This golf course is great! Great prices during the week! Mark, the owner, takes care of me and my family when we come out here to golf. The course itself is well maintained, a lot of trees but plenty of open fairways for even beginners to have a good time. I look forward to golfing here every time I'm in town. Almost forgot... GPS on the carts!!! Premium experience for an affordable price!

The male employee was very rude. Wanted to add extra fees after the fees had been paid thru golf now. Needless to say I didn't golf here this date, after driving nearly an hour from Rogers, MN. This is the second rude male employee I have encountered at this place. Certainly not recommending this course to anyone!! Find a course with helpful, kind employees. Kindness goes a long, long way.

Been golfing at Whispering PInes since the course opened up and it truly has become one of the best courses in the area. Not only is this one of the oldest courses in the area, but the golfing track speaks for itself. Whispering keeps changing every year..... yearly course improvements , newly added GPS in all the carts and remodeled clubhouse addition with a full bar and food. Keep up the great work guys.

Overall, the course is in good condition, I love the mature trees and rolling hills. However, the tee boxes are in terrible shape. Not mowed well, divets that are obviously years old..... teeing off should be the easiest shot... should be flat... which many here are not.

Very poor customer service!!! Then instead of just nicely saying make sure to let other play through if they are faster (which we do all the time). He goes in to how we have been golfing for 3 hours on 9 holes which was not even close since he told me our start time was the time I left my house that morning before picking up others to go golfing that day (also it's a 40 min drive to the course). I would recommend Albion which has an amazing 27 hole course and amazing customer service!!!!

I love whispering pines! The management treats me right as I’m a regular. One day I forgot my wallet and they told me to not worry about and we’ll settle up next time. That was much appreciated because it was late afternoon and didn’t have time to go home if I was going to play a full 18. The course has a great layout and I always enjoy my round when I go there. The newly added GPS in the carts makes all the difference in the world! Awesome price for a fun course! Some holes are tight so bring your A game!

Whispering Pines Golf Course is in top shape. The greens are very well maintained. This course is the best in the Heart of the Lakes area. The fairways and the rough are in excellent condition. It is a fun course to play with a variety of challenges. The service provided there is a friendly environment. The golf carts even have a GPS tracking system that helps your game. I recommend Whispering Pines to everyone!

Played Whispering Pines for the third time since last summer. The course has some of the best greens in the Greater Twin Cities area. It is truly a 'hidden gem' of a golf course. Excellent greens, well-maintained fairways and a test for your golfing abilities. You have to think about your shots and then execute to get a low score. A great course to spend an afternoon of golf with friends. Very friendly staff how make you feel welcome and appreciate the opportunity to make your round fun.

Came out here for the first time today and it was absolutely gorgeous. Each hole had character and is different from the one before. The greens are challenging but are in terrific shape. I'd recommend it to anyone from the twin cities...it's worth the drive.

Extremely well taken care of. This is the type of course you play when you want some interesting shots with some beautiful landscape. Some very unique holes and some challenging greens. I loved the firmness of the greens as I prefer to feather putt. They have tight cuts, level box's, and a great mixture of holes. Definitely make this a stop on your golf trail. Blessed to live in such a great golf community.

Started golfing at whispering pines about 3 years ago. The golf course has become better and better every year since. The fairways this year are in great condition already and it’s not even July. After a round you can go inside and enjoy some food and beverages. The employees are always there to give you the best service they can give and happy to do so as well. I plan on keeping whispering my home course as long as ownership and maintenance keeps on providing the best service to there customers. Thanks

This golf course is well worth it...the course was in great condition. The fairways were the perfect height and green..very beautiful! The greens were clean and people respect the game.. Didn't run into any major divots..greens were smooth! The staff was on point..very nice people! We got on with a larger group in front of us..caught up to them and they apologized...no worries it's only game! Very nice people out there! We will be back for another round soon! And possible set up a golf tournament to bring out people that have never folded this course. It's a fun challenge! #getoutngolf

Very fun course in great condition. GPS carts and frequent visits from the bev cart. We had a rain delay in the clubhouse and staff gave the golfers a discount on beer! I wish there was always a delay when I golf here...

I’ve played here at least a dozen times over the passed 20 years, but the last round was probably more than 5 years ago. I went to the driving range around 7p and they said they were out of balls. I asked if the golf ball collector was broken and the individual told me it wasn’t, but it was because everybody hit all the balls already. Huh?? A golf course out of golf balls?? Maybe I should stop by the pizza shop and they’re be out of pizza too.

I golfed there 4 years ago and was just devastated in the condition of the course. The greens were 60% dead and the bunkers.. filled with mud. My brother-in-law and play very competitive golf and it was his turn to pick so when he chose whispering pines and was very insistent on it so, I gave it a shot. WOW I was really impressed and can't believe the turn around. I usually don't write reviews but, whoever is in charge of this course did an amazing transformation and needs recommendation. I am hosting my wedding party golf outing there Sept 21st just to bring people out there. I must warn you though the course was challenging I shot a 103 and the only course in the area that I shot over 100.

I enjoyed my round of golf at Whispering Pines. Most holes require a smart tee shot and a good second shot in order to score well. You cannot get away with trying to cut corners because there are mature trees protecting the corners. What I liked most about the course were the well cut greens and the true rolls they provided. Every putt requires a good read. If you do not read them well it will cost you strokes. Even though I used a cart, it looked like a nice course to walk. In other words, not many steep hills or long distances between holes.

Love this course! Became a member for the first time this year and it was a great investment. The course can play as easy or as tough as you make it. I really enjoy the layout in that no two holes are similar. There are many bends and hills which make for a bit of a challenge. The greens are also in great shape. Would recommend for golfers of all skill levels.

I had a very sour experience with the staff at Whispering Pines. They don't greet you when you walk in and act like it's a huge chore to help you. You want to be thinking about golf when you head to the first tee box, not how poorly you were just treated by the staff inside.
