It's plush, but there can be to plush. 15' putts should not have to go airborne to get to the hole.

Broad landing areas; greens faster on the front 9 than the back 9 (golfed 10:30-2:00pm). Nice clubhouse; better course for a small town than you would expect!

We were looking for a good golf course close to our house. This was a very pretty area and they did a good job on the greens! We have a great time. Afterwards we went in to the club house to grab a drink, the lady was very friendly. We finished our drinks, filled out our ticket, and left. This evening I began balancing my checkbook and realized she had added onto our tip we had left. My receipt, what I wrote down, and what was taken out did not match!! I do not agree with this act at all and feel bad that she felt the need to scam more on our ticket. It is sad that once person can ruin a persons view of a place for a stupid selfish act. We will not be going back to this course.

Big fan of this course. I played here a ton this year as it's pretty close to home. While I have a plethora of options around here, we always go back to Southbrook. The rates are unbeatable. The staff is always friendly. The food upstairs is good as well. I like the course though because it allows me to work on a bunch of aspects of my game. There are a few holes that really challenge you and a few others that will make you challenge yourself because they are scorers holes and you will really beat yourself up if you come up short. They also have a ton of tourneys throughout the year which were a blast.

Great public golf course that shows the care of a family operated business. Large greens and tee boxes that allow change to the course dynamics. Generous fairways for the average golfer and enough course design and character to challenge the skilled golfer. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. A must play course west of the Twin Cities. Promise you won’t leave disappointed.
