I recently photographed a wedding at this DREAM venue ! So many photo spots and such a wonderful staff. The ceremony site is adorable and in just the right direction to the sun, the beautiful greenery and tall trees are amazing, and what about that hidden tunnel with a stream (full of baby turtles btw!) . Not only you won't be disappointed to get married here, but you will have an absolute wonderful experience :D
Why do tax boundaries and school districts aren't the same!? We pay for the rich education!
This is easily the best course in the Twin Cities area. I have played, worked at, and experienced most of the courses in this area. The layout is amazing. The staff are always super laid back and friendly. And the instruction from the golf pros here are a cut above. Just do yourself a favor and make the trek out here and play this course. I know I will be for as long as I live in the area.
Great course and great service.

Beautiful place for a wedding
The event center was a great place for a small wedding.

Great course love the layout challenging and beautiful.
Fantastic course. Very challenging, but fair. Greens roll true and they are always fast. Fluffy bunkers and many picturesque holes. Keep your camera phone nearby as you'll want to take a ton of photos.
Can't even explain everything that happened today at this course with drive chip and putt. Your future=kids! BUT=Gretchen was awesome! Jamie for his "golf outing" not so much! And this photo belongs to the jerk in charge of HIS golf outing! Wish I could of recorded his FANTASTIC attitude towards kids.
This is by far the best public course in the twin cities. I have played most of the high rated courses. Best in 100 miles!! Cory
Played with some friends from Hudson and had a wonderful time. Golf magazine ranked this as the #10 best course in WI in their 2017 list and we enjoyed the layout and tee selections.
I can't believe how simply stellar this course is. One thing that stands out about this course is the variety. The front nine is an 'American Links' design whereas the back nine weaves through the wooded suburbs of the Troy Burne village. The course conditions are very good for the money. Practice facilities are pretty lackluster with a lack of any special practice amenities (green-side bunker, fairway bunker), but the medium-sized range and practice green do just fine. Pro shop is great, staff are very nice, and food is great. This is a great boys-day kind of place and I highly recommend it.
Top 5 track. Friendly staff. Course is difficult, esp the front 9. They have new GPS carts with large screen displays.
Troy Burne was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! The entire staff was beyond great and our coordinator, Amber was phenomenal! Each time my husband and I were there to go over details and such, we were treated incredibly well by every single staff member. Amber was very responsive, organized and just the sweetest person in general! The decorations that they provided for us were wonderful but hardly even needed because the scenery of the golf course out the large windows was so beautiful!! The food was delicious!!! We got so many compliments from our wedding guests! They were even so accommodating to give my husband his own special meal (the guests all had taco bar while he had a bacon cheeseburger because it's his favorite)! We also received two free golf passes which was a perfect opportunity for my husband to have a casual bachelor party! If you're reading this review and contemplating booking Troy Burne for your wedding, just DO IT! You will not regret it!
Beautiful course and great staff. Conditions were perfect, and pace of play was completely fine. Could not ask for a better experience. Expensive, but worth it.
One of the best courses in the MSP area. Always in great shape and has some of the most scenic views of any course you'll ever play. Worth every penny! The staff is great too.

Solid all the way around. Get what you pay for here .

Always a good time
One of my favorite courses I have played. Always in great shape. Course is well bunkered and looks intimidating, but the fairways are wide and fair, greens roll extremely well, and service is outstanding.
Nice course. But for the money, it was missing a number of things. Half the holes didn't have ball washers, greens were not in the greatest shape, no GPS, and with all the divots in the fairways it was difficult to locate distance markers since they do not have yardage stakes. I have to say the staff was very polite and friendly. Playing 18 w/cart is in the price range of Rush Creek, Legends Club, etc. I have played both of those two numerous times and they have never been in as rough of shape as Troy Burne was. Would I recommend playing it, absolutely. Will I play it again, probably not.
The course is in awesome shape this year!!!
This summer I had the honor of officiating for two large weddings at Troy Burne Golf Club. The natural beauty of this venue, and the professional, thoughtful attentiveness of the staff, make it one of the top locations I recommend to couples in western Wisconsin. I also recommend it to couples in the metropolitan Twin Cities area because it is only a 30 minute drive from St Paul into lovely countryside. As you consider venues for your wedding, please take a moment to look at the possibilities here. Carolyn Germaine, Grand Avenue Wedding Officiants, 889 Grand Avenue, St Paul MN
It's a beautiful course with a professional and friendly staff.
Beautiful course and great staff. Conditions were perfect, and pace of play was completely fine. Could not ask for a better experience. Expensive, but worth it.
Early morning tee time - great course, every hole is different and it's priced accordingly!
Beautiful layout. Fair but difficult. Every hole is a birdie or a double waiting to happen.
Fantastic golf course , pro shop and restaurant people are great. No one better then Dave Tentis
Absolutely love this course . Always in great condition, challenging and fair at the same time. Worth it, every time.
Best course within a six hour drive.
Really nice layout. Greens and course are perfect. No GPS in carts. Had a wedding so kitchen stopped serving food.
Amazing overall experience. Superb quality course, that brings challenge to all players. Very nice driving range and giant practice putting green. Tom Lehman designed course; our group often muttered that we got “Lehman’ed” on the greens haha. Definitely will be making the trip from Minneapolis to Hudson, WI again soon.
Phenomenal Course!
My vote for the best public golf course in the Twin Cities metro
Pretty place
Great track friendly staff
Had our wedding here in September of 2017 and all I can say is WOW. The wedding coordinator Amber was absolutely incredible. I felt like she was always prepared for our meetings, was extremely helpful in customizing our experience, and felt like she truly cared about our big day. The food was amazing, the rooms looked fantastic and most importantly our guests thoroughly enjoyed their time. Do not hesitate to have your wedding here. They were also VERY reasonable on price, not the most expensive, and not the cheapest, but I felt like they earned every dollar. 10/10, everything was perfect.
Nice course. Interesting layout. Modern stadium style course. Not too tree lined, more rolling mounds and hills. Larger undulated greens.
Great course
Northern Wisconsins best course
Just a top notch, first class golf facility. Head Pro Dave Tentis is the ultimate class professional. His whole staff is friendly and helpful. Course was in immaculate condition with their typical smooth fast greens.
Stunning course from front to back. The bunkers are very sloped and always in play. I loved the elevation changes and the difference from the front9 to the back9. Every part from fairway, to greens, to rough, to long grass was amazingly well kept. My hats off to Troy Burne and I will absolutley be back.
Great golf course, very well maintained, and a challenging layout! Greens are very true, highly recommend!
Best 18 around.
(Translated by Google) It was a golf course comparable to Palm Springs La Quinta Golf Course. (Original) 팜스프링 라퀸타 골프장과도 견줄만한 골프장이었다.

Awesome course! Definitely worth the money.
Best course I have ever played. Fabulous!
Great course. Awesome layout, with a really great staff. The cart girl was super attentive and the holes are challenging without being punishing. I'd love to be a member. :)
Fourth of July Fabulous. In part because I had five birdies on the round, unfortunately with two double bogies and a quad. Managed an 84, which is a low round for me. But to the point. I've played Troy Burn over the past fifteen years and found the course to be in pristine condition. Greens were rolled and cut, which helped with the birds. Want to have some fun, play it.
Great course. Unfortunately, it is has become a "destination" course. So people come and plan to spend their day there and that leads to slow rounds. I have had a couple of 5 hour plus rounds. No fun. Especially when you are behind bad golfers whose priorities are: talking, drinking, smoking and then golf. Best times are early in the morning or late afternoon.
My favorite course. A little $$
The course is amazing. The staff at our friends wedding was amazing. The carts work and are clean, the course makes for an amazing backdrop for wedding photos. The view from the club house is 5 stars. Great place to golf and have a wedding.
Saw Joe Mauer's house!
Love this course normally seemed greens were a touch burned out. But phonemenal layout with decent speed on the greens
PROS - Challenging course. Well maintained. Great slope to greens. Good mix/variety of holes. Electric carts. Earlier twilight than most courses. CONS - Lots of bunkers! They do not provide complimentary water on the course. Yardage markers are few and far between (bring you range finders!). For $118 a round you'd expect GPS in the carts. OVERALL - Great course if you're hitting their twilight at $80, but if you're paying full price, maybe try another course that gives you more for what you pay for.
One of the top public courses in MN.
The course is amazing with good layout and scenery with excellent driving range and practice putting green. A must try if it's in your budget.
Fantastic.
This is the best golf course within 100 miles of the Twin Cities. It's a bit pricey, but if you can afford it, you'll be treated to the best golf experience you've ever had. The course is always in absolutely immaculate condition. Very fast and true greens, close-cut fairways and tees, and an incredible layout that I can't say enough about. Most holes have some sort of risk-reward play without making any of them seem gimmicky which is something I've never seen pulled off. Staff is incredible and the beverage cart is always timely. I can't reiterate enough how awesome the layout is. You start off with a great par 5 with a tough green and go from there. The middle few holes on the front are pretty tough. The back nine was voted best in the twin cities and for good reason. After a tough par 4 10th which has water going all the way up the left side, you go into the gorgeous par 3 11th. 12 is an eagle-able par 5 with an enormous undulating green. 15 is an insane par 3 that only plays about 100 yds, but it's got a 10-foot deep bunker in front of the green. My buddy had his wedding here as well, which was awesome. The 11th teebox was a gorgeous setting. If they didn't charge $90 per round, I would come here every weekend. Alas, my golf buddies and I can't afford that and we generally go to White Eagle instead.
Amazing course! This course is beautiful and very fun to play. Highly recommend!
Beautiful course. Awesome greens.
Was good. Not worth the money anymore
