This isn’t the toughest course around but it sure has grown up over the years. If you haven’t played it for awhile go back as it will surprise you. The maintenance is top notch with well kept greens and fairways. The courses biggest drawback is a lack of creativity with a number of holes feeling like clones. Still, a nice track for an exceptional price.

Mahoney is nice course for the average golfer. The best thing about golf in Lincoln, ne is the price. 18 holes is about $20.00 to walk, obviously more if you ride.

Straightforward course where you can hit it all over creation and still have a shot. Spent 4 years there as an assistant pro and loved it. The staff has changed quite a bit since I was there but the head pro was my old roommate and his staff is pretty outstanding so I'd give it a try. The course is ALWAYS in great shape.

A nice course, kept up well. Unfortunately they don't know how to run a course. Every time I play by myself, they start me off on the front, or the back, and when I make the turn there are several groups of 4, 5 or even 6 players in front of me that I now have to wait on. This happens on every city course in Lincoln that I've played as a single. So if you're a single and have a lot of time, go for it.

This course is one of my top 5! First off the staff is incredible they are willing to help any level of golfer. JB is a great head pro and very helpful in learning the game. Jay Carstens is one of the best instructors in Nebraska. He can help you break barriers in golf like you wouldnt believe. The course is always in beautiful shape and the greens roll incredibly true. Watch out for hole 8 it can be a bit of a trick, as a bogey can certainly feel like a great par. Hole 10, and 16 are also challenging in there own regards. As for hole 1, 7, 11, and 15 let the driver rip through the air and prepare for an egeal or birdy look at the end of the fairway. Enjoy this course the players out there are some of Lincoln's most enjoyable people to be paired up with if playing as a single. A great course to walk or ride. 5 star public course!
