Played a round here using my Minnesota PGA card for about $16. It's one of the test drive courses and definitely a good one to try in the South metro.

Good course and value. A little bit of a drive from the twin cities but I keep coming back for the good conditions. The par 3 17th is somehow rated as the easiest hole on the course. It's over 200 yards from the blues AND it's uphill AND it's normally into the wind. The one hole I can't stand on this course. Every other par 3 is easier than 17. *steps off soapbox*

Who’d a thunk a course this nice could be found in Montgomery, MN? What a treat and definitely worth the drive. Loved the scenic trees and nice mix of holes. The owner has big plans to turn this into a rock and roll themed golf course and it will be fun to see that develop. Go play here!

Played Montgomery National today and had a great experience. Staff was great, the course was in great shape, greens rolled true, and it was a fun layout. Challenging, but fair, with a good mix of holes (#12 was fun...short par 4 that made me think a bit...). We will definitely be back. Thanks for being a PCC course!

Great course to play. Went for My the first time and would defiantly go again. The price is good although I'm a pcc member but I would pay full price compared to other courses. Very nice course charging the same. If you haven't been there you should go, you would not be disappointed.

Great course. Lots of variety to shape shots, fairways were in very good condition, rough was difficult, but not over the top, tee boxes weren't the flattest, but cut really well.

Absolutely incredible greens! Course was extremely fun and the greens were fantastic. Good mix of holes and the proshop staff is phenomenal. Kudos to Greg and staff!

Really nothing against the course. But I would warn against using Chronogolf to book tee times. We never even teed off because of rain and Chronogolf refused to refund our money. Now we have to reschedule a trip down to Montgomery again just to be whole again or we lose our money altogether. Never ever using online paying for green fees again.

From the moment you walk into the club house, Greg greets you with open arms. I understand this course was recently purchased by Greg and is going through an exciting transformation in the coming years. As you play the course, you get to enjoy some really great holes of risk and reward. The greens are rolling really nice, quick and very true. Another person in my group was making bombs

Got a chance to play Montgomery National today for the first time today thanks to the #PCC. This course was in much better condition than most other courses I’ve played this season. Challenging from the blues, gives a wide variety of shots to practice. Course was full but moved along nicely. 4-hour round in a 4-some. I live in Woodbury but would make the drive anyway to play this course again

Good course. Tees and fairways are among the best I’ve played early this season. Greens were small and challenging. Require accuracy to stay on them. Putting on the greens is fair. They roll true. Lots of variety to hit many different shots off the tee, especially in the par 3s. Don’t be afraid of the drive, it’s well worth the trip from the Twin Cities!

This course has a very nice layout. The practice putting and chipping area is nice. It is well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Clubhouse is small but well maintained. The dining area can accommodate small groups. Ample parking.

Drove about 45 minutes to get there from the south metro area today (a Saturday) where 4 of us played scratch ball. We were able to start ahead of our tee time and the pace was such that we neither had to worry about the group ahead of us, nor about the group behind us needing to play through. We finished in just about 4 hours. There are several marshes adjacent to some of the tee boxes, but there were zero problems with pest insects anywhere on the course. The grounds were well-cleared of debris. The course is a bit short, but still manages to stress smart ball placement. It's worth the drive.
