Its a beautiful course and always in good shape. Unfortunately, the other guarantee when you play is a long round. I don't know many people who have 5 hours carved out of their weekend for a round of golf! The staff acts like they are running a country club. Treated me as if my discounted online tee time wasn't as important as the next guy.

Pilgrim's Run is the best golf value in the state! You feel like you are another 100 miles up north. Very playable with wide fairways and rough. The fact you can't see any other holes from the hole you are playing provides that special high end experience!

Northern Michigan golf feel and only 30 mins from GR! Large driving range that has many various targets, pro shop has tons of great logoed apparel and large practice green. No side by side holes so you really feel like you're out on the course alone. Each hole has its own set of challenges and makes for a very fun and memorable experience. A definite must visit!

Great golf course! Pilgrims is always in great condition and worth 5 stars. Truly the hidden gem of Michigan. However, I would not recommend twilight golf. I have played twilight golf five times, and all five rounds have taken 5 hours.

Very well maintained, with an awesome layout in a natural setting. A longer time between tee-times means you rarely see other golphers. Course rangers do their job to keep everyone moving making for an enjoyable experience for all. Pro Shop employees are professional and veryolite. The practice facility is well maintained with a very affordable range membership fee. Book one of the best golf lessons in Michigan by Jeff O'Malley. He is the best around!

I can't tell you what the course looked like, because I didn't actually make it out there. The staff was incredibly rude all the way from when I made the tee time until I got there to pay. The lady at the front desk told us it was close to the end of her shift as she rolled her eyes like we were bothering her with our question. We were incredibly turned off and left before we even golfed.

I've heard a lot about this course and all of it has been great. I finally got the chance to check it out and couldn't agree more. The course was in beautiful shape. It's fun and challenging but also forgiving. I will definitely will be back to play. The only complaint I had was a group of 3 behind us that jumped tee times to get out earlier and expected us to let them play through when we were ahead of pace and finished in 3 1/2 hours. We were the first group off the tee at 8am with no others on the tee sheet for a half hour. If we were holding up play that would be one thing, but we were ahead of pace. Be patient and enjoy the beautiful time on the course.

Great course a little off the beaten path but worth it. From tee to green top notch and the staff was very friendly. Stay left on one and drive up to see two green, other than that it is right in front of you. I will play again soon I am sure this course is beautiful in the fall.

What a pleasant and welcome surprise! I knew I was going to experience a great course from the moment I arrived. The staff is friendly and was attentive to my group's needs. No need to purchase range balls. Each cart comes with them. And, they are high-quality practice balls. The electric carts are clean and have plenty of room to store your golf gear They are outfitted with a USB port so your cell phone battery won't die using that golf course app. The course is fair. The rough gave this recreational golfer a chance while the sand was light and fluffy. The fairways were in great shape and the greens were not excessively speedy. Players' Assistants were evident and kept the pace moving. Bathrooms and rest areas on the course are clean and stocked with the basics. This course passed my beer can test with flying colors...I never saw one littering the course! A classy place without being pretentious! Kudos to the staff. Expect more visits from this golfer ;)

We played Pilgrims Run in beautiful weather over the July 4th weekend. The course was in pristine condition and beautifully maintained. We had been warned that the greens were lightning fast, which turned out to be only partially true. Down grain and downhill putts are surprisingly fast. The rest of your putts are moderate to slow. The greens do break a lot by design and it is hard to hold shots that land on the green from more than 150 out. The course is delightfully diverse. There are risk-reward holes, there are grip it and rip it holes, and if you like elevated greens, you will love Pilgrims Run. Not many ho hum holesA moderately priced delight.

Played Tulleymore and Pilgrim's Run in the same weekend last summer. Both courses are in comparable 'top-notch' shape. I prefer Pilgrim's Run on the soul reason you can play here for a considerable amount less and it isn't so far of a drive. Hoping to make the trip back up this summer from Indiana.

I play a significant amount of golf. All different courses. This is the best hidden gem course in Michigan. Not a single house on the course, the course is perfectly shaped throughout the woods. Course condition is above average. Prices are very reasonable. If you appreciate golf this is the course for you.
