Beautiful course on Lake Pokegama. Some of the regulars can be a bit pushy and hover around when you're teeing off. This big group that goes every Friday was 15 minutes early for their Tee time and tried to tell us that we should wait for them to tee off first. It was an interesting experience. A staff member had us skip to the back nine so they wouldn't be breathing down our necks the whole time.

This is a great course with wonderful staff. The pro shop is beautiful and the people were super helpful and friendly. Electric carts with club covers in case of rain is fantastic. GPS on the carts are great. The course layout is fun and challenging but fair. I played the blue tees at around 6400 yards. Even this early in the season the greens were in good condition. Lots of wildlife and beautiful Northwoods nature all around you on this course. Just awesome. We love coming to Grand Rapids and Pokegama Golf Course just makes it more fun.
