You may have noticed that it reaches an opinions average is really high, and it's founded on a very high number of scores, so we can think that the assessment is quite credible. If people have bothered to give their opinion when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to place tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Golf corresponds to the category of Golf course.
Nice for holes in one.
This was my first time playing Forest Park's golf course. I enjoyed myself. Yardage is accurate. The greens were being aerated so it wasn't a true metric of how they'll play mid season. I'll be coming back.

They have three different 9 hole courses. The course was in great shape and the facilities/banquet hall was very nice. The only suggestion I have is better signage on the course. If you don't play there often it's easy to get confused on where you're going.
Home away from home since 1979 ☀️
Best park in the country!

We played 9 holes on Hawthorne course. It was in great shape we never waited the tee boxes and greens were in great shape will definitely play again.
Great Time Here
Most excellent
Yup
For an urban golf course it's not bad. However it gets crowded, and it is not overly challenging.
Watch out for golf balls
Very good urban course located in the number one rated urban park in the country. 27 challenging holes for all levels of players. Good overall condition of course.
course was in great shape for all for all the rain in the past 30 days.
Great experience
Not the best car path but nice course
Nice course. Unfortunately people don't like to fix their divot marks. Can be overbooked at times.
vast meadows
Very good. Greens were fast on Rosebud, in good shape.
Very nice court to play on
nice course well maintained. .great staff..par 70..best game ever..shot a 77..yes a 77 and I'm not waking up.lol
He is a thief
Man, we only played one of the 9-Hole courses. Quality and Condition was amazing, the staff was accommodating and friendly. Course played quick for being slightly busy.
Awesome mega golf course! In the back end heart of beautiful forest park. Very clean. Visible from few main streets. Free for all golfers. Cart rentals available. Caddies available for hire. Experience this golf outing a must
Beautiful
Very nice
In great condition.
Courses - Hawthorne & Redbud- had some water pools, but 90° rule in effect. $57.00 was steep for weekend rate. Tee'd off at 9AM and NO FOOD OR DRINK in Ruthie's at turn! Courses were in decent shape.
Great course. If you don't mind slow play. It is golf at it's most public. Can't beat the views. Great location.
Course was great but ill bring my own food and drinks next time if you are gonna have the slowest food and beverage service ever and then close early on a sunday afternoon. I won't even try to hide it."No outside food and drinks allowed." Good luck stopping me next time.
Love this place
Fun course that allows you build a little confidence in your game.
We love this golf club. Attended an event there last month, would be a great place for a wedding reception. Only complaint is the lack of parking, but there probably isn't much they can do about that.
Really fun course. The course wraps around sites of the 1904 World's Fair and museums. Scenic with some quirky holes. Course gets packed and slow play is a problem.
Great day for GOLF!
I love this course. For a public course in a large historic city park, it is well-maintained and laid out in a way that plays well for both men and women. Only a few water hazards, and reasonable placing of sand traps. All for a great price. Seniors can buy an inexpensive annual card and get great discounts on regular greens fees.
At the Cascades falls actually.
Nice, fast greens
Great time, looking forward to trying rest of course.
Can't speak to the course itself, which I've yet to play, but this was an excellent venue for a wedding (not my own). The patio toward the back was ample space for the ceremony, and the space indoors was excellent for the reception. Very enjoyable experience.
I am one of the worst golfers in the history of golf when they talk about slice it was named after me but I enjoy Forest Park beautiful place to go after I finish I'll try to finish 18 holes I'll typically go to the park I need to play racquetball in handball is so much to do in Forest Park you can't tell me you can't have anything with the fun love it
Very well maintained. Friendly personnel. Wonderful views.
It's in great condition for the price especially seniors
Great place for golf
One of the nicest courses in St. Louis, although Dress code did not seem to be a concern nor pace of play. Expected better from a course as nice as this.
Do you want to experience as much stress as possible on your wedding? If so this is the place for you. When me and my wife decided to get married at the norman probstein golf course in forest park at first we were very happy. Everything was clicking and coming together. It all went downhill when in the middle they changed our wedding coordinator on us. Our first coordinator Amy was awesome and very accommodating of what we wanted in order to create our dream wedding. However due to the wedding rush we got changed to Liz. This was the worst thing that could have happened. She was very rude the entire time and spoke to me and my wife with an attitude. It wasn’t until our rush week that her true colors really stared to show. She attempted to charge us over $1000.00 3 days before the wedding for a pricing mistake she made. Then instead of owning up to the mistake she attempted to blame us for her own miscalculation. Talk about stress and anxiety! We had to call her out and threaten to go over her head to get her to honor the initial price provided. Unfortunately, the problems we had did not end there. During the rehearsal for the wedding despite being informed time and time again that Liz would be there to help us walk through the ceremony timeline Liz was no where to be seen and we were stuck outside with not even the lights left on. This was very disappointing as we as a group were very confused. We do not perform weddings day in and day out. This goes on to the day of the wedding where she was asking me, my wife, and the entire bridal party where people are suppose to be. If she was at the rehearsal as promised she would have known where everyone was suppose to be and how we wanted everyone to walk down. This caused even more stress on my wife which is unnecessary for a bride who has enough to deal with the day of her wedding. Liz had no concern for anything that we wanted only the timeline of events. She was very rude to everyone the entire day. She made promises that were not honored during our big day and was continually disrespectful to myself, my wife, our bridal party, and even our parents to the extent that she went up to the mother of the bride and told her that we were rude because the bridal party was running late taking photo’s. While she may do wedding’s every weekend we do not and wanted to make sure that we captured our day and did not miss out on any photo opportunities as we only get one shot at a perfect weeding. The list of stressful and immature actions performed by Liz goes on and on. If you want lots of stress and to be spoken to like a child then this is the place for you. I recommend taking your money elsewhere as there are much better places to have your special day that will give you the respect you deserve and help you fulfill your dream wedding. If you do make the horrible decision to get married her stay away from Liz.
It was a beautiful and spacious banquet area. I can see why so many weddings take place here. I would recommend this space to people looking for a large hall to host parties or events. There is also a long bar that can seat several people. All of the workers seemed very friendly.
Pretty epic style
Great golf course. Other than several lost golf balls (I tend to slice alot) and slower people in front of us it was a very enjoyable experience.
Fun Course, Nice Staff.
Another fine day. Course was in good shape for August. Love to play your courses
Great course
Good shape. Greens slow but smooth
Chucks work Christmas party
Good condition despite the heavy rains.
Beautiful greens beautiful course and club house staff was very helpful Thank you Forest Park Golf Course
This is one the best local 18 golf courses. Fun for the whole family and a great value. Nearby is the famous St. Louis Zoo and its free.
We walked Dogwood. The course was in excellent shape. We had a great time.
I would give you no stars for not letting our.................
Beautiful course. 3 9-hole courses keep it interesting.
Awesome Public course. Friendly staff and great pro sbop.
Looks okay to me
Beautiful
Loved it
Very friendly staff and excellent course conditions, beautiful scenery. Love it.
This course is fantastic. You definitely forget your smack dab in the center of the City of St. Louis. The greens are really fast and immaculate. I actually couldn't believe this was a public course. The Danforth Center has done a spectacular job of endowing this course and bring it back to life.
Great room
I love playing golf here. Best public course in the area.
I've played here several times when in town. Made mistake of playing on a Saturday morning. There was some sort of scramble tournament going on in front of uswhich slowed things down horribly. We never finished as we kept waiting for a group of 8 that were two holes in front of us with several holes open in front of them. No Marshalls were on the course to move things along. It is usually in very good condition for the amount of play it gets. Not long but hilly and has several old school design features like a square green and one with a valley in the middle. At least four sets of tees. Greens are receptive. Stomped about a 9 or 10. Some issues with unrepaired ball marks. We were also not told about the tournament in front of us and in fact the pro made it sound like the course was moving well. 6 hour pace.
The course is well kept, fairways are in very good condition and greens maintained, no dead spots. The location and scenery is nice. It is not a hard course to play, their are some water hazards and such, but most fairways are wide enough to be forgiving. This being said, I think it is over priced to play here. $39 to play on the weekday and $50 on the weekend seems steep for a municipal owned course. For this money there are nicer courses to choose from.
A great walk around Forest Park!
Greens were beat up - people, plz fix ur ball marks! - but otherwise nice layout
Great public course kept in great condition. 27 holes to choose from with great views of the park and museums.
For being early in the season it was in good shape
Great course in a great location. You can see the St. Louis skyline on this sunny course. It's centrally located, so very easy to get to.
Sam was polite upon check in treated my Grandson with great respect. Love the course and the greens will be great this year.
It's okay
Fantastic setting and course conditions. I will be back soon!
A great laid back public golf course. Affordable. There are three nine hole courses, each with a different feel to them. The location is very convenient if you live near the park. Gets busy at times but you can often walk onto twilight golf without a tee time.
Great course for a low price. It is well maintained and fairly challenging. Drink girl driving around is a plus. And being in forest park the scenery is amazing. Cons - being in the city, you will have to listen to cars honking (on redbud, not sure of other two). Fairways are close together, which will force you to wait on your hit for people playing on other fairways.
Renovated ten years ago and are in great shape. Three different 9 hole courses offer a good challenge for the average golfer.
Taking a walk
Excellent Fairways & Greens..Tough but fair...
You can pull out every club in the bag Redbud to dogwood and I'm pretty long off the tee so I'm usually driver to wedge
A beautiful gem in the heart of our city. Played in the Ronald McDonal House Golf Tourney, course was in great shape and the lunch and dinner provided was yummy.
Never been
Aside from golfing, we had a wedding reception here and it was a really wonderful experience. Everything was beautiful and worked out perfect.
Started playing at forest park in 1998. Enjoyed every round .
Simply beautiful place and one of a kind
Had a great time at the course. The course was in great condition and the staff was super friendly. Really enjoyed the lunch afterwards the Crush burgers are to die for.
Great course I enjoy it every year.
Had a good time
Enjoyed our round of 18 holes. Herschel West is the best!
Nice place.
Have golfed here multiple times. Course is generally in good shape.
