I’ve driven by this 100 times and finally stopped and played. Great track. Fun elevations. Tricky greens. Fair though. Wife and I played 8/20/19 (Tuesday in just over 3.5 hours. Highly recommend it. Nice alternative to the over-priced premium alternatives.

Really a nice place,usually great service. Putting is tricky if you're not familiar with greens.5 is the nicest hole and very parable if you get the club right.

Nice place for the price. Mosquitos were pretty bad bring some repellant. Clubhouse is limited in their food options. Paid $30 after 18 and golfed another 22 holes

Showed up for scheduled tee time but there was a 45 minute wait for carts. The gal at the front desk was very apologetic and put in a tough spot. She said they just got greedy and opened everything up. We ended up golfing down the road.

Course was beautiful but hope you like / are good with blind shots as they abound. I'd guess your second or third play here would feel a lot better, but first impression was great condition but frustrating..

Played the course years ago and thought it was average. Played it this year and found Grandview to be a remarkable improvement. You can tell that they put the money back into keeping the course in great shape. Will probably try one of their leagues next year too. Great job. P.S. I am only giving it 4 stars so everyone else won't start coming there. Some times you have to look out for number 1.

The golf course is always in good shape built on a beautiful piece of land with many scenic views. Putting greens will not disappoint but look closely at your putts they can be somewhat tricky. The builder / designer Robert Grimm put a lot of thought into the layout to make it enjoyable for all. Yeah he is my brother (designer) but as I said this golf course will not disappoint it is the kind of course that makes you want to play it again.

Every year when we venture north we struggle trying to decide whether to go to a favorite or add a new course to our resume. Looking over the few ungolfed courses in the Gaylord area I opted to schedule our group at Grandview in Kalkaska. It was a great choice, we enjoyed the day immensely. The staff was super friendly taking time to give us a few insights into the course that proved helpful. The course is well maintained and was a joy to play. It has several of those holes where you just have to take a picture. Everyone agreed I had made a great call and they want to include it in next years itinerary.

Fantastic course and the team at the course is even better. We were caught in a torrential down pour last year and they had bath towels for us when we arrived at the clubhouse. Food is pretty good also.
