Great course. Has just about every type of hole you could want. Wide open, narrow, dog leg, water hazard, sand trap city. 3, 4, and 5 par holes.

Lower end course, but considering the low price it is and great value. Sure the fairways aren't perfect, tee boxes rough, etc, but for a fraction of the cost of other courses, I would recommend trying a round here.

Best Golf Driving Range I have been too. Most Driving Ranges are on turf, this Driving Range is on grass. This gives you the ability to really work on your stroke!

In the past we have had exceptional food and service here. We even had our bridal shower here. Unfortunately I had a bad experience here this past weekend. We met a group of friends for dinner and I'm the one that recommended this restaurant. I had one of the specials, chicken piccata with garlic pasta. The chicken was so dry. The sauce was good but, the pasta was dry with no flavor. Then the waitress spilled a glass of wine on my purse, in my purse, on my friend and on me. Don't see myself going back for quite some time.

Went out with some friends, we only went to the driving range not the course so I can't speak for that. The grass was almost all dead and there was nothing but dirt for me to drive off of. We called it early and left our range balls because we didn't want to damage out clubs.

This place has slowly gone down hill. It used to be a decent public course with reasonable rates back in the day. Now it's poorly kept and overpriced.

Pretty nice course. There is a landfill next to the course so you get some nice views of that. It does flood pretty bad so I couldn’t recommend playing here after a rain. Also the line in the clubhouse moves pretty slow.

This is my first time golfing here the only reason I gave it one star was the greens were great ! Cut grass piles all over the place we played on the gold golf course. The golf cart paths were a joke look at the pictures ! I will never golf here again ! It's a shame the city isn't taking a interest in the up keep and spending some money in it !

This course has gone downhill the last couple years. Fairways, greens and tees used to be maintained much better. Now, there are bald spots in the fairways and greens as well with a lot more weeds. Some of the natural hazards could use trims as well. Practice facility also shows some neglect, especially on the three practice holes.

Played with my son and we are bogey golfers. Course in horrible condition. Fairway grass were different lengths and thick, we lost balls in the fairway and a foot or two in the rough. Played this course many times in the past years and was in great shape. Only played 9 of our 18 holes and was told I could only get a rain check. No good to me because I will not be back. Southgate's par 3 is in better shape when played last week.

So my friend and I were set to play Red Course to Blue Course. What they failed to tell us was they there was a League of 90yr old people on the Blue course and they had us make the turn right behind them. We ended quieting because it was 20+ minutes per hole. Second time they put us behind a league with telling us of the league when we made the tee time. If they have THREE course why put a twosome making a turn behind a SLOW league. Other then the poor attitude they gave us we did get a 9 hole raincheck. After we use the raincheck (making sure there's no league in front of us) we'll probably never play there again. Another note, why the hell is the water bottles on the 8th hole not on the 4th or 5th holes?

Decent course. Fun to play, not very difficult at all. Everything was in pretty good condition. Practice facility is huge with two driving ranges, one elevated way up on top of a landfill, which was pretty fun to hit from and you can see downtown Detroit from up there. They have three practice holes, an enormous putting green, and a chipping green. My only real complaint is that the smell from the landfill was pretty intense while playing our round. But we didnt smell anything at first while hitting balls directly off the top of the landfill.. go figure, lol. I guess it depends which way the wind is blowing.

All you can eat fish is very tasty, good fries. Friendly staff. (2 things new owners DIDNT screw up yet- like their menu cuts, and never having , say , chicken soup- but ALWAYS having "conch chowder"! ).**UPDATE: 5/18: chicken noodle soup is back! Also bringing back some lost customer-favorite entrees- come back & eat- you'll enjoy good food-(and live classic music by Tender Years band on weekends !)

I love this place, the layout - by a well known course designer, 27 holes, One 3 hole practice course, 2 practice ranges- one of which is a secluded high elevation, one of the biggest practice greens in the nation, very reasonably priced. I literally always enjoy playing and/or practicing golf there. The par fives are all a challenge to reach in two tho can be done on perfect hits. You can play the mens white tees or make the distance extra legit and play the back tees. Some the greens took a hit in the brutal 2014 winter, but the course is usually in fine shape. The only negative of the entire establishment are some of the people at the front desk can be indifferent or conceded. For example, lets say nobody is on the gold nine first tee at 2pm- a not too busy time there usually, we can see the open tee from the window, they will act like " do you have a tee time ? we are booked until 5;40". Give me a break, the tee is open. Its like they want to dictate and be in control. They need to correct that attitude. People go golfing to get away from dictating people for a diversionary sporting experience. Anyway, once I get on the golf courses there- I love it.

First time golfer went for a bachelor party on Saturday 11th. Thought the inside was pretty dingy and needs some updating. Bathrooms need some tlc had flies and one urinal was broke for men's. Women's unsure. But we had a good time, ladies on beer carts were nice but could make a lot more if they were more frequent. Only made it to our group of 9 just a few times. (We played 27 maybe 5 times we saw them.) Food was simple, hot dogs and bag chips and such. They were fine, but be nice to see a bratwurst or other selection. Nachos maybe? Overall had a good time and the course was pretty nice. Carts were clean and well kept. I will be back again to continue to try this game.

The course was in better condition than when I went in the summer but it was cart path only and was quite mushy. Used to be a beautiful course, hope they can bring it back to that condition. Always crowded though! Food is good at Sportmen's Den.

I was raised in Riverview Michigan but I don't know much about Riverview Highlands only that my sister and her husband Golf and they loved it there they say they atmosphere is beautiful and if you go into the restaurant the food is excellent we have gone there because of the shower baby showers and wedding showers but you would love it.
