An excellent golf destination. Our group of 16 from Memphis loved Old Waverly for our annual golf tournament. The food is excellent - order a BLT with a fried green tomato and pimento cheese. Staffing is very helpful and treats you like family. The cottages are easy and clean - very hard to complain about. The course was in perfect condition and was very fun to play several times over the weekend. Nice pool as well. I'll be back - hopefully soon!

Wonderful golf course. Although I've played Old Waverly a few times, they never fail to impress. The course was in incredible shape. The greens were smooth and relatively fast. (Probably around a 10-10.5 on the stemp. And, the staff is always excellent. DON'T FORGET TO GET THE MINT TEA!!! That alone is worth the trip.

Old Waverly is a very special country club. It’s steeped in Southern charm, after all, a Southern gentleman like founder George Bryan has a particular knack for making guests happy. Bryan is also the co-founder of the new Mossy Oak Golf Club, located across the street from Old Waverly in West Point, MS. Since 1988, Old Waverly has been serving up a daily dose of Southern hospitality every day to members and guests of the Old Waverly Golf Club. Excellent venue for golf. Absolutely loved the greens. Greens were fast but excellent for putting. Two thumbs up for the maintenence staff, the course was in tremendous condition!
