refused to even try to work with us to get us on earlier than our tee time, even though it was extremely slow, no golfers going out for the almost 2 hours we waited! Very frustrating and made our experience less than pleasing.
Unique hole layouts, beautiful scenery but absolutely terrible greens - typical Jack Nicklaus design- doesn't fit the average golfer- total joke. The new owners should redo every green ... I won't being going back until they redo the greens.
Amazing course. Challenging and fun
The remoteness of the location, is easily forgotten when you realize how isolated you are on a beautiful and tough track of golf. Well worth ir.
Beautiful golf course
Amazing well kept course with amazing views and great staff. Well worth the drive.
Awesome golf course. The toughest in Nevada so not recommended for beginners.
Great golf experience. The course was in beautiful shape, and very challenging. Worth the hour or so drive from Las Vegas
5.5 hours to play, staff acted like it was normal. There was a group of 4 or 5 foursomes that all had 5 people in them. One was a non playing young lady. Why they were there is the question of the day. Ridiculous, won't return
Haven't played it in 6 years still great I will be back
Amazing views on each hole, challenging layout and very good conditions. Definitely a risk - reward type of course. Out of the 8 courses we have played on our vacation, this was our favorite. We had some slow people in front of us- the marshal was very nice, but did not seem effective. I would love to play this again.
너무멋진 골프코스 ......환상..♥
Too far to play golf!
Great golf course
나무 조우다
Beautiful course only an hour out of Las Vegas. It was only $30 when booked through Groupon/Golfnow!
Amazing place
I must for any serious golfer when in Vegas.
What a challenge never a flat lie this course is beautiful and tuff

Played here earlier today. Course is in fantastic shape. Greens have lots of movement, but roll true and fast. Layout provides options to play it safe or agressive according to your game. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would say this course is only second in beauty to Wolf Creek, and in many ways more enjoyable for the average golfer. It will become a regular in our rotation each year at Mesquite.
Vety far drive & windy. Slow play on wkends
Great layout. Lots of memorable holes. Always in good to great condition.
Always a pleasure to try bring one of Jack's tracks to its knees. Disappointing to have to crawl in defeat to your car.
My friend and I found this course 3 years again after 15 years of annual golf trips to Vegas, and this is our new FAVORITE course. Best layout, challenging layout, beautiful scenery and very well-maintained. We're going again in 3 weeks, and will be on the first tee 3 hours after our planes land. Highly recommend!
Excellent course and staff. In the middle of nowhere with no off course facilities. Like a bar.
Top 3 course in Vegas.
Tough, tough course layout. Accurate ball placement is rewarded.
Beautiful course which is very well maintained! Lush fairways and beautiful but difficult greens to navigate around. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only complaint is the lack of yardage markings in the fairways. Had to constantly walk around to find a sprinkler head with a yardage marking on it (not all do). Would be a 5-star rating with yardage markers from 200 yds in..... Will definitely play this course again when opportunity permits......its a hidden gem!!
Wow what a great golf course . Beautiful, fun and challenging. Would definitely play this one again.
Great golf, but off the beaten track!!!!
What an amazing course, great views everywhere. One of the harder courses I've played lots of water and plenty of beach to go with but stunning rolling greens and fairways. Absolutely would go again. The staff there are really fun and friendly.
I will admit coyote has a good layout. But seeing as it’s out in the middle of nowhere, and costs a decent premium to play, their greens couldn’t be slower!!! We played a Saturday and got the slowest greens I’ve played in a long time. I can putt on carpet at home, let alone drive hours out to the middle of nowhere to do it. I would definitely recommend playing any other course in Vegas or Mesquite rather than make the trip all the way out there. You can pay a bit more and count the difference in the fact you won’t have to pay for a tank of gas to get to coyote. Definitely would not recommend this course.
Really nice course. Club house could have been better but course was top notch. Good people work there too.
The course is unbelievable. It is stunning, maintained in a first rate manner, with lush fairways, immaculate and difficult greens, with numerous and challenging bunkers. A free second round was offered in the times I have been there. The club house is a set of mobile trailers...but who cares, with a course like this, at this price, why would someone want to sit in a clubhouse? It is well worth the drive.
Love the course, just a longer drive to get there.
Lovely course
Hope they get the water fixed there. Course is okay
What an amazing course, great views everywhere. One of the harder courses I've played lots of water and plenty of beach to go with but stunning rolling greens and fairways. Absolutely would go again. The staff there are really fun and friendly.
Mr. Jack, you wonder why golf is having trouble with attracting and keeping players? Have you played this course or did you just pee on it from your helicopter? I'm a 4 and shot 78...but couldn't keep from thinking how stupid it was and designers are today! Why are you crying about the number of golfers today and putting out crap like this? Pros? This course was in great shape (water is wasted though). Cons? Located in BFE (literally)! Blind shots (not good for one time players)! Ridiculously undulating greens (good for goofy golf with clown mouths)! I feel bad for beginners through intermediate players, pars will be hard to come by. Good luck enjoying the game of golf there! Jack, you are beating your customers down!!! Get over it! Make something we can all enjoy!
Good course to play, well maintained fairways, and the greens are usually fast. The only draw back is the location and distance from the club house to the first TEE.
Phenomenal course but hard. It kicked my butt. First time I golfed it, but was blown away by the quality out in the middle of nowhere. I hope this community can get to where they are hoping it can. I will definitely be back.
Loved this course! Very well maintained and the staff was wonderful. Lots of challenging holes and the greens were pretty consistent. Kudos to the ladies in the beverage cart since they always seemed to be there when we needed more refreshments. A bit of a drive from Mesquite but definitely worth it!!!

The best golf course I've played. Challenging, beautiful, unique. You really have got to play this course!
Golf course is great
Beautiful golf course, I would do yourself a favor and find out if it's gonna be windy the day you plan on playing. The course plays super tough, so tough it can be unbearable. I mean we are talking steady 30mph winds gusting to 45+. You just can't tell because it's about an hour away from Vegas. Aside from that they have a small simple club house as well as bar and grill area. The course is beautiful, the driving range is crazy ridiculous. You could say it's like a smaller version of the Brandon dunes driving range. The reason for the 4 star rating, while they excelled at the overall golf experience, I felt the customer service was just okay. It was not consistent, pro shop staff was nice, outside service and bar and grill area was lacking friendliness. Lastly, the course could use some better markings as to which holes to go to. There were times we thought we were going the right way only to find out we were wrong.
Nice course. Was about 1hr 10 mins from the strip. A bit of a drive and really dark if you leave late. The course is hidden from the main freeway and as you drive, you start to think where on earth is a golf course in this desert and canyons. Well it does exist. The price is very reasonable considering what you get at around $110 pp and the greens were in good condition in Oct when we played. Giving it 4 stars because the starter was a bit rude because we were 10 mins late to the tee time. Considering we just flew in, drove over an hour to get there right after our flight and grab a quick hotdog and beers at the clubhouse, he could have been a little nicer. A simple, “hey you guys are late and you have to follow the group I let in front” would have been acceptable. We were there to have fun and enjoy the day. Main clubhouse gentleman was really friendly though.
Great golf course, but club house etc. Is just a trailer.
Not a single Coyote on the course. Defiantly a Jack in the box con by none other than Nickleson himself.
Greens were really good.
Beautiful course. Amazing to see such a well maintained course out in the middle of nowhere. Many good looking holes on the course, but #9 and #18 are ridiculous. So happy I was told about this course and was able to play it on such a nice day. I'm also glad I was able to see this course before the holes are lined with houses.
Awesome course and a great practice facility. Staff is very friendly and accomodating, from the Pro Shop to the Marshals, and the food staff. The best way to enjoy this course is to play early and then reround for free!
The course was impeccable shape! The staff treated our whole family dignity and respect. Can't wait to come back when it's a little nicer!
Coarse, scenery and ranger were fantastic. Kyle in the pro shop had a bad attitude and was not to friendly/accommodating especially since my son and I travel across the country to play here.
Well worth the trip. High level golf with challenging greens and surrounds. Conditions were excellent with greens running smooth and fast. Fairways had some room, but had strategic positioning. Big driving range and practice green. A true green oasis in the desert.
EXCELLENT
Nice course. Great service.
Great course
Fantastic course, scenery is mind-blowing and course is in great shape.... so what more could you ask for, you ask? .... Well, I was very disappointed in the clubs choice to use gasoline golf carts instead of electric carts. You drive for an hour into literally the middle of nowhere and you are rewarded with crisp mountain air, jaw-dropping canyon & desert backdrops..... which is suddenly and jarringly disrupted by noisy and clumsy sounding engines and gasoline fumes. Are you kidding me!!?? Such a small detail, but for me really threw a wrench into what is otherwise a pristine atmosphere & environment. And the carts look new too!!! Really REALLY poor and short-sighted investment decision by otherwise what seems like a great golf team over there at Coyote Springs...
Beautiful and difficult course
Fastastic golfing experience.
Golf course in itself is a great 4 star, can be slow near weekends . Staff is extremely good with what they do in course operation. Well maintained and fun to play.
A little gem tuck away outside of Las Vegas. Challenging track that will surely test your skills... Well worth the drive!
Great course and at a great price
Really nice course. Club house could have been better but course was top notch. Good people work there too.
