REVIEWS OF Bridger Creek Golf Course IN Montana

James Willich

Fun course. Needs an ATM in the clubhouse though.

Doug Ireland

I love the Bridger creek course. Between the 2 public courses in the Bozeman and 4 corners area Bridger is just more enjoyable. The course has a lot more trees, water and turns where cottonwood is basically straight back and forth. The customer service in the pro shop at cottonwood is a little friendlier than that of Bridger creek which is usually staffed with younger employees that are not always the friendliest but they are capable and good at their jobs. I would give Bridger 4.5 stars if possible but as it is not possible to do a half star I think Bridger creek is closer to 5 stars than 4.

This has definitely been the greatest overall experience I have had at a golf course. I am on my last day of a trip and I'm really glad I finished here at Bridger Creek. Mark is probably the nicest person you could ever meet, the staff seemed really great. The atmosphere here is unbelievable, and the course is beautiful. I honestly can't believe how reasonable the rates are here. I have played many, many courses all over Montana, and this is easily the best for the buck. The greens are amazing! The course is not an easy one, you earn every par, and you have to hit almost every shot sweet to get birdies. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves the game. I will definitely be back, hopefully a couple times a year. It is definitely worth the 200 mile drive!

On a recent visit to Bozeman I decided to play a round of golf at the Bridger Creek Golf Course. From the moment I arrived until I left the parking lot a few hours later the experience was fantastic. I spent the first few moments enjoying the wonderful view of the mountains from the sidewalk in front of the clubhouse. Mark, the pro and owner, provided me with a superb set of rental golf clubs and then directed me to the driving range where his brother, Pat, gave me some tips for improving my golf swing. I joined three other gentlemen for the round-one from Colorado, one from Minnesota, and one young man from Bozeman. We played a very enjoyable 9 holes on a beautiful course which is challenging, fair, and very well kept. I can highly recommend the Bridger Creek Golf Course for anyone travelling through the Bozeman area. I'm sure Bozeman residents are already aware of this fine jewel in their city.

Mark Keehr

Nice course. Back nine starts out significantly different from the front nine. Water ( Creek) comes into play on several holes. Also several ponds to negotiate.

Ramon Quintero

Best place to golf in Bozeman so far! I played there September 22nd. Staff and course were outstanding! Showed up there where they welcomed me, paired with a three some and did not have to wait! Beautiful Mountain View, course in great shape and not expensive at all. Will come back to play next year while visiting Montana.

It's nice to go there because of the open space. I wish people would leash their dogs in parking lot! A big dog followed me right to my car and paid no attention to his owner calling him. Not good.

My kiddo (13) was just introduced to golf at the Bridger Creek golf camp. Best $50 I've ever spent. My son really enjoyed learning to play and the instructors we're awesome. He won't be spending the summer parked in front of the TV!

Audrey Jean Matick

Wide open course. Domed greens can be challenging/frustrating. Gets a lot of play, but doesn't show it. Greens in good shape and fairways relatively lush. Can play slow on weekend afternoons.

Bridger creek has some of the best views of any course in and around Bozeman. The course offers a great way to view the Bridger Mountains, and Bridger Creek. Bridger Creek actually meets Bozeman Creek behind the #2 green which turns into the East Gallatin. There are only two public courses in Bozeman and each offers something unique. In my mind Bridger Creek wins for overall positive experience, and it's proximity to town and the mountains. The best time to play to beat the crowds is early in the morning or later on in the evening. However if you are playing as a single (which I usually am) they can always find a spot for you to pair up with other friendly golfers. From the white tail deer, to the blue cranes, to the occasional moose and black bear, Bridger creek is a win for avid golfers and amateurs alike.

Beautiful course that is fun for players of all abilities. The back 9 in particular is stunning. Watch and listen for sandhill cranes. The staff is very professional, and the PGA guys there are always helpful. I was fitted for irons and wedges and remain very happy with the experience. I have played as a single, with family groups, and in events and can't think of anything to complain about, other than my own variable play, of course. Must be time for another lesson ... The other courses in the area are good, but Bridger Creek gets my Bozeman recommendation for the overall golf experience.

I have golfed at Bridger Creek for many years and I enjoy my experience more with each and every season. The course stays in beautiful shape all summer and into the Fall, and the staff have always been very courteous and helpful in addressing any of my needs. I really hope Fritz in the pro shop is able to stick around in future seasons, he is one of my favorite employees to have worked at the course.

Don't let the short yardage fool you, this course can be tricky. Nice greens and fairways. The layout is a little different and takes a round or two to get used to. Overall a good track.

Hey “L” There’s always someone who has to dwell on at least one negative aspect of an experience. Really not trying to be rude here but do you think it serves any purpose other than your own satisfaction to point out a minor issue that you incurred at a business in what I can only assume was otherwise a very fun day of golf or relaxation.I notice you were not injured which I am very grateful of, considering your issue, but I’m going to go out on a limb here and say you saw, just an estimate, probably 100% more uplifting and positive aspects on a golf course this day green grass, trees, ponds, golfing, and just a joy of nature verses one human’s mistake of not having their dog properly leashed or posibily just loosing hold of it, honestly not sure, I was not there obviously, but i will bet the owner and employees were not aware of the issue and all you really do is hurt them by bringing up what turned out to be a very trivial incident which I am positive they would have rather not have happened but as we all know stuff does sometimes and its out of most of our hands for a brief moment. In the kindest possible text font I can use :) Please, you have got to lighten up a bit on the businesses. They thrive off of comments and feed families with income that potentially can be lost over scares. This world is just becoming inceasingly more negative now that every upset individual can bring a cloud upon everything nice via the internet. I did see you made a nice comment about the establishment which was kind but bringing up an issue that resolved itself more than likely before a manager could help and believe it or not it was out of his or her control. Customers make mistakes all the time and most will learn from personally if its potentially dangerous. So no need to pull a business into the issue resolved with an opinion of the property that will serve no other purpose but give you possible vendication for something they didn’t do. Do you mind if I ask you when you make a mIstake how much you like for someone to come tell you that you need to pay more attention because however its worded thats what people hear. Your comment will change no one’s mind if they want to golf here. It is a waste of productive time. Owning a business is an extremely touchy venture. Sa you go outside leaving behind the 100 other duties you have just on a whim to go police a possible dog whos owner is now going to be upset with you and will more than likely rebound their anger to you, who is caught inbetween yet another rock and a hard place. Now you get to go back to work and try not to let it ruin the rest of your day because believe me if you have never owned a business, maybe you have even better, any business this size you have those hard places coming at you from everyside. The easiest to stomach are inanimate objects that are not in your control The hardest are the hateful people who will run u down purposfully when it was once your joy to help but little by little they take what made u once feel worthly and happy and seemingly enjoyingly turn it to disillusionment and darkness for you for some reason unbenounced to my knowledge of a multitude of people. People have seemed to become so entitled which will always go ufilled that it seems to me more take a dark pleasure in pulling others down to the depths. This society is changing. Anyone above the age of 40 whos paying attention knows it. We used to be kind, willing to understand more situations and all that arose from petty conflict and socisl abuse and its reality. It seems to this one we are headed down a dangerous path with all our petty complaints instead of our kudos to the ones who serve our needs. I hope people will read this and if nothing else realize that these review complaints are a tiny symotom of whats becoming of us. We will be remembered by only two words in the end. Good riddance. Lets get back to nice if we can. I know this is a very weird place for this diatribe but I see so much freedom for hate online. Was this always us or are we a product of the negativity we see daily?

Just learning to golf but have had nothing but good experiences with Bridger Creek. Had a few lessons with Mark and he was extremely helpful. He took the time to follow up and write detailed notes from our sessions so I could continue to improve my game. Would recommend BC for their friendly staff and great atmosphere and would definitely recommend Mark for anyone looking to improve their game!
