This Golf is classified in the category of Golf club.
Gorgeous layout, fairways and greens are outstanding. Great practice facilities and friendly staff. A must play in the south metro.
Best and most fun golf course I have ever played. That says a lot considering I've played thousands.
Fun course, lots of water hazards on the course. Nice bar and restaurant too
Very nice course but bring some bug spray
Great course layout. Conditions were fantastic, tee to green was lush, all well manicured. Drive was easy. Clubhouse comfortable and tasty food in the dining room!
Played 36 here Saturday and the overall layout is good, pace of play was good, pro shop and restaurant were good, cost per 18 was good. My only critique is that the bunkers were really hard (like really hard), a lot of weeds on tee boxes , and the cart paths could get redone at some point but these are minor in the grand scheme of things . I played Troy Burne Friday so I was a little spoiled even though they r very different courses and price points
Beautiful course!
Excellent layout. Well maintained fairways and greens. Very pleasant staff. Nice driving range. Very windy on the day we played, but still an enjoyable experience. Great price. Basis GPS (distance to hazards, green front, middle and back).
The course is in fantastic shape and the greens are just like newly shampooed carpets. Back 9 are more challenging and exciting. Liked it so much.
Meandering through marshes, wetlands and woodlands, Willingers may just be the most scenic course in the state. Underneath that beauty is a fair and demanding golf course though. Fast but fair greens, great range and practice greens coupled with an outstanding staff makes Willingers a must play. Pace of play was outstanding too!
Great course and great layout... Probably the best manicured greens in the cities.
Food and service top notch!!
This course is one of the best deals in the Twin Cities. Beautiful holes through marshland and trees—bring your camera! You might see some wildlife, too. The staff is great and pace of play was very good. Definitely worth the short drive.
Well maintained
For the price, a great course.
Very nice and challenging course. Great shape. And the greens were very smooth. Hit them straight or you do get in trouble and punished. Great weather and great course.
Great coarse! I've played this coarse for several years and it has never let me down. It is always in great shape and it always keeps my interest.
Beautiful course, scenic and in excellent shape.
We had our son's Graduation party at Willinger's and we couldn't been more thrilled with the result. The venue is impeccable, the golf course is beautiful, the staff is absolutely amazing! The catering facilities along with the availability of a full bar and the ease of the whole process was bar none AWESOME!! Thank you Tony, Diane and everyone for a spectacular day!!
Great time!
Course is in great shape. The greens are running around an 8. Pace of play was good. Range was in great shape. Grass was perfect.
Great value. Course was in great shape and very challenging.
I had a blast playing at Willingers. Even in November the course was in great condition. I'm so glad it's part of the PCC, otherwise I may have never played. I'll be back. The food at the bar there was good too
I love this place I just wish I lived closer
Great views, fast greens, helpful staff. This is a wonderful course that requires placement of tee shots and second shots to well guarded greens. Once on the green be aware of the undulating and usually speedy greens. Overall a good layout with continuous cart paths to lead the way.
Great place! Excellent fairways, great greens and a challenging course.
I quit playing this course in 2013 because of poor conditions in relation to greens fess. I gave it another shot this past Sunday. Big mistake! not much has changed. $82 green fee included 1/2 cart and large bucket of balls. Goosey GAS carts - the cart paths are in really bad shape - the cups look like they hadn't been changed in the past week - play was really slow. I won't go back. So many other better value courses in the area.
Absolutely beautiful course. Grew up just a few miles away but for some reason took 35 years to get out here to play. Plenty of challenges around the course for any level golfer. Great service from the staff. Will certainly be back for the Tuesday lunch special
Great golf course that is very well maintained. Highly recommend
Courses as in great condition and everyone in the clubhouse showed how happy they were to have you there. Keep up the great service-oriented avenue.
It’s a hidden gem if you want to make the drive. I’d play it again for sure.
This is an awesome course. It's pretty difficult with some forced carries, plenty of trees and water. The week day senior deal is really nice. Highly recommend.
Best value for higher end golf in the Metro. A fun course with lots of variety. The slope is very high and you can get beat up by the course if you are off your game. Definitely a course that requires you to think your way around it.
Great layout + awesome staff = repeat business... Enjoyed it and cant wait to come back...
Not a bad course. It's most certainly NOT a 70 dollar course. Way over priced. I would say it's a 50$ course.
Great course - have played here since they opened and has always been in great shape. Challenging layout for all levels of golfer.
Course in fantastic shape. Greens are rolling very well, fairways and sand are top notch. One of the best well designed golf courses in the twin cities area. Well worth it.
Great club staff and a beautiful course sums it up
Carved out in the convalescence of a prairie-esque marshland and lush forest, Willingers is the gem of Southern Minnesota golf. The verdant, winding fairways and undulating greens are sure to provide the perfect balance of challenging yet beautiful golf. This is a golf destination you don’t want to miss.
Great course, horse flies can be terrible during midsummer.
This is one more interesting course. Every hole is uniquely different. Every hole has its own set of challenges. The golf course is very well-maintained and the greens are some of the best that you will play in the state. They are fast and consistent from green to green. Very nice clubhouse and restaurant. The staff are wonderful and very very helpful. And it’s very quiet so you can appreciate the wildlife and nature surroundings. Easy drive straight down 35 south and west on 19.
Wow. What a gem of a course. Willingers tests your golfing skills. I used every club in my bag. The par 5’s are perfect and the par 3’s are all great lengths for all tee boxes. The greens are as true as you get. Food, bev cart (Maddy) and staff (Tallie) are also super. This is a fantastic golf experience
Course was in great shape and the bevvie cart service was excellent!
Played Willingers again this morning. One of my favorite courses in the twin cities. Very scenic setting surrounded with marshlands, woods and wildlife around every hole (and no houses anywhere). Unique layout on each hole that is challenging but extremely fair. Each hole has extremely well-manicured greens and the staff, from the pro-shop, to the waitstaff, to the cart girls and at-the-turn snack shop workers are extremely professional and friendly. The clubhouse has a great patio where you can grab lunch and see both the opening tee-shots off hole 1 and the approach shots on hole 18 coming in. If you haven’t played this course yet, you need to take the time to make the very short drive down. 5 stars!!!
Super fun and challenging course! Greens were fantastic. Can't wait to get back!
Course was in great condition! Love the greens.
A layout unlike any other in the cities. A true treat getting to play here! The staff is absolutely amazing and the course has something to offer every level of player.
The course was in superb condition. The greens rolls fantastic and amazingly true. Willingers has a full driving range, short game area and putting green; perfect to practice all aspects of the game. We really enjoyed the scenery and amazing views of the course. Can’t wait to come back!
Our bartender Tony, ROCKED!!!! Great apps., and great service. Their specials for golf are fantastic!
Willingers is such a nice golf course... it is: in great shape, quiet, house free and fun to play! If you haven’t been here- you need to come. If it’s been awhile, you are missing out!
Nice, challenging course.
Beautiful scenic course kept in great condition. Staff is always friendly. It seems a bit of a drive from the south metro but it's a straight shot down 35 without much traffic that always goes pretty quickly. Definitely one of my favorite courses!
Love this golf course, very challenging for all skill levels. Staff was awesome, and the "2 for Tuesday $39 each to ride w/lunch" is a great deal. Unfortunately, the course has suffered some winter damage that have affected a fair portion of the fairways on each hole, and some greens. Still reccomend as the conditions really don't affect play.
5 star experience. Buy 13 rounds at a time it shakes our to 50 / round and the passes are transferable. My favorite value in the entire state.
Played here three times this year. Each time there were groups with Bluetooth speakers blaring from carts. I am in favor of low volume music but Willingers seems to not only dismiss complaints, but defend the louder-the-better attitude of their members. There are several tee boxes and greens that converge in close proximity and it’s extremely disruptive when boisterous groups arrive with blatant disregard for others who are there to enjoy their game in a more traditional, peaceful manner. It’s a damn shame that the experience of playing such a beautifully serene course is so often ruined by a bunch of louts who don’t care how loud they are playing music and management does nothing about it.
Awesome fun course. Well cared for! Worth taking a trip and playing.
Great course! Keep it in the short grass! Great staff, great value!
Sweet course. Lots of wildlife
Great course, love that they have GPS in the carts & the staff is very friendly...
I played at a charity golf tournament here this summer. The course is in a really nice, secluded location. The course is somewhat unforgiving, but we had great weather and played well enough. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the club house had a great atmosphere, and the course and driving range were in great shape. I would definitely come back to play again!
Loved the course! Greens and fairways in great shape. It's a beautiful course. Challenging and scenic! Must play!
Friendly staff, and the course was in excellent condition. It is a tough course
One of my favorite places to bring golf events. No houses. Fun layout and always in great shape. Gets my vote as a top 10 public course in Minnesota.
Played Yesterday...Holy COW what diamond in the rough. Great Quality all around. Staff knowledgeable and course layout is challenging but not impossible. Can't wait to play it again. It ranks right there with Legends Club, might even give it the upper hand.
Great golf - challenging and beautiful scenery
Every hole presents interesting views and challenges. Lots of chances to see wildlife. The four sets of tees make this course playable by golfers of all abilities. I am eager to come back to play again once the course dries out a bit more. Nice clubhouse and welcoming staff. The pace of play was very good, we were able to play in less than four hours.
The winter was not kind to Willinger's. Love the course and staff but wait until after the 4th of July for winter kill to recover.
Good, clean, difficult course.
Great course. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite golf courses in greater metro Twin Cities.
Great course in great condition, and inexpensive.
Enjoyable course with lots of variety! No two holes are the same. Some short par 4s that require thought and strategy. Par 3s were all different. Lots of elevation changes, especially on the back 9.
In great shape.
Nice well maintained course.
Willinger's is a gem. Beautiful property. Difficult but fair design that offers great risk/reward decisions. Perfectly maintained. GPS carts aid the pace of play. If the price tag is more than you usually spend on a round, treat yourself. (Or check out deals on their website like "two for Tuesday" that includes lunch.) You won't be disappointed. The front nine winds through marshlands that make iconic photos. On the back, you'll navigate hills and wooded areas. Drive it straight, or bring plenty of balls!
Great country course not far south of the cities. Great price for this course, with GPS carts, fast greens, lots of elevation change, and beautiful scenery through out. Will differently be back again.
Longest round of my life. Club house workers couldn't be more rude
Great course and great prices!
Great golf course. Challenging - sand traps, water, elevation changes. Very well maintained. Very nice club house - pro shop, locker/bathrooms on lower level. Bar and eating area upstairs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ample parking. Reasonably priced considering the quality of the complex. Highly recommend.
Love the views all throught the course. Greens were in great shape. Sat down after and grabbed some grub and really enjoyed it.
Good course and well maintained. Greens were nice and true but VERY slow. They have to do something about the horseflys. My buddy and I had two games going (and 2 scorecards). One was for golf and the other was keeping track of the number of horseflys we each killed. Don't think I will ever go back but it is for sure worth the drive to play one time.
Incredibly challenging course but one of the most beautiful in the whole state. Definitely worth a yearly trip.
Fantastic course with great mix of holes. Challenging, but fair. Greens rolled fast and true. Hadn’t heard of this place until it joined PCC program, but I’m glad I know about it now. Just a quick drive down 35 from twin cities
Great condition
Excellent course. My husband and I played the course on a beautiful spring day. The course was busy, but we moved right along. The course was challenging with narrow fairways and lots of sand and water. Definitely plan to go back again.
Really fun course we played from the champion it was a really challenge track, greens were in perfect shape and rolling fast definitely I will back to play again
Great course. Just beautiful
Nice course, but don't leave your pw and sw at home like I did. Really nice greens, tough to chip around them with a 9 iron all day though.
Great golf course... rainy day when we played so Cart path only so really wet. Greens were still mowed and only paid $41... very reasonable.
Tom in the pro shop was very rude hung up on me 3 times. Asked if we could play the front again since we played a 3 hour front nine and didn’t respond. Course is okay. Customer service stinks.
Love this course
Great place. Hard hard hard course. Bring a few extra balls.
Great course. Was a bit dry when we were there tho.
Great course!!!!!
What a great course. Great shape and not over crowded. Green were fast and true. Played the tips and it is a challenging but fair course!!!
Wonderful course just 30 minutes south of Minneapolis. Great variety of holes to challenge all golfers. Scenery is also a plus at this rural location. Course is in great shape here in mid-August.
Great time at Willinger’s Golf Club. Pace of play was great, greens were fantastic, and the views were breathtaking.
