GREAT QUALITY golf course. Perfectly landscaped greens are as smooth as a billiard table.. total putting dream.. that being said , the gnats and other biting insects made it impossible to enjoy. I stopped in the clubhouse and was told NEITHER bug spray they have will work against the gnats and they were 12.00 for a tiny purse size bottle. If you go here, pick a breezy day AND bring military grade bugspray. It's just really sad to have a PGA quality course that I don't want to go back to..

Awesome brisket nachos and I usually only like beef taco meat on mine. I could have split it with a friend. My daughter had breakfast burger with fries and was delicious!! We especially loved the fries. Skinny yet battered. We’ll definitely be back. Awesome staff and beautiful view!!

The course is a bit of a challenge for an old hack like me. If it wasn't for the golf package 2nights 3 days stay at Jackpot Junction and 3 rounds of golf and a $$50 dollar gift card($275 for the package) oh ya the $300 I won I might not have enjoyed Myself but I DID. CK IT OUT.

There was a golf tournament today, which was great, however you didn't put extra staff on with all these people, let alone Us who came there to eat. The 2 staff you had there ran there bottoms off, ppl had to wait up to 20 to 30 min to even get waited on...with big events, Please have more staff on.

Great course in great condition! Challenging test. It has hosted the MGA Amateur Championship and many USGA Amateur Qualifiers. Unfortunately, not convenient to get to ... but worth the effort.

Wow is what I have to say about this golf course. A very stunning course with spectacular views. The greens were rolling at an 11 or better, fairways and tee boxes were clean. The GPS system on the carts are top notch, I have only seen those type of interactive GPS carts at one other course. The best part is the playability of the course, wide fairways for many holes. I can see all types of handicappers playing this course and enjoying it. I play a lot of courses in MN and I am for sure going back as the drive is under 2 hours from the Twin Cities and they have a casino in town to make it a destination stay and play package. Very reasonably priced and looking forward to going back again.

Two days golfing at Dakota Ridge this past week. While it is a beautiful, well kept golf course - it was impossible to enjoy. The bugs on the course were insane. Not sure if it was from the recent rainfall, but everyone I talked to complained about the bugs. The second issue was that the restaurant’s cooler broke down. The menu was limited. We ordered a Texas burger that was served with jalapeños. When the waitress brought the burger - no jalapeño. I asked her about it - she said sorry we are out of those. Maybe should have mentioned that before - just saying. My friend ordered the carrot cake which was served with a pina colada sauce. The waitress brought the cake and there was no sauce in it. My friend asked about he sauce - the waitress said they were out of the sauce. What???? Again she didn’t mention it before hand. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing two days at Dakota Ridge.

Worst waitress. Ordered steak and crab legs, she failed to give us steak knives or the splitters for the crab legs; when we asked for them, she laughed sorry, I forget them in my pocket. She was less than tentative, dinner took more than 2 1/2 hours. Ordered steak medium-it was served more than well done!Food was cold by the time we received the steak knife, sour cream, cutters. Her service was awful, nothing to put our shells on other than the table itself. Had to walk to the bar to retrieve our credit card as she failed to return it. And PLEASE lady...STOP gnawing on your gum with your mouth wide open.

Second spring out group has played Dacotah Ridge. Love the course. Much more of a challenge when the wind is up (although, 30 mph winds were taking it a bit much! :) ). Course was in excellent shape, especially considering the winter and spring we have had. Tee boxes and fairways were in excellent shape and the greens were decent. The pro shop took good care of us, the carts are in good shape, and the on-cart GPS system is nice. The restaurant is much better than the casino's options for lunch and dinner. There was a girls' high school golf tournament on two of the days we played. Slowed play down some but not too bad. And, it was fun to see the course full and the excitement the girls brought to the venue was fun. Overall, a great venue and we had a great time. Looking forward to going back!

Carts have information displays. The course was super well maintained and they clean your clubs after you finish your round.

This is a hidden treasure. Waitresses were super nice. The food was very tasty but especially nice was the presentation. Lovely restaurant, very nice decor. Not at all crowded on a Sunday night. Overlooks golf course.

If you like links golf, this is the best course in MN. It is such an interesting course, beautiful, fast greens, and requires thoughtful approach shots. If you can stay out of the prairie grasses and the water hazards you can score well. It is usually windy but to be expected on a course in the country and prairie. Also, the pace of play is great and we never get paired up with other players. Make the trip to SW MN and golf here.

Anyone who has ever talked about Dacotah Ridge GC to me had nothing but great things to say about it. I golfed it for the first time the other day and now I understand why. It was absolutely worth the 2hr drive from Minneapolis and worth every penny! Phenomenal. On a side note, it was overcast and threatening rain, but never did. I played all 18 without seeing another golfer. Try to play a round like that in the metro, lol!

Waited all winter for the restaurant to open and we went on opening night. Very disappointed with the menu changes. Food was ok but not worth the trip out there again.
