One of the best 9 holes in the Twin Cities area. Makes you play honest and can be quite humbling. Difficult dog legs and bunker placements around greens require precision. Well maintained fairways and putting surfaces.

This particular Golf and "Event" Center offers more than just a chance for a nine or eighteen hole outing. On the course itself, there's a cart with a variety of refreshments, that can provide any customer with both liquid and solid choices suitable for almost any particular preference. This cart/wagon can usually be spotted anywhere along the course's range. Similar items can be found in the clubhouse bar & grill next to where you pay golf fees. For a low key, non competitive and usually slow paced golf experience you could do worse than Lost Spur's golf complex.

$11 for 2 range tokens???? Absolutely robbery. Go to Inver Heights Golf Course and hit off the grass for $8. Much nicer facility and they have actual greens with pins for targets not just sticks poking out of the ground like this dump range. Golf course is what it is. A beat up short track for those looking to get in a quick 9 or work on their game.

I have been here only a few times. They were for business holiday parties. I'd say the food they serve is really delicious! And the employees are really nice and helpful (when they refilled my soda or took my dish after I was done eating).

Had a conference here. Nothing spectacular about the food.... The pasta was overcooked and the sauce was bland. The garlic bread didn't have much flavor either but the Caesar salad was good! The staff was accommodating when bringing refreshments and the food for the buffet lunch. Good enough location to host a business meeting, I would consider this place over an American Legion/VFW for hosting a personal event or wedding here however. This is much nicer than a typical VFW/American Legion with more modern facilities and openness.

We just had our wedding reception here. Our guests raved. The food was excellent: very tasty and generous portions. We had to move our reception here suddenly. Our guests had already made their menu selections. One of the items wasn't on their normal catering menu. Chef Mike looked at the description of the entree and, no offense to our original venue, created something that surpassed the original offering. The view's, especially as you near sundown, are spectacular. Great for pictures and just hanging out on the deck. The ballroom was beautiful. Geri and Chef Mike were aces. They communicated thoroughly and clearly through the planning process. On the night of the event, I didn't have to give *any* thought to anything but enjoying the night. From my point of view, the actual execution of the event was on autopilot. I don't often have reason to rent a hall but now I'm motivated to have another event just so I can wow my guests again.

Went to a wedding there actually. Really nice place. Driveway is a little steep and narrow. Building is in nice shape. Nice restrooms. Nice lighting. Unsure about the actual.golf part but it sure was beautiful!

I am now a permanent customer with Lost Spur, as well as my dad, thanks to the great customer service and beautiful course! 5 minutes from work, and 10 minutes from home, this course provides more than adequate challenge for any golfer who is not extremely advanced. The staff is also super friendly, and you don't have the stuffy feel of a private country club! A couple of the holes have a beautiful view of the River, the course is beautiful, and it is a quiet golf setting... all at a great price! Not much more you can ask for!

Decent course but.....$10 for a bucket of range balls? At that price I was expecting a laundry basket.... Course is not in great shape overall. Greens are actually pretty decent but the course itself is not good. Tee boxes are full of crab grass. Last two times I was there, nobody was in the clubhouse and then when someone did arrive...they didnt have their computers on so I had to pay in cash. Not a huge deal because I had cash but....when you are open....you should be open.

Overall nice course but management was absolutely brutal. Was told several times by some lady that we were taking to much time golfing when we had to wait on the groups ahead of us. We were told that we were disrespecting the course and the game of golf by playing fast so no was on our ass the whole time.

Very nice place! I was there to attend a memorial service for a friend's Mother and he sang their praises as a staff that was easy to work with at reasonable prices! My experience with the staff was very positive. The venue was recently redone and it is beautiful! Great location... beautiful surroundings! Nice job all the way around!

Grass driving range. Course is a little weird with some holes kind of running through others but it's pretty affordable and fairly well maintained. I will definitely be back.

Attended a wedding here and it was a really nice venue. Driven by tons if times but had no idea it was there. Everything looked great - even the bathroom was fancy! Staff was very nice as well.

Just played a round at the Lost Spur the other day for the first time. Really enjoyed it! Besides being a little hilly, I thought this was a great course for a non-PGA player like myself. Greens were nice, fairways maintained, friendly service, etc. Can't beat the price, either!

It's ok for what it is. Its a 9 hole in Eagan, its priced very fair and the course offers a nice mix of par 3's, 4's and a 5. The clubhouse is fantastic and the food is really good.

This place is niiiiiiiiiiceee. They got a nice driving range, where you can hit balls with all sorts of clubs. My buddy said they have a nice 9 hole and I'll take his word for it. The only downside? I never found the spur they lost. Good luck to those who take on that quest

Course offers nice views but not much else. Tee boxes were littered with divots. Fairways were hard with a few barren patches (I played in October). Greens extremely small and fast. Yardages were not marked, so your second shot is a guessing game. Course is short (par fours average 293 from the back tee). At these yardages you'd like to walk, but the hills make that hard.

Lost Spur is owned and operated by the Shrine Temple and maintained to very high standards. Foods are always expertly prepared and golf course always primed and ready for the golfer.

This place is fun with lots of hills. Older golfers will want a cart, some hills are steep. It is a somewhat easy course that is well maintained.

I like this place, the fairways can be a little narrow at times but it's a fun and very well groomed course. There is one funny hole though, I think it's hole 3, there the whole thing is up hill... And it's a fairly steep hill. Feels weird man, but was still very fun.

This course was affordable yes, but the conditions of the grounds are not impressive. The grass is patchy and dry, the golf carts have poor shock absorption and as you cruise across the fairway you may experience nausea and whiplash, airplanes flying above you will likely distract you on your backswing. I'm sure that Lost Spur would be a good venue for events, but for golfing I would suggest you take your business elsewhere in the South Metro.
