I love this course. It is so pretty, but I have stopped playing here because the fairways are so tight and on top of each other. Even if the course is not backed up, you feel like you are playing with the people on the next fairway . The course is well kept and beautiful. Challenging tight fairways-keep your ball straight or you are playing from 2 fairways away.

Nice course. Very hilly, (that's why it's called Dunham HILLS!!!). Some of the holes are not well marked (no number). Great clubhouse & I like the electric golf carts. Staff is nice & price was good, ($22 for twilight after 3pm)

My wife and I had my youngest sons wedding reception here in February. Lee was our point of contact and is delightful as well as professional in her approach to business and clientele. She made us feel very comfortable and is a great chef on top of being a great host. We cannot recommend highly enough our experience with the Dunham Hills staff who made the wedding reception a flawless enjoyment to all who attended. If you are considering any kind of event in the future, Dunham Hills Golf Club is a wonderful venue for your family and friends. Highly Recommended!!

Course was in great shape. Greens are fast and challenging breaks. A couple of the par 4s are a bit on the long side, but overall a fair contest.

Hadn't played this course in a while. Always enjoyed it & did today despite the wind making it even more challenging than it's usual toughness. Probably the most demanding driver tee shot course one can play as you must aways hit it on the correct side of the fairway or you will roll thru the fairway and into the tall trees in the rough. The greens were very firm & quite fast so even though you MUST stay below the cup, was hard to do. Feel the slope the greens with your feet to get a good read as there are so many big hills all over the course it is tough to read them strickly by looking.

Costed us a golf outing when the staff miss placed a deposit and the gm called us liars telling told we never did. Cameras might be something you need.

Quality of this course is top notch. The hills are intense and the greens are some of the best that I've played. My only gripe is that a lot of the holes run really close to each other and make playing here kind of unsafe. I was even hit by a ball on my ankle. Luckily it was light tap and I barely noticed it. Danger aside, I would definitely come back.

Went to the fish fry tonight...arrived at 5:30 left at 7 without being served. Staff was disorganized, and unaware of what to do. They were short staffed apparently but how hard is it to deep fry fish and fries? They can't serve a few people in an hour and a half? Good grief! If they want to make a go of this they'd best get some staff who can provide basic service and haver back up help for when someone can't be there.

I believe that the most important component of a golf course are the greens. If it is true you pay for greens than Dunham Hills is a bargain. The greens are fast and firm. The only complaint is that they are tricky to read with lots of subtle break. I played it twice and the 2nd time reading the greens was better. Very hilly too which is a nice change of pace for Michigan golf..

Staff here were great. The facilities were excellent. Food was perfect. Sadly I'm not a golfer, so I can't comment on that, but it certainly is a beautiful place.

All the grass on the back 9 was completely dead. Ground was completely bare and down to hard dirt. The cart girl said someone mixed the wrong chemicals in the grass fertilizer for the greens and it completely killed all the grass. Do not play this course in 2019, these green will not recover this year. Watch out!!! I was not given a warning about this before hand and was not given any sort of discount. Garbage greens!!!

Do you like tight tree lined fairways with few flat lies? Then this is the course for you! I've also played here when the greens had to be running 13+ on the stimp meter. Lots of subtle breaks too. I think it's a great little course that can eat you up if you're not careful.

This is a great course in a beautiful setting, with reasonabe rates. We have always found it to be worth the drive from the Troy area. However, we (foursome) played this course yesterday and were surprised and disappointed in the terrible shape of 8 greens on the back 9. They are, in our opinion, simply unplayable. The front 9 greens are in great shape, so the 10th green was a shock. I called a few days ago to make the tee time and was not informed of this issue, nor were we told when we checked in. One staff member told us the greens were "cut too short and then over fertilized." He estimated a "month or two" to get them back, but I'll be surprised if it doesn't take a year. Suggest anyone playing here ask for an update on the condition of those 8 greens. This is an otherwise 5 star course, but right now I sadly have to give it a one star.

We had our daughter's wedding at Dunham Hills in May. We couldn't have been more happy. Lee is amazing! From the first time we met her she felt like a friend. She made a very hectic time easy and fun. Her staff the night of the wedding was equally as great. Our guests loved being out on the beautiful patio and the food was wonderful. If you are looking to host any event in the Hartland area I would highly recommend Dunham Hills.
