Nowadays this business gets a rating of 4.3 stars out of 5 and the rating was based on 241 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is very positive, and it is founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can be pretty sure that the assessment is quite credible. If many people have bothered to value when they are happy with the business, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to put tatings when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Golf is included in the category of Golf course.
What a wonderful course. Not too hard and definitely not too easy. The pub has top notch food and the prices were lower than expected. Every staff member I encountered made me feel at ease. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the men's locker room. Whoa! De-funk that place; soon. I know it's a locker room but I've been in gym locker rooms that smell better.
Beautiful venue! I attended a wedding there. The only unfortunate part were the staff. Not once did I see any of them smile or act friendly. They just ran around looking frazzled and yelled at people to move places. Not the greatest experience
Beautiful location for reception. Private bar set up in the room with large patio overlooking the 18th green. Food was excellent. We had a small steak, chicken cordon bleu, mashed potatoes, and green beans. All were prepared very well and served at a good temperature and we were the last table to get our food! About a quarter of the staff seemed to have better things to do. In particular, one of the bartenders made you feel like you were bothering her every time you went up. Her tip jar proved it out; the other bar tender was great and had a jar full of cash on his side.
Great course and friendly staff!
Great practice facility, great greens, worth the price!!
We were here for a wedding, very nice room with spacious and clean banquet room and the food was great!
better bring your straight shots for this golf course or you easily run through a bunch of balls
Was there for an awards dinner. The room was beautiful with a view to the golf course. The food was great. It was everything you'd expect from a country club or upscale restaurant.
Great.
Great Sunday brunch buffet! Great Santa and ambience for pix with the kids before Christmas.
Great golf course in excellent condition!!
Nice staff.
Beautiful course great service
Our food was great, the best fish fry ever!!! Choices were plentiful and displayed so nicely. Our server Roxanne was so nice and always right there when we needed something. I would rate our experience as a "10".
Great course and an even better staff. Elevation changes on almost every hole, but plays extremely fair throughout the round. They do have very fast greens, so make sure you get there early and take advantage of the range balls that are included with the greens fees.
Course was in great condition

a beautiful place for a wedding!
Still a great course!
Great course. Lacked some maintenance in the bunkers and on the greens, but a great place to play.

Great staff
The Shakopee High School band banquet was here. Great facility, great food and great staff. Thank you!
Very nice. Staff was hard to identify as some of them wore different uniforms. The dinner was awesome. Kudos to the kitchen!
Beautiful course
Amazing condition for the first day open
Fantastic venue! Always pleased
Love this place. Great championship track.
Expensive but worth every penny. I've played all the courses in the cities area including Minnetonka CC, Wyzata CC, Chaska towncourse, Hazeltine, etc. I played Wilds for the first time last weekend and it is one of my favorites. Great mix of holes, very fair, and in excellent condition. The only knock would be all the houses lining the fairways. But all in all a great golfing experience.
Always a great brunch
The entire golf staff from the pros to the attendents at the bag drop are outstanding.
Nice golf course. Maybe a little high priced for the experience, but the course was in good condition and layout was good.
Was there for a tournament. It was a nice course and had a lot of fun playing there.
trashy food. even trashier golf course.
Well kept and fun to play
Excellent Practice Area - Real Turf, Bunker, Unlimited Balls all day, able to work on everything in your bag as much as you want
Great views on the cities
Was here to see Fourth of July Fireworks. Lots of mosquitos.
Oh my was that a fun round! $30 twilight - course was completely empty. Extremely challenging and everything in great shape. No GPS tho for a premium course.. questionable but still a great time!
Beautiful and challenging course. First time there and wish I paid more attention to the "cheat sheet" starter provided. Many blind tee shots that seemed well put, to find out they were not :). ONLY complaint were most of the par 3 boxes were in rough shape. Not sure if they had tournaments out there days prior. Very minor complaint.
To many blind holes, overpriced
Excellent golfing
The guy taking tee times (Marty) is extremely rude. Just tried making a tee time and he was so rude, that we will be golfing elsewhere. Probably not the person you want making a first impression. We will take our money elsewhere.
Went for a wedding which overwhelmed the only bartender. Could have had more help. Beer selection OK, amenities nothing special for a bar in a higher end golf course.
Nice golf course. Maybe a little high priced for the experience, but the course was in good condition and layout was good.
Good
By far my favorite course in the Twin Cities. It's always in perfect condition.
The food was mediocre and overpriced
An artistically beautiful establishment with a staff that just puts the icing on the cake!
Great parking. Food is awesome.
Fun wedding
Horrible customer service. I didn't feel welcome
Gray golf course
Fundraiser went well lot of fun
Extremely well kept course! Very fun!
Was there for a tournament. It was a nice course and had a lot of fun playing there.
Nice place for a wedding.
The course is WAAAY too expensive for what you get. There is no way this place should be charging $100 (with cart) for a weekday round. There are other course to play that are just as good for 1/2 the price. The grounds were well kept, but the sand traps needed work..And there are way too many of them. The place also had that "wanna-be country club vibe". If they didn't know you, you are not treated well. I did like the "free" range they provide and the practice green was well kept. Overall, the Mystic Lake course is a far better value. I will not be returning.
Staff was great.
We went here for brunch. The food was wonderful. Definitely would recommend.
This course is immaculate! It's a challenging course for the casual golfer, but not too difficult that I'd shy away from it if that description fits you. The service at the pro shop and bar were spot on. No GPS on the carts, bring your range finder or golf course friendly watch for distances.
Meh
Wonderful
Nice course, small pro shop with overpriced goods only catering to a sliver of the population playing there. They have a bunch of young inexperienced pros hanging out, and they do some stuff like Jr golf lessons, otherwise they stand around air-swinging and looking pretty. The course is nice, the course grew does a fine job. The restaurant, is very nice. Sunday brunch is great, and holiday brunches are even better.
Absolutely Fantastic! Great food, friendly and attentive customer service. Good quality fresh food at a great price. Everyone; including 4 children and 5 adults raved about the food. I've never been to a buffet where absolutely every food item was a hit, even our picky eaters went back for 2nds and thirds as well as tried new things. Our family definitely recommends The Wilds Buffet Brunch; we will certainly be coming back!
Not the beauty it once was, but it was worth the $62 I paid
The Sunday brunch buffet was subpar. Probably one of the worst I've been to. I expected more.
We reserved a table for 10:30 got in at 11
Great brunch
We went here for brunch. The food was wonderful. Definitely would recommend.
The course is in pretty good shape; tees, greens, and fairways are solid. The tourney food was very good. As always the service was great!
This and TPC Scottsdale are my favorite Weiskopf/Morrish designed courses. Great course, and gorgeous club house.
The course was in great shape. Not impressed at all with the golf pro or his staff. There are a lot of nice courses to play where you aren't treated poorly.
Me expensive than it should be. Decent course, but not great.
It was a good course, but is going downhill. The views are great still.
Absolutely beautiful golf course!
Great golf course and nice club house
Great track that was in wonderful shape. Amazing staff golf pro staff! Great brunch!
Very nice wedding venue. Staff was fantastic!!
Great place to golf Great rate also
Beautiful place
Great place for gathering
Good food. Great golf.
Course was not in great shape and the staff was condescending minus a couple people since we weren't regulars at the course. The ranger who worked that day was a complete A-hole. They have a rule that we weren't clearly explained about carts that aren't allowed within 100 yards of the green even though we always were parked in the rough about 50 yards from the green. He treated us like we weren't worthy to play at their course but yet he didn't do anything to a group of walkers that made our back nine last 3 hours. There were literally 3 groups piled up on each tee box because of this slow play. The ranger was condescending and rude to us about a BS rule infraction and didn't do anything to speed up the pace of play. Also the cart staff kids were in your face looking for tips even after we said "no thanks" for their help. The price you pay is ridiculous for the treatment we had and the not so great shape the course was in. Go somewhere cheaper and more laid back like Stonebrooke or somewhere else. You will enjoy your time much more.

Great buffet even better service
I love the "pay the temp" tee time offer. Course was in amazing shape for it being early into the season. Greens were quick, but I barely noticed any ball marks (thank you to my fellow golfers for taking care of your marks). Staff was amazing, the gals loaded the carts as we checked in and wiped the clubs off after the round. Beverage cart came around every 3-4 holes. Wonderful experience.
Neat course. Visited for an event being hosted here. Only complaint about the event was the food did not measure up to what we paid for dinner. I'm not sure if it was food regularly served at the club, or if it was brought in for the event, but it was NOT worth staying for dinner.
Tough but fair course. Great shape this year. Look for Friday night specials.
Celebrating my sons 18th birthday was great at the Wilds. Course course was in great shape except the sand traps were horrible..no sand
Nice facility for the wedding. The dinner was great!
Went there for a wedding for Katie niece this past june
Very nice place.
Great layout, good options for yardage depending on skill. I just wish the bunkers were a little better. Great course overall.
Service was magnificent, the buffet had a great selection and everything tasted wonderful. We went golfing afterwards and the community/course is well kept and was a very pleasant place to spend my day.
Gorgeous course with great greens and just as good of fairways . Some beautiful tee shots and nice landscaping and some holes that really make you feel in the wild. Large practice facility that runs along the semi private entrance.
Minnesota's Crown Jewel is a hidden gem. Staff is very attentive. The golf course is challenging yet fair and in amazing condition. The bar is fun, drinks are good and the menu is first class. If you are looking for an opportunity to have a full golfing experience the Wilds is the place.
Their food has really improved! On Friday night during Off Season they have all the Prime Rib you can eat and it is great with mashed potato with fixings, salad and bread pudding for dessert. Their Pub is really good and so is their Sunday Brunch!
Was there for a business meeting, chicken they served was awesome!!
Great course
Here for a wedding. Pretty nice
Decent course but the the on course food options are not the best.
My local course. Everything about the course is awesome except the sand traps. They receive little maintenance, so they are as firm as concrete or all of the sand from the edges/sides has washed into the center and sits there for weeks.
Attended an event here the ballroom is beautiful. The food was excellent, especially for serving the numbers that were in attendance. On top of that the staff was amazing and were willing to help with whatever!
Beautiful course, great food.

Solid wedding venue
Nice place for a wedding
Food & service was good. Not many diners. Clubhouse could use updating.
Great for events, the event team is very helpful and well organized. I had a great experience, and we booked our event during winter, so we saved a bunch of money with the discounts they offered! I can highly recommend having your event with the Wilds!
Played 18 in a little over 2 hours and it would have been faster if I was able to put my tee shots in the fairway more often than twice. Whoever couldn't rake the bunker after playing a shot from the one to the left of the 16th green on Tuesday 4/25/17, I took care of it for you. Greens had been aerated the day before but they still rolled nice if you read the break right and used the right speed, if you didn't you missed putts as you would on non-aerated greens.
A gorgeous, challenging and fun course.
Nice approachable course.
Great shape fun course
A very beautiful course to play!
Most overpriced, overrated golf course in the Twin Cities. They should call it "The Houses" instead of the Wilds. If you like hills and houses and paying nearly a hundred bucks to golf, go for it. However, there are many courses in the Twin Cities area for less than $50 that I'd rather play.
Professional ran and beautiful
Beautiful course, always a good time at this course. Beautiful facility, very friendly staff!!!!
I have played the Wilds since 1997 when it first opened. I usually get out there once every other year. The course still has many beautiful holes, but they are not in the shape they were in past years. The bunkers are thin on sand and the grass around many bunkers is not where it should be. There currently is some winter burn on the fairways & greens. There are many many more houses on the course and more seem to be added all the time. It feels less like a retreat and more like some courses in the north metro. All that said, this is still a good value at $50 to walk. There are many challenging holes and the pace of play is good. I will come back the Wilds, and hope they up there game a bit as far as how they take care of the course.
