I came here to use the driving range, only $6 for a decent sized bucket, I'd say probably 60 or so golf balls. I didn't get a chance yet to actually play the course but it looked nice from what I saw. Polite staff!

You will have a lovely, Scenic Drive to get to straight River. If you have not been there before you may want to use your Google Maps. I do not recall seeing a handicap ramp but there may be one. Plenty of parking. The outside deck facing the golf course is fabulous. The food is very good and there are Friday and Saturday night specials that I highly recommend. The staff are very accommodating and helpful the bar and dining area are comfortable and clean.

I had tried in the past to contact the new owner regarding several groupons that I had purchased before he owned the club, and he NEVER returned my phone messages or letter. For that reason, I did not even give this club a chance again, until last month. Not only were the fees ridiculous for a course that you shoot back and forth toward the previous and future holes, the service was AWFUL! When we paid inside the clubhouse the woman asked us if we needed drinks, to which my husband answered that we had a cooler of water. She said, "oh, ok." We went out and began golfing. The owner approached us, and rather than just asking us to take it back to our car, he asked what kind of idiots bring a cooler on the course. I told him there was not a need to be so rude, that we would take it back to the car. He loudly and rudely explained that any moron would know that this is a several acre bar, and we needed to get the cooler out of there. His DEGRADING AND RUDE manners will assure that we will NOT RETURN to this golf course.

I cannot say enough about this hidden gem! The Straight River Golf Course restaurant is surrounded in beautiful scenery and has a small and cozy atmosphere. The food is outstanding and the cook is so friendly and accommodating. With a smaller menu and so many food restrictions my sister thought she might of had to leave the restaurant. The cook came out of the kitchen, talked with her, and came up on the spot with a dish she could eat! He definitely deserves a raise and major cudos. I reccomend everyone in the Faribault to come and check it out!

Staff was cool and laid back and made me feel welcome. Course was wet so the greens were a little slow but overall had a blast. Fyi it's a par 3 course with some par 4s on the back.

Almost $50 to play on a tiny 18 hole course designed to be a par 3 course. Holes intertwine all over the place, some holes I would even say are quite dangerous. Terrible conditions and half the greens were burned and torn up. Would never recommend, not even to my worst enemy.

Great value for the facilities offered compared to any other par three course. Par is 54 and offers just a little more than a normal par three course. Visit it once and give it a try!
