The food was cold, meat tuff, salad poor. Never go back. $25 per person wasted. Slow service and not ready for us at 6pm.
Had my wedding here a couple of year ago. Brian was fantastic to work with and the food was fantastic! They even fed the kids earlier to keep them happy! Beautiful in all my pictures, beautiful and clean facility and just a great staff!
Love fellows creek. Three 9 hole courses. Fairways are great. Greens are true. Staff is friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Brian and his team are beyond amazing! Fellows Creek hosted our wedding and planning was a dream from beginning to end. The food was fantastic, the staff made you feel at ease and taken care of at every turn. If I need a venue for anything else, we will be back, I cannot say enough wonderful things! I have been to hundreds of venues as a wedding planner throughout the years but no one offers as much as a full service venue at a phenomenal price!!
Ok
Very nice course
Food bad golf ok
Great place to play golf
Best
Nice course, friendly staff, reasonable fees. We will come back for sure!
Good course. Well kept. Bit of advice...bring lots of bug spray! The mosquitoes are the worst I've ever seen here. My friend and I got destroyed by them. It was so bad we couldn't even finish the back nine. Yikes!
My Dad, Daniel Harmon was a employee at Fellows Creek and enjoyed working during his retirement with his colleague's. He passed away while golfing during his off time this course do to a malfunctuon in his pace maker after a incredible putt. Please make a comment of appreciation of your experience when visiting if you know " Dan ". Thank you!
Wonderful place
I play there with my high school team and it is just amazing. I've been to many courses around and this is by far the best course.
Average course...
Very nice, went to wedding here, beautiful venue, Sara n Glen Bishop. 2018
It can take a while for the 1 beverage cart to make it around the three nines. Stock up before you tee off.
mediocre course. you won't miss much.
I think they are open all year round.
Very well maintained. The staff was very accommodating and Pleasant. Had a lot of fun recommended for all levels of golfers.
My 3 kids played here yesterday and each one came home with more than 40 bug bites. Make sure you bring your bug spray.
First timer at this course, not bad. Cozy up in an early Spring Sunday in February, enjoying the warmest weekend in history, cannot complain, life
Very nice golf course
Golf course was a tight shooting gallery. The Greens were just okay but shaggy like a 7. The layout of golf cart staging, bag drop and over all aesthetics is well below standard. All of that should be a 4 star but the staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. No greeting from the starter but when we asked "We are here to play can we put our clubs on any carts from the 40 that are staged?" He said, "No, you have to check in the pro shop first." So we found the only bag stand near the entrance of the pro shop, which was on the other side of the clubhouse from the parking lot. As we checked in, the counter staff was on the phone with his head down and no acknowledgement that we walked in. A few minutes later we paid and didn't even know which 9 we were to start on. The Starter had taken off and the cart attendant tried to help but clearly didn't have the training or didn't want to step on the starter's job. All in all it was just well below a passing grade for a golf course. I have worked in every job a golf course and have 20 seasons in the industry and have been playing golf for 41 years. I would give a grade of 40%. I know the management company and won't call them out but will be avoiding the rest of their courses.
Played 18 here yesterday. We teed off at 430 with a foursome and were done by 830. Unbelievable as we teed off sandwiched between 2 leagues. The course was in great shape considering the drought we've been having. Quick service at the bar, with some excellent craft beers on tap, clean bathrooms. Couldn't be happier.
Course was in great shape. I was very pleased with the price for the quality of course.
Good course some tough holes
Very very good courses in great shape as always
Nice course!
Great course. It can be challenging at some times. Still a great course.
Course in great shape. Some challenging holes.
Nice
Clean restrooms and good food. Only at banquet hall.
Over booked. Had to wait at the first tee box for 25 minutes.
Good experience
Nice place for a wedding. Food was good.
Outstanding
The food was extraordinarily terrible at two separate events at the clubhouse. The family and friends at the events got the party kickin but the catering was absolutely the worst. The golf was fun.
(Translated by Google) It 's too tiring because it' s a holiday today. The rates are cheap (Original) 오늘은 휴일이라서 시간이 너무 지치네요. 요금은 저렴하고
Great place
Not a bad course, seems to be a little confusing for hole placement based on the markers at the tee.
27 holes. Course well maintained. Highly recommend over other courses in the vicinity.
Great golfing.good food friendly people
Good course that is well maintained. Provides a nice challenge. Can be a bit pricey.
Just had another school banquet there good food good service
Played in a craft beer scramble and it was awesome. Craft beer samples at every hole. Course was in great shape
Te food was hot, the meat was juicy, salad was awesome, I'll always come back. $25 per person was the greatest money I've ever spent!
Nice inexpensive alternative to Pheasant Run, has leagues all summer.
Thank you Patty! You were able to step into an unknown wedding arrangement and put all of the pieces together...everything was perfect start to finish! The Evans-Hood family.
It was ok. Staff was friendly and course was green but very wet/thick with lots of grass clippings and LOTS of bugs/mosquitos. I can deal with that stuff but what I didn't really care for was that the holes are all stacked on top of each other. So because of that and how busy they were, everyone was hitting into each other. I don't think longer times between golfers would have made a difference because of everything being so close together. It wasn't just us or the people behind or in front of us hitting into each other, if anyone's ball went a little left or right, it was in somebody else's fairway, green or teebox. So I can't really blame them for that, it's just the design of the course in my opinion. They'd have to redesign the course or allow 20-30 minutes in between golfers and that's not happening so..... Lol. Never tried the food or bought beer or anything so I can't really comment on that. Really torn between the 3rd and 4th star but you can take your cart into the parking lot to your car and get your bags rather than walking them to the bag drop which for a lazy person like me is a huge plus.
My buddy had his wedding here a couple weeks ago and the whole event, from golf in the morning, great banquet room, service and great food, earns a 5 star. I have been to a couple outings here in years past and the service and food are pretty consistent.
It was a good time for everyone at the outing and everything was great.
Horribly managed
Nice course, although the rough was way too long. It was a little wet in spots too (south nine has been closed for 3 or 4 days). Maybe the wetness contributed to the high rough. Would have rated a 4, but lack of a ranger made play on the second nine a bit slow. One twosome slowed down three groups behind them, having to wait on almost every shot.
Our niece just had her wedding and reception at Fellows Creek. It was beautiful! Brian and his staff did a wonderful job!
The service is second to none! They take the stress out off hosting any event. I would recommend Fellows Creek to anytime.
Always a good and reliable golf course to play on, enjoyed playing the south 9.
Nice course.
Good course at a reasonable price. Holds a little water, but well maintained.
No complaints at all golf course has turned around so nicely the last couple years. My favorite course to go play in Canton!
Lovely course with a nice layout. Priced appropriately. Course difficulty is 6/10
Always a great experience
Course was in nice shape but is way overpriced. I expected a long day since it was Father's day but an hour to play 2 holes is ridiculous. Stater told us they were pairing up twosomes, but we had 2 in front of our 4some .The South course is a shooting gallery you never know who's playing what hole. I had not played here in along time and it will be when hell freezes over before I return. Had to skip the last 3 holes cause it would have been a 6 hour round had other things to do than sit and wait 20 minutes between shots.
Graduation party .
Good Course
My four star rating is premised upon (1) what Fellows Creek tries to be, and (2) the assumption that like most golfers, shooting a 90 on a course with a slope less than 120 can be enjoyable for you. Fellows Creek aims at being a fairly low priced municipal course offering an entertaining round of golf. The course fills that role admirably. We played the East and South courses - there is also a West. The course is fairly flat, but trees abound and the water hazards, tho few, are strategically placed. With the exception of a few fairly long par fours (375–400) with water hazards forcing laying up if you don't smoke a drive, the holes are fun without being overly challenging. The greens had recently been areated and were bumpy, but otherwise in good conditions. Most of the landing areas were generous, and the primary danger off the tee was trees – most of the fairways adjoin strips of forest. There are a few water hazards in play off the tees, but not many. The par threes are challenging, but again fun to play. While the green maintenance was good, the course maintenance was only average. The course appears to get a great deal of play, and we played late in the season. Evidence of heavy play on the tees and surrounding the greens was obvious. Amenities off the course were Spartan, but we played the course in mid–October. The pro shop was modest and the menu at the grille was obviously adjusted for the season and traffic. At the end of the day, Fellows Creek is a bargain – a fun round of golf at a moderate price. I would urge you to walk the course if possible, as the course was clearly designed for walking. I think you will enjoy your round if your expectations are tempered by this review.
Beer is always cold, course is a bit narrow but i enjoy the challenge
Great local golf course
very nice banquet hall
I only wish there were more stars! We chose Fellows Creek for our daughters wedding (September 1, 2018) and couldn’t be more thrilled. The food? Incredible! The facility? Beautiful! Our host Brian? The most accommodating, customer focused, friendliest man you will ever encounter. Nothing was off limits, no request not fulfilled, no detail left unattended. The amazingly friendly and professional staff at Fellows Creek took great care of us and our guests. I have a happy bride and groom, a happy wife, and happy memories. Thank you so very much!
Excellent golf and sledding
Rude workers.
Fun course
Beautiful course
Course is in great shape.
Attended a wedding reception here, the food was spectacular. The staff was very accommodating for food allergies. Everything looked wonderful, crisp, and clean.
My company has entertained at Fellows Creek Golf Club in Canton, Michigan on two occasions. Each time, General Manager, Brian Brown paid impeccable attention to his client’s (my mutual client’s) planning details, served an outstanding meal and was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!
Really nice golf course. Reasonable prices. Great staff.
Great course! Very challenging and fun to play! Tee boxes and greens are in very good condition. There are a lot of bunkers and some are deep bunkers that can hold water after a heavy rain, so it's understandable that some might not be in the best of shape.
No water in the ball washers but other than that a fun track
Overpriced. $25 for 9 holes and a cart is absurd for April golf. Course was nothing special
Good very descent.
Great course , great elevation changes would play again in a heartbeat
Food was terrible.
Excellent course and staff
Pleasantly surprised! Fair course for ALL....VERY playable conditions when I visited/SUPER friendly staff/unhurried pace for accompanying beginners. The ONLY drawback is incomplete cart path - course could be better marked, either on paved portions or signposts. WILL visit again!
It was a company party so not to much to criticize or brag about.
Course management is horrible! If you like 6 hour rounds I’ve found your course!
Good round of golf
Staff is great
27 hole course that has some challenges but isn't overly difficult. It's in great shape this season.
Don't visit here
Not a bad little track for the price. Seems like there's a lot of bad spots in the fairways this season and the greens are full of ball marks. Maybe firm them up a little to help out? The beer is cold, the food isn't bad and the staff is friendly. The greens yesterday were like putting through an exploded mine field and half the fairways were so soft and soggy the club took a beaver pelt for a divot instead of what it should be.
Good
Nice track, good prices. Spartan facilities. Nice bar/grill when open.
Nice 27 hole course
This is a sweet course. Narrow fairways help keep your game focused. Grounds crew keep this course in good shape. A good value as price per round is reasonable.
We enjoy this course. There are 3 nine hole courses. We like South & West. East is quite tight...side by side holes.
Very nice course. Very well kept.
I watch this course improve since moving here. I love the three 9 hole courses. The East and West are my favoites.
Reasonable rates good place to get out if you can't get out of the city
Very nice, staff was friendly and helpful!
I was only able to golf the same 9 holes twice, but the course was well maintained and a lot of fun. I was glad to have visited.
Beautiful 27 holes with challenging terrain. One of my favorites.
Nice venue for a wedding
A beautiful course. The fairways are narrow and challenging. However, I would definitely recommend playing it.
I have played the course and returned many times due to the price and well maintained nature of the course. The staff is outstanding!! Definitely my go to curse in the Detroit Metro area.
Nice hall to rent with good food.
