Was here for the wedding and everything todo with the wedding was great but 2 star would be about the food If it was my wedding and they serve the food we received I would be very disappointed The main course was stuffed chicken breast what little stuffing was in it and the chicken was dry They had a macaroni dish with limited sauce very dry and I think it had very little meat if any in it Say at least I was very unimpressed with the entrees

Course was in great shape. Greens fast. Great deals. Clubhouse and food were great. Staff was friendly. Drove from western PA to meet a friend and play. With the saturation of courses in the Monroe area this one is at the top. I’ll be back.

A wonderful place to go for a round of golf oh, a lunch or dinner and there bar and grill, a drink on their patio, or use as a rental for a large special event! The staff is very kind and helpful and the facility is very clean as well as easy to navigate for any handicap guests!

Beware of weddings at the Legacy. If your looking for someone to help you plan a wedding, prepare for the beautiful day, don't expect anyone at Legacy to help you out. The staff was extremely unhelpful and rude to our guests. The food was frozen reheated garbage. The price started out ok but the upcharges were a nightmare. Bill & Emily Woods acted like they did not care how the wedding went. The (wedding planner) helped put on a couple chair covers and then left the place before the ceremony even started! They do not offer a tent for ceremony sight, so add $1,000.00 to your cost to rent one. The bar tenders kept cutting people off from drinking at the reception hours before our time was up. and to top off the most horrendous experience I have ever had they sent me a $450.00 bar bill 2 days after the wedding. Keep in mind I was paid in full. WEDDINGS AT THE LEGACY IN OTTAWA LAKE MICHIGAN... A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE FROM START TO FINISH.

Played at the Legacy today and my decision to not play here the previous two years was reaffirmed. $56 for 2 carts, not including greens fee. Over booked tee times. Greens look like the moon with all the divots. Hostile employees. I won’t spend another dime here. We were backed up with 4 groups on one hole and the rangers couldn’t handle it. Looked for my ball on 18 and was being yelled at by maintenance for looking for my ball. Management needs to take a lesson from some of the other courses in the area and they might get back on the right track. Until then, I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

Lovely venue. I attended a Food Tasting event. Wide variety of beef, chicken, pork, and a few vegetarian dishes. Classy, and classic! Very elegant for a wedding or other upscale type event.

DO NOT GOLF HERE!!!!! Staff is VERY unfriendly and the rangers pestered my family the whole round!! NEVER EVER PLAY AT THIS COURSE!!! BEDFORD HILLS IS 100% BETTER!! Please don’t waste your money with the rude staff!! Just a disgrace to golf!! Cannot believe this place. JUST SICKENING!!!

The course is great, good condition and good layout. However, pace of play is horrendous. Not to mention the fact that it’s over 90 degrees out and there isn’t a single water station on the entire course. The pace of play combined with the lack of water is a brutal combination and it is making it difficult to enjoy this quality golf course.

Cost effective gold course with lots of open space and few gimmick holes. I lost only 1 ball during the last round of 18, so that should speak for its openness and well groomed state.

We have never been treated as rudely at a golf course as we were today. A "starter" followed my daughter and I around coming up to us multiple times telling us how much time we had to make the turn in. We turned 9 in an hour and 40 minutes and were waiting on every tee. For him to pester us constantly and not realize the problem was 4 groups ahead was inexcusable. He also would ride up and speak in our backswing. He also obviously had a problem with female golfers as he questioned why my daughter was playing from the whites. I couldn't bite my tongue on that one as she is a scholarship collegiate golfer who drives the ball 250 down the middle and is a single digit handicap from men's tees. We will never return to this prejudiced/rude facility.

If I could give this place 0 stars i would. Been playing here since i was 11, and after already paying for my round I was told they were too busy to let me on. Had to refund my money and kick me out in front of all my friends... I thought these bullies were going to take my lunch money and make me eat dirt too. Go down the street to a different course! These guys do not deserve your business!

I book tee times for a local travelling golf league. Bill and Alan and their staff always welcome us and make us feel appreciated. The layout is clever and fun to play and the greenskeeper always has the course in wonderful shape. Our members look forward to playing here every season. We can't wait for the weather to break so we can enjoy THE LEGACY again.

i love this Golf course !!! Course is always in perfect shape. Tee's, Greens and Fairways always Great shape. The layout and number of Tee Boxes are one of the best in the area. I drive from Pinckney at least a couple times a Year to play at The Legacy.

This is a great place to golf and have a few drinks afterward. However, the fish fry on Friday evenings leaves a lot to be desired. It is pricey, the salad bar was a joke, and the fish was very greasy. When placing a second order ( all you can eat) they returned with one lousy piece. On the plus side.. the prices for premium beer was nice $3 for Becks. The golf course was very busy though. Yes, go and play golf, but eat somewhere else.

I had my wedding at The Legacy Golf Club in June 2013. It was absolutely perfect! We were doing an outdoor ceremony, overlooking the 18th green and pond. It ended up raining before the ceremony so they quickly moved everything inside to the dining room. The dining room has high ceilings and large picture windows so we still had the view overlooking the 18th green. We took pictures after the ceremony on the course and we were able to take some very fun and unique pictures. The reception was under a tent on the driving range so we had a beautiful view of the sunset on the course. The staff at The Legacy Golf Club was amazing!!! Everyone involved, the servers, bartenders, cooks, cart attendants, and the manager, made my day stress free. Other places we looked at had a set wedding package or price and were not able to work with you. The Legacy is willing to work with you and create a day that is truly unique!
