Excellent! Great shape for what it is... there are not 30 75k $ cars in the parking lot like a high end club but you couldn't tell by how great the coarse is. Great rolling greens and consistent fairway lies ... it will bring you back. I play better here than any other coarse. I counted 45 returned carts on a Saturday evening and there are two other courses within 10 miles so I am not the only one who chooses Timberton. Staff is great and I saw a pro giving lessons. They must love what they do. Prices are perfect and well worth the money.

The excellent tree-lined parkland layout contains a wealth of wonderfully crafted, memorable and challenging holes. Golf is great. just do not expect a hot dog at the turn. Although they claim they sell em..I've never seen one. Any-who...Turn food is at a minimum. so i suggest bringing your own sandwich. Otherwise, the golf is very nice, however, there is no starter or marshals.

Four stars I believe are generous. It's a beautiful course, don't get me wrong and its in great condition, however if you've never played this course before, come prepared to navigate the layout of each hole yourself because the score cards nor the tee box markers give you anything to go on. If you download the App before hand you may have better luck than we did. There was no bev cart, but there were water stations. Oh yeah, bring a ball washer too, cuz none of those are available either. Pleasant staff, Ok prices.

Was in Hattiesburg on vacation and called about coming out to play. It was just me and these folks went out of their way to accommodate me and set up a time when I could play. Pretty much had the course to myself. Great course and very challenging. Top notch in every way including the staff. A must play.

My brother and I played a few days ago on our way down to New Orleans. It was 38, windy, and raining. We were the only people on the course. It was great! The course was in very good condition for being the middle of winter. Greens were running very smooth. The staff was very friendly and welcomed us in. I would recommend this course to anyone heading to Hattiesburg or just passing by on their way to New Orleans. It is right off the interstate so there is almost no added travel time to the trip. I really enjoyed this place and hope to be back down that way soon!

Excellent course for the price I played it in winter conditions and the course was groomed very well. I took pictures because I thought the course looks very good. I would definitely recommend for anyone in town or visiting

Best public course in South Mississippi. This course is on par with all the private clubs, and better in some aspects, in Hattiesburg and the surrounding areas. I play here at least once a week and the staff is exceptional and the facilities are immaculate.
