Played in a threesome in less than 4 hours this morning. Course was in really good shape and the greens were a little slower than usual, which is good. Very enjoyable day and the staff was very friendly. Always arrange to play here when in town.

Used to be a great course and great experience. I called three weeks in advance to book a group of 8 guys. It was never mentioned to me that 4 of the greens were under construction which is 100% inexcusable. The pro shop should have advised us, or provided winter rates, or offered some sort of concession. Rather than do this, we encountered a really crabby old fella in the pro shop, followed by receipt checking as soon as we walked out of the pro shop as if we were trying to sneak on the course or something and then the cherry on top was paying for 18 greens and only getting to play 14 (and don't let me forget cart path only when it wasn't even that wet!). Don't spend your time or money on this course again until the management is ready to be up front with the players spending money there!!!! These guys think they are running Troon North in Scottsdale or something.....what a joke.

Over priced!!! Course Marshall was very rude. Gave us trouble for being 8 minutes to slow on the front nine. We finished 18 in under 4 hours with 4. Would not recommend!!!

I felt the course was in great condition. It has very forgiving fairways and rough. However, my whole experience was ruined by the marshal there. We are not scratch golfers and may have been a few minutes slow but we were not egregiously slow. I can understand having tee times and trying to manage that schedule but trying to enforce a time for when you hit the turn and then be done by is ridiculous. I would have understood if there was a tournament later that day but to be reminded 3 times and very rudely at that about our pace is inexcusable. This was the first time I played the course and WILL be the last time I ever play here. I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone and solely based upon my experience with the personell. There are better and more friendlier options available within a 20 minute drive. Have a good day!

Terrible service. I patiently waited on the phone over 10 minutes because their computer system was down. Once they were back up he was incredibly rude and cut me off before I could finish a sentence. Stating sir I’m in a hurry. Not a great way to handle clients. There are other courses that a actually appreciate your business. I would find those.

My husband and I got married here May 2013. Through most of our planning process we dealt with Lori. The week before our wedding she accepted another job so Lisa was going to be in charge (even though Lori said she would be there for our wedding). For our rehearsal Lori just lined up our wedding party and that was it. It had been raining and she didn't want us out on the green which was fine. She spent a whole 5 minutes with us then went to attend to the wedding party for the night after us, and they got a lot more attention. I shrugged it off at the time. I had sent Lori pictures of how the decorations were to be set up, but on the day I got a call saying that nobody knew what to do with all the decorations as Lori had not forwarded those pictures and no one had heard from her. My mother and a few other family members were there to decorate the cake table and gift table (which had been told to Lori on two separate occasions) so they called me and asked for some direction. Apparently while they were working on this one of the staff members said "Well if I would have known they were going to be here I wouldn't have f*ing come in this early." Who says that? On top of that Lisa gave them attitude about being there and when Lori finally showed up she was hateful to them as well! My mother said the the arch they set up on the green for us to get married in front of had tulle and ivy hanging off of it all over the place, so my grandmother had to go out and fix it! When she did they saw that the tulle didn't go all the way down so my mom asked if there were plants that could be set in front of it so that it would look nicer for our pictures. My mom offered to pay, and they said it would probably be between $20 and $40 dollars. At the end of the night Lisa came up and asked my mom for $117! On top of all of that Lori walked around our wedding in shorts which doesn't look nice in the picture of me and my father leaving the clubhouse to walk down the aisle! It was not professional at all.

I golf here every Friday morning. I’m thinking of buying the membership as the cost is probably cheaper in the long run. The good: The course is usually in great condition, the grass is always cut nice, the greens are in good shape, and the fairways are open. The bad: The course can play long, so if you’re new to golf, this will be challenging. If you hit it in the rough, you may lose your ball. (Keep it straight). The hole placement on the greens are usually incredibly difficult. As if the guy creating the hole placement woke up in a bad mood and decided to take it out of the golfers. I’ve learn to read these greens better and instead of 4 putting, I can usually 2 putt. I highly recommend playing here.

I have never been treated with such disrespect! We had a foursome playing their twighlight special asked Tom what time we had to be in he told us 7:45. At 7:35 we were getting ready to tee off on 17 and he pulled his cart right on the tee box in front of the ball and said "you're done you need to leave!" When we told him you told us 7:45 he looked at us and said "Bull S#!t!". We asked for his name and told him we would be contacting management. We told him all he had to do was politely tell us it was time to wrap it up and we would have finished. We told him that his golf course had just lost four customers because of the way he had treated us and he shrugged and said "I have run off hundreds of others!" What kind of business can run like this? I will be contacting management and hopefully they can resolve this issue. The course was in great shape and it is a shame that a RUDE employee can ruin a great course.

This is a very nice, links-style course, with some of the best, biggest greens in the St. Louis area. Good putting and chipping greens, as well as driving range. The pro, Don Gorin, is really good. My only complaint is the price. While the regular price is comparable to the other top public courses, they do not seem to drop the prices much, seasonally.

Quick greens and playability make this a good couse. Pricey but it's close to everyone. Can be a tad slow but you can watch planes take off and land. Solid course.

I was also in the foursome mentioned by a couple of golfers who commented over the last 24 hours. As they said, the course and most of the staff was great...except for one of the marshals. Not only did he bark at us for being behind by 10 minutes at the turn. But then sat on the 10th tee box waiting for us to hit, which was unnerving and rude to say the least. We were only a minute or two behind when we went in to get food at the turn and that is why we were 10 minutes off by the time we got onto the 10th hole. In addition to that, nobody waited on us the entire day, so rushing us was overkill and unnecessary. Had it not been for that, the reviews from all of us would have been positive. Maybe some customer service training for him would go a long way.

Course is in good condition (July 2019). They are working hard to keep the greens nice in the heat, they are receptive but fast right now. The rough is grown out nicely. Overall, this is a pretty easy course that is very forgiving for all skill levels. It’s a fun course and good for the price. The layout can be a bit boring at times, at lot of the holes are very similar, straight holes with not a lot of hazards. It’s still a fun course with birdie opportunities. If you like this course, you could check out The Quarry at Crystal Springs, comparable conditions with a more interesting layout.

Played golf there yesterday. Course is in better shape than I've seen it in years. Despite the heat this summer the fairways and especially the greens are in fantastic shape. Played 18 holes in less than 4 hours. Would highly recommend.

I was here for a wedding so I didn't get out on the course. It is a bit hidden behind the airport on a winding road which was difficult to find. The club house has seen better days. The wait staff was friendly but the bartender was pretty inexperienced and couldn't make basic cocktails without a cheat sheet. It was a very warm day and we were mostly outside under a tent. Overall the experience was pretty good but definitely had some downsides.

Great golf course! It’s an extremely nice course for what you pay to play. I would highly recommend this course for anyone looking for nicer greens and fairways. The greens are a little tough for beginners but it’s a great course and you can have a lot of fun.
