Course is in 3/5 shape. However no water stations. It's 90 degrees. I hit the clubhouse on the turn and try and by 2 waters for myself... nope, you need to spend $5 or we wont let you buy water they say. Ridiculous

This is our favorite golf course in the Grand Haven area for price and ease of access. Very friendly staff! Its a challenging course but not so difficult to make it hard to score well ...and they take good care of the fairways.

More like 3.5. Terra Verde may not have the nicest fairways, but the holes are creative and require some strategy. The carts may not be new, but the feng shui of the place is pretty cool the way it is tucked away in a hidden spot. It gets a little muddy after rain. My only complaint is that there is no control over tee times. If you have a tee time, don’t expect to tee off at your designated time. 3 groups pulled up to tee off ahead of me last time. Slow groups were not faster ones pass. I can’t stand this. CONTROL YOUR TEE TIMES!!!

This is the worst customer service i have ever seen from any business let alone a golf course. Any one that is looking to golf here i will warn you now that you need to be very cautious. The head of leagues and outings is a real jerk and is just terribly terribly bad all the way around. I dont know what the course is like because i was going to try it but when there is coupons out for buy one get one free on the entertainment website and the head guy says that they wont allow the coupon i say screw them.

As the guy below said, and a couple other reviews mentioned too... the woman at the front desk is awful. Dismissive was a perfect word for that prude. She's lost that company a lot of money. All because she's on her high horse. We thought we had found a new golf course to play at every week but thanks to her, we will have to continue the search. Doesn't matter the severity of any situation, nothing needs to be handled the way she decides to go about things. She acts like she's the owner. And maybe she is but wow, if only she wasn't so uptight and acted more like a human being... she'd get a lot farther, and quite a few more customers I'm sure.

Played in 2012&2013...Enjoyed my round for the course layout.....not so much with course conditions (fairways needs more watering and a greens keeper everyday). Didn't have problem with staff, but they weren't that friendly compared to other places. Play the course for what it is and for its history and remember not all courses are experienced with what's customary for rules, expectations and value....

The course continues to not make any improvements while the price keeps going up. This is the only golf course I have ever played at that doesn’t have sand traps. For the price your better off going to Eagle island or the country club I will not play here again. Me and my buddy went there and wanted to hit the range before we golfed and they didn’t even have any range balls....really lol? Seems like they don’t wanna make money this course is in need of new ownership and a lot of TLC. Wouldn’t be surprised if they go under in the next couple years a lot of golfers I know refuse to use this facility even though it’s local for us all.

Great course for the money. Good layout, and very reasonable prices. I'd much rather play here than some of the other similarly priced courses in the area and now that I know what I'm getting for my money I will be back. Greens were a bit soft and slow but I wasn't expecting perfection either. The staff seemed friendly enough and we didn't experience any customer service issues as on other posts. Maybe some of the staff has been "managed".

Staff is extremely unprofessional. Was cussed out and talked to like garbage for parking our cart in the rough which is completely normal at most courses. The people that run this place seriously need to take some anger management classes.

This was a fun little course to play and isn’t too difficult for under average players. I definitely was not impressed with the quality of the course. The employees were kind and were quick to help you. The price is not very high but I think that you don’t get what you payed for.

$30.00 for 18 holes on greens that were just aerated and terrible Sunday 9/27. Things have gone drastically downhill approximately 1 year ago when prices were raised and ownership has developed some sort of ego that this course is better than it really is. I play there up to 10 times a year with various friends, but it will take a lot for me to go back there again.

Poor conditions throughout. You need a guide to find the greens. The sand traps are not maintained, have gone to weeds only. Although inexpensive, there are better courses nearby with better value.
