Pretty little course, nice views, total gong show at twilight. Four-year old kid hitting into our group seemingly at his father’s encouragement, a drunken brawl outside of the clubhouse; it was an adventure to say the least.

I read a lot of bad reviews before going and was a little nervous about the experience. BUT, they were wrong. It was great. It was well groomed, we moved along speedily and the service was good. We saw 2 fox playing in the sun. Very cool. So, what you read before, don't let it stop you from going. Its nice.

Didn't expect this city course to be in such good shape. Really enjoyed it. Greens were faster than some private clubs I've played. Not as long as newer tracks but makes up for it with a fun layout. Try it

Really enjoyed the course. Played 17 holes at the twlight rate and shot an 88 which was 30 strokes better than my previous best. That is not to say that the course is easy, but just to celebrate my massive improvement that happened here.

Got to the 5th hole in an hour and 45min... when i said something about it, they didn't seem to care whatsoever. I just gave them back the key and said bye. Won't go back until they need to learn how to gap there tee times better.. honestly though, I'll probably never go back. Just thought you guys should know. Don't waste your money.

Golfed here for years. The staff is great, the price is great, but conditions are normally really poor. When all is working together early and late in the season it's a 5 but more often than not its a 3 star course.

For $56 bucks in the middle of Summer you can get a 5 hour round, no beverage cart, no water in the ball washers, and horrible course conditions!! Also, for anybody expecting a challenge, the tips are <6K yards. At least the clubhouse was nice and the hot dogs were good... I would never go back to this dump.

Each hole is unique and memorable. Lots of hills, challenging landscapes, and mature tree makes for a great aesthetic.

Better places to spend $40 to golf. Extremely boring golf, incredibly difficult greens, and everyone and their mother on the course. Didn't hate it but definitely wouldn't recommend it

Just got back from playing a scramble at Como, the greens are in really nice shape, no winter kill and rolling smoothly. This is a great course for honing your game, tough but not impossibly difficult. Long narrow tree lined fairways with uphill and downhill shots and subtle bends which require good ball placement for your next shot. Some holes require a little local knowledge so pair up with a someone who's played there before. You also might want a cart if you don't like hills, not impossible to walk but a good workout! 15 may be the signature hole a shortish par 4, 335 yds, with a long 90 degree bend around water, 3 of 4 went for the green- 2 were close!

The course is in wonderful shape, and the staff is friendly. The holes are not ridiculously long. If you have a medium Drive, you can still make it to the green on your second shot for most of the part fours.

Price was steep for a city course, even with it being a weekend. Grounds were maintained fairly well though and it had a good mixture of par 3s and 4s with a couple 5s mixed in.

Well this visit was in the winter, for cross country skiing so I can't speak for how well the greens are but the land to ski on is fantastic! Two simple loops which is about two miles in total. Enough light pollution that you don't need a head lamp even if you're on the non lit trails at night. I've head they even groom the trails but I haven't experienced that yet as this year , 2018, they closed early do to tree trimming on the course. Will look forward to it again next year!

Short course that's in good shape. The greens are terrific but I wish players would repair their ball marks! A shame, really. Plenty of driveable par 4's and/or a drive and a flip wedge. Not overly challenging but fun to play!

The course is a little short but is in excellent shape. Both the weather in 2017 was highly favorable for golf courses in MN, I think the new grounds crew is doing a great job.

I've been here a few times for the twilight rate and on one occasion it began raining hard on our way to the 4th hole and wouldn't stop. I suppose we could have looked at the radar before going but the fact that we weren't given a rain check was poor service. Since that time last year I've hesitated going there again but yesterday I made it back. Beautiful day outside for golf and we got there right at 6:00 to start a good twilight round. First thing we heard from the ranger as we hand him our receipts is "I'll be pulling the flags a little before sunset" so we had about 2 hours to get at least 9 holes in, do-able. However, on our way to the 5th hole they decided to turn the sprinklers on. It's already a busy course on a nice day with a wait at each tee box but with the sprinklers on and play slowed down it turned into multiple groups waiting to tee off. We called to ask them to turn them off and were told "There's nothing we can do". Worst regard to customer satisfaction at this course and it took nearly 3 hours to get a measly 9 holes golfed. ... The one pro I will give them is they do OK for taking care of the course aesthetically. Should repair for ball impacts on the greens more though since public courses are notorious for poor etiquette. The grass was also cut as expected too, no US Open style roughs.

Decent course. Fairly open with close holes...so don't just be picking up every ball that is not yours. Saw beer cart twice on back nine only. Maybe because it was Sunday they couldn't stay selling suds until afternoon? Although they were selling it at the clubhouse so that is probably not the case. You get what you pay for...I'll be back.

I had an outstanding time playing this course. Great challenge for walkers from all the hills and elevation changes. The greens are in tremendous shape and the course itself is very scenic, especially considering it's in the middle of the city. Jack, who works at the course, really excels in customer service. We had a slight mix-up with our tee time but Jack said not to worry and got us straightened out and on the course quickly. You will like this course for sure.

Fun course with dramatic elevation changes! Price is right for an afternoon of golf. Hot dogs at the turn overpriced and under cooked.....bring your own sandwich. Also, bring your own drinking water as I never saw any on the course.
