Fun track a must play out here had a great day!
Had two very good breakfasts here and the prices were cheap! Awesome views from the restaurant. Would love to golf here some day. The course looks amazing!
Very good golf course, probably third best in Mesquite behind Wolf Creek and Oasis. Restaurant has a good, not great selection of beer on tap but the food is average at best and service is below average.
My friends and I do an annual golf trip to Mesquite every year and we just got back yesterday. Conestoga is always on the play list along with Coyote Springs and Wolf Creek and we rotate a fourth course, this year playing the Oasis Palmer course. Having said that, this review is about the experience at Conestoga compared to the other courses. We've been coming to Conestoga annually for the last 6 years. Over the last two years we've found the experience to be deteriorating. Most specifically, the lack of water for players on the course. We were told there would be a water cooler to fill up with water every three holes, but that wasn't the case. There was no beverage cart service on the course. We look forward to seeing Phil out there each year, but this year, nothing. No beverage cart service at all. There used to be a ranger out there on the course checking on you, offering you a cool wet towel to beat the heat, usually mango scented or something, which was a really nice touch. Not this year. There was someone there to clean my clubs after the round, but that's not what I really needed out there in in the 110 degree heat. The course was in good condition and well maintained and always a treat to play on. As an overall experience, it was disappointing compared to what we've grown accustomed to in years' past and we might consider replacing Conestoga on our annual trip to Mesquite next time.
I just went to the restaurant, but the whole place seems really nice.
Course is in excellent shape after the overseed...customer service at the highest level...one of the nicest and fun courses in southern Nevada.
They hype is real. I don't know if I've played a better maintained course. One thing I sorely underestimated was playing target-golf. Keep that in mind when you play this course. Also, it does play a little slow. The marshal could probably do a better job of helping groups keep pace of play.
Very nice staff at the fitness center
Course in great shape but greens a bit slower than they appear. Tee time was 1 & played in right @ 4 hours but it does get dark early so played last 2-holes in near darkness!
fun challenge golf course. it was in great shape
Wonderful well maintained golf course
A fun course, well maintained and enough of a challenge to give you a test.
Beautiful
Great course and staff
Great golf
Played in mesquite for the first time last week and thought that this course was easily a better value then Wolf Creek. Restaurant had friendly professional staff working in it with speedy service. Personally I thought the course was the best in Mesquite. Wolf Creek gets all the attention but don't skip over this one. Views and conditions were amazing.
they have a nice bartender
Nice restaurant and an awesome golf course!!!!
Wonderful golf course. Great golf staff. Very friendly.
Beautiful course, one of the best in mesquite
Lunch..great
Course in great shape customer service was awesome.
Nice course and in great condition. Hit straight here!!
Unique layout and interesting holes.
This course was challenging and fun. Staff was very friendly. The food and service was delightful.
Great service.
This is a review on the restaurant. Very good food and very reasonable prices. Friendly staff and very clean and elegant. Great place overall!
What a beautiful course. The front nine is a bit quirky in the canyon, but gorgeous. Best greens we have played on in our week long trip. Highly recommend!!
Great food great views!
Absolutely terrific! Played in July, they showed up every 3 holes offering ice and water, drinks, etc. Will come back agsin. Course was in great shape, especially for July!!
I’ve played hundreds of courses across the country and this is one of my all time favorites. It’s in great shape throughout. The fairways are wide and in nearly perfect condition. It’s challenging, yet fun to play and has great views. The staff is also very welcoming and friendly. I’d highly recommend playing here.
Beautiful course and priced just right
Beautiful course.
Perfect condition. Great views. Classy club house
Minor details aside, it’s a beautiful track with some fantastic views of mountains, mesas, and the desert. If you have time to play it while you’re in town to play Wolf Creek, by all means stop by and check it out.
First time playing Conestoga and I enjoyed the layout for the most part. There are a couple of quirky holes that are tough to understand even with the nice maps provided, but that is offset by the gorgeous views and the weaving of the holes through the Mesquite canyons. The course was in great shape. The people working there were excellent. The one drawback was the pace of play...Ugggghhhh.
Difficult with blind the shots but one or the most beautiful golf courses I've ever seen
Great course people not so much
Beautiful greens.
Good times, tough course!
Very nice challenging course, great views
We were the only ones in the restaurant and could never find our server. A steak was ordered rare and was very well done. Server could have a good day for tips but she blew it big time!
Great course! Always fantastic shape, great service and amazing design.
Greens were still recovering from a recent aeration.
Beautiful layout views are stunning really enjoyed it a bit tough but still worth the trip!!!
Played the course in late october and enjoyed it very much. My wife and I are from Georgia and travel west to play several times a year.we enjoy the western courses very much and Conestoga rates as one of our favorites.
Great course even in the summer
What is better - The golf or the views at The Conestoga. I think of it as the fun and fair course in Mesquite Nevada. Our October golf group (Big Sky Tournament - 28 golfers) always votes it on the must play list. Score Early and Often: Starts out gentle, then tests you with challenging par 3's and par5's on the front. Scorable back 9 and the great views get even better. Distinctive that they use wagon wheels for the 150 yard markers; love that. The conestoga has very sophisticated green complexes, but fair. The greens are always fast and in great shape. Best tip, study the "yardage book", it is full of tips for playing each hole and the maps show you the forced carry areas. My tip, keeping it on the green grass (straight) is better than being long at Conestoga.
Wonderful club. Interesting holes. Men's forward tees play more like 110 Slope than 128. Gals loved jade tees Greens very honest but slow. Traps were not good
Just a nice place.
Very challenging course.
Really fantastic experience here. I only rock a star because the course had some strange greens. Felt like they were brand new or something, but they've likely grown in by now. This should have been posted about 2 years ago.
Awesome course
Best French toast
Loved it!
Great golf experience. Course conditions and staff, excellent!
Great atmosphere and food.
Awesome
Impressive place all around, from the grounds and courses to the homes & views.
Love this course will be playing there on the 12th of Feb can't wait
I built there network out there one of the best golf course
Great elevations and long bomber ranges. Go there!!
Masterful design, one of the best courses in the country.
Very well-kept. Wide open fairways. More player friendly than Wolf Creek. Highly recommend playing at least once. Once you play, you'll be sure to want to play it again in the future.
Conestoga was our first visit of a beautiful weekend playing golf with friends. The course was in beautiful shape making it a great choice of destination. A wonderful annual get away during the winter with warm temperatures in the high 60's. A special plus were the Balloons flying above. As a golfer, if you haven't had a chance to visit yet, it's a must.
Great golf course.
Excellent venue
Amazing golf course and very gracious and thoughtful staff which is hard to find at nice courses! Keep it up!
The food here is horrible. The cook cant even make a salad. I had a salmon salad and the salmon was so salty I had to send it back. My husband had the crispy chicken salad and the croutons were bigger than the chicken. So many croutons and too much dressing. My friends had sandwiches with bacon and the bacon was so overcooked they couldn't eat it. It ruin the whole sandwich. UNACCEPTABLE! We try to support the club because we live here but you need to step up your game. I wont be bringing my guest here again until I hear better things.
Our annual golfcation added this course this year for the first time based on recommendations I received during the US open at Erin Hills. To be quite honest, the fact that we hadn’t played it previously in our ten years is a disappointment. A wonderful layout, amazing food at the clubhouse prior to teeing off, beautiful scenery on almost every hole, along with extremely helpful work staff. The greens rolled truer than most courses in Vegas. Lots of risk reward options. Evan though we have a time share for our home base in Vegas for the week, we will be doing a stay and play to pick up this and their neighbor at Wolf Creek annually now.
Great course. Challenging, but not outrageous. Really enjoyable.
Very well maintained and challenging course. The fairways are generously wide but all of the greens are well protected by deep bunkers. Good layout with some great views too. If you're in Mesquite for golf - play this course (try to get hooked up with a Sun City resident to get a great rate).
Course is amazing!! Locals are jerks
Expensive and a very long day!! To slow but a very nice course! Easy 6 hour round!!
Course looks beautiful and reviews look good I wish i could get someone to pick up the phone so I could get more information and book some tee times.
Gorgeous course! Challenging yet fun desert location. If your looking for a quiet town to play some challenging courses Mesquitte is where you want to visit
Good lunch menu
Great golf experience. A difficult course for my playing skills.
Great Golf Course that is Poorly Managed! We were told at 10:00 tee time that there was a 30 minute delay. The sun rose at 6:15 am. The 30 minute delay was actually over an hour delay. Play was very, very slow. There was a Marshall, but he did NOTHING to speed up the play. At the turn we requested a Chicken Wrap and an iced drink To Go, Unfortunately their elaborate bar and restaurant were not capable to Deliver in a timely manner at the turn. Unfortunately because of Mismanagement and Very Overpriced . . .Our 18 holes of golf lasted over 6 hours?!?!? WE WILL NEVER RETURN! Very sad to see what an incredible course will die because of mismanagement!
Fantastic course. The front nine is amazing as every hole weaves through the desert canyons, and the back nine has more of the same. Service was great, and the course its self was in perfect shape. Go book a tee time!
We have lunch there occasionally, usually cool, quiet and enjoyable. Great views of the golf course if you set outside or at least by a window.
Visiting from Colorado and eat at a lot of nice restaurant's 2 million dollars could not buy the staff that works here....dont change a thing. Food goes real good with the manager and staff that has GREAT customer service. It will be the first place I will come back to mesquite for.....I will let you know about the course after Tuesday.
Best track in Mesquite for the money. Great layout, practice area is nice, pro shop friendly, bar area comfortable. Will return every time.
A beautiful day in sunny Mesquite, NV.
Top notch desert style public course. The grass is a beautiful green and well groomed while the surroundings are done with native plants. The greens are fairly firm and reasonably fast. The restaurant is also wonderful and has a great chef and staff.
So glad to be back at Conestoga and my amazing peeps here. The course is in fabulous shape after the reseeding process. A jewel in the desert.
Ranger JD totally unprofessional. Will never play there again. Tried to escalate a non issue.
Not happy they didn't tell me about the greens being punched after asking twice. It is a great track when not under maintenance. Sour about the last visit foe sure.
Gorgeous course tucked away against the hills in Mesquite. Gorgeous red rock area. Clubhouse is nicely done, food and drink at least 4 star for a golf resort. Worth the drive from St. George or elsewhere in Utah to our neighbor state.
I've played over 60 courses all over Utah and Nevada and this ranks in the top 3. Excellent course!
This is a really nice golf course. Great views
Incredible layout! Beautiful views and in every aspect worthy of 5 stars. Holding it back was not the staff outside but the lack of service in the clubhouse. I belong to a country club and understand image and the need to feel exclusive! I still think even though this place was off the hook it tried too hard to be something it's not by acting pompous and trying to be something it's not. The clubhouse is small and needs another 2 million into it! BUT before it needs new facilities Conestoga needs to add an awesome staff to the already perfect course. Lastly and maybe the reason for the long review are the golf Club's neighbors overlooking the course. That group of trash head, loud mouths almost prompted a 3 stars on again a 5 star course. Too bad nobody can kick those idiots out of the neighborhood! I think everyone should play here it was so well kept and worth the expensive green fees. Minus half the staff the terrible "mens league" that golfed before us and the rude Mesquite locals you have 5+ Stars golf club!! I loved the course and the up keep!!
I am a new resident and have joined the club. I have played 2 rounds of golf and the staff extremely helpful. The food and service in the 1880 Grill terrific. Looking forward to more golf outings.
Fun place to go eat and take family and friends when they come to Mesquite
I can’t believe with all my travels to the area I just played it. This will be on the rotation from now on. Love the course, layout is fun and challenging, service is a 10 (it wasn’t even busy but they kept the cart person- that is not common, but it was super appreciated) and the food was very reasonable. Can’t wait to come back.
This place is awesome they all ways have great food and the service is great
Target golf smallish greens. Very fair course. Great conditions and staff. Will play again.
Super course always in great condition
One of the nicest courses in Mesquite and Southern Utah. Very friendly staff......Everybody went the extra step!
Best Golf course in Mesquite Nevada!
This place is beautiful!
Great track! I highly recommend it!!
Food was delicious, price was reasonablr. Service was excellent and the venue was spotless
Nice course
We have been down to Mesquite a few times now, and everytime I'm down there this course is the high light of my trip! Beautiful golf course with amazing views. Definitely would recommend!
Great course, love the senic views, layout of the course is challenging but very fair.
You have to play this course to appreciate the beauty of this place, it’s like it was flown in and just dropped in the middle of this terrain. Absolutely beautiful but don’t let that fool you, it’s a Championship course for a reason. Our group of 9 had an great time being challenged by this jewel of a Golf Course. Rick Jackson (Director of Sales), my Sailor’s thanks you and your staff for allowing us to experience your Golf Course. The food was great and the staff was very welcoming continue to do what you guys do and if we are ever in the area again we will definitely play the course again.
Great course ... Play it.
Great breakfast
Amazing course and fun layout. The bar and grill also seek exceptional food.
A must play at least twice. Great views and greens
Great course !!! Beautiful... everyone was very nice specially the Marshall, he keep bringing us water bottles the whole time we were playing, also provided us with this cool amazing mango infused towels
Had a great time in mesquite with our outing
Favorite course in Mesquite. Scoreable, not too severe. Good service, good restaurant.
Nice course and good food. Not much more needs said. A definite A experience for the avid golfer and family.
I dont play golf, I go for the food and the views.
Beautiful golf course.
Gorgeous canyon golf and exceptional staff. Highly recommended.
Great golf course. Lot's of canyons and challenging holes.
Beautiful course and great food.
Beautiful, but difficult, blind shots required. Directions from green to next tee poor.
We played various courses in Mesquite and Conestoga has my favorite. We played 36 holes there Saturday. Even though there was an hour long frost delay the marshalls and starters were able to help us get both rounds in. We had breakfast and dinner at the clubhouse and the food was good. While on the course there was a drink cart every couple holes. As for the golf the course was excellent; beautifully maintained and a great layout. If I lived in Mesquite it would be my home course. We will definitely hit it up again next year!
Good course. Good scenery. I liked the grass better at Falcon Ridge personally. Pace of play was a little slow here compared to what I am use to and like.
Great golf course and club house
Great shape. Fun, challenging course. Five hour round, but otherwise great.
Gorgeous design, tricky holes. An Experience that makes any day an Event. Beautiful beautiful, Beautiful.
Loved the layout and appearance. Best course we played during our week in the area.
Excellent service and food. Chef Ian is the BEST!!! FRANK ,a local yokel, 4th or 6th visit and it is always better than the last visit. Thanks.
The course was spectacular it had great views and nice greens the staff were very nice and courteous. My only complaint would be not enough restrooms. There were only two of them
Had friends join me for my Birthday Celebration. Waitress was accomodating and made the celebration run smoothly.
Fun golf course in Mesquite. If you're looking for someplace to play, this is a good bet for a challenge.
Amazing! Best golf course in mesquite not named Wolf Creek
Conestoga is a great golf course. A lot of fun shots to play here with a good variety of hazards. Course was in excellent shape when I played. Would like to visit this one again.
Good food
Well kept challenging course
This is my favorite course to play in Mesquite!
Great food at the 1880
Great golf course!!! My wife and played and had a great time. Though tough it is also fair and very pretty. The staff was friendly and the food at the restaurant was very good! Would play here again .
Gorgeous.
Graaaaaat course and graaaaat staff
Wonderful golfing experience,everything always perfect.
Very nice course and the staff was great. Course was in excellent condition. Great weather.
Very nice course.
Not a bad course, but not a great course. Not a long hitters course. Lots of fairways that run out.... And you have no idea that they do... Until you are looking for your ball.
Great layout and will be really nice when the greens come around in a few weeks. Love the course and will come back.
Great course, with wonderful views. Just the right amount of difficulty to challenge yourself. The 1880 grille is fantastic. Their palate is a bit advanced, with the items they use in their foods. However, it's still good. And a great getaway to go watch the morning/afternoon football games (or baseball, golf, any other sports)
Golfing here was an awesome experience. The layout and views at this course are phenomenal. It's worth the trip if you're in the area to golf here. I highly recommend.
Great place to golf.
