You may have noticed that it has an average rating is nearly the best one, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can be pretty sure that the evaluation is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to give reviews when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Golf is included in the category of Golf club.
Great course, friendly rangers.
Course in fantastic condition. Greens are great. Can't wait to play it again.
Outstanding course. Another great Palmer design. Proved to be brutal to us weekend amateurs. But we still loved the layout. A must play. Just bring your A+ game.
Beautiful tough course. Price is right.
This place provides a great challenge for all skill levels!! Its a hidden gem of the fenton area!! Will be a consistent customer!!
Beautiful coarse well kept.
Great, beautiful and challenging course! One of my favorites!!
Nice looking course, best price for driving ranges around.
It’s a trek from Royal Oak indeed. Especially on a Friday. As a wedding and corporate Dj I’ve a considerable amount of experience at venues statewide and certainly in the southeast Michigan area. My events have been in the main venue hall and a summer location both. I’ve been involved with ceremonies onsite as well at both. I’ve always found the staff to be nice, attentive to detail and professional. Those are critical in the big day. In addition the food was good as well. I think the scenery here is top shelf and I like the vibe overall. I will say though candidly the summer locations (I thought I’d heard there are 2) not being air conditioned can be challenging in the heat.
Great course, unique and challenging. Beautiful views!
Loved this course. Lots of hills, trees, traps, blind shots, gap shots, bunkers, and water. Greens were fast, fairways were well manicured, and tees boxes were acceptable. One of my favorite courses after playing here for the first time. Can be pricey. I paid $22 on Golfnow.
Great course a lot of fun
It a great golf course. The crew has tamed it a bit over the years and it is still difficult. The closing 3 hole either ruin or make your day. The staff is great and works to make it a great experience.
Horrible experience, unless you were a part of the Fenton wrestling team event which was a treat to play during. Got to pay $55 for an off season third rate round. If it wasnt the bad course condition that upset you(in that case why charge $55?) It was the non presence of the course ranger checking the pace of play, or maybe it was having to hear loud announcements over the PA system while you are teeing off, but really it should be having to hear a modified firearm that can launch golf balls down the fairway, or perhaps it could all be summed up by witnessing that one bunker that looked like it was put together by a dad that had been pressured weekend after weekend to make a sand pit for his two year old to play in by his wife. No what takes the cake was the $4 hot dogs served in week old dried out hot dog buns. Never will I grace this establishement with my hard earned dollars again.
Beautiful course!!
Overall the course was in great shape. This place is a gem of a course challenging from tee to green for the weekends to the player. Have always made the 30 minute drive from South Lyon to enjoy this course.
Whether it’s hosting a graduation party, a golf league, or just playing a round the coyote will not disappoint. Mike, John, and Cameron will be sure to take of you. Their friendly attitudes cater to an awesome environment at an exceptional golf course. Be sure to stop by and give the Coyote a shot don’t forget to try the food after bc the food is fantastic too.
Tough but great course.
A beautiful course. Well kept. Many gorgeous holes. But very tough. Play on a cool day when well rested. Plan to add 5 strokes to your normal score. Per 9.
Terrible condition
I really enjoyed this course. It's fairly tough. It is well maintained. This course has some major elevation changes. I played 18 on a sunny day; it was just about perfect
Great golf course. One of Michigan’s finest golf courses. We golf there 5 times a year.
Phenomenal course layout, but the rate of play was dicey at best. Making the turn, we had 3 groups on the teebox waiting to tee off and two groups already on the hole. As a seperate aside, the green speed consistency and a majority of the bunkers could use some quality control.
Nice place. Wedding was very nice. Building was hot. Had to leave. Ever heard of site conditioning? Wow. Ruined my night.
Awesome course. Total up north feel
Great layout and nice greens. Challenging.
Today I went to The Coyote Preserve. The course was in great shape. The greens were in okay but everything else was great. They let my girl friend ride along for free with me in the cart. The Majestic did not so I left and went to the preserve. This is a tough course which I love. Beautiful setting and some really fun holes to play. The staff is great as well.
A very challenging Arnold Palmer layout. The final three holes are impressive. The course is always in excellent condition.
Course was challenging was in great condition Loved it would recommend to all
Awesome course, nothing bad to say about it.
One of the better golf places in the area. Very nice pro shop. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for
This coarse will definitely make you better on other courses. Lots of sand and hills. Tough but worth it.
Great condition. Difficult course. A couple of really odd layouts for holes. I wouldn't play it unless you shoot below 90 regularly or if you are playing in a scramble.
Absolutely beautiful course. On vacation from Ireland visiting family. Great course, tough but thoroughly enjoyable.
Great staff / on the course and in the clubhouse . Will go back.
Nicest golf course around the area HANDS DOWN. everything from the staff to the fairways and greens and even golf carts. Very tough course you would think you were 200 miles north. It’s a very nice course. Get what you pay for ten fold.
Was a great place to golf staff is great, course is excellent . Thank you all.
Course was beautiful but Im not coming back for 5 years you need expirence or you just need to be good in general to play here. This was my 3rd time playing ever and was one of the most frusterating days ive had.
Played last weekend (early April) and the course was in decent shape for how early in the season it was. This is a challenging course (especially for a mediocre golfer like me), but well thought out. There are some nice (and again, challenging) water features along the course.
Nice place and they did a nice job with the food and service for our function. I would recommend the Preserve to others.
Excellent course with spectacular views.
Great course!
Absolutely beautiful course!!! Drove down from Gaylord as all of our courses up here are closed for the season now and I wasn't the least bit disappointed in my choice to drive 2 1/2 hrs south. I will be back for sure many more times...#16 and I have a score to settle!!! lol The staff albeit a skeleton crew for Nov golf was very friendly and welcoming...thank you for the awesome hospitality gentlemen!
Wow what an amazing course. Challenging but really fun to play, a lot of hazards to hit over and many well placed bunkers. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the course was in good shape. This is now my favorite course to play, well worth the drive.
I typically don't rate courses, but the grounds crew has made up for themselves. Last year this place was borderline unplayable because of the condition of the traps. I've played here 3 times this year, and can finally say it's worth the …
I work there
Very nice course. Will go back for sure.
Just like this layout, Arnie has a way with making enjoy a tough round.
Good price. Course in great shape. Staff very nice to all our group. Definitely will return.
Fantastic golf course. A tough test for your golf skills. Fast greens, lush fairways and one picturesque hole after another. A must play!
Incredible "up north" style course for being so close to home. A bit pricey though but worth it!
I played this course about 20 years ago. I was hard and in good shape. Played today. Its still a great place but..the cart paths are awful. the conditions are average. Greens are a mess. the bunkers have not been attended to ..just average public course. I feel like i just left Cedar Point from the cart paths. getting around a golf course is just as important as playing.. Arnold would roll over if he saw this place... it needs a million bucks to bring it back...just saying..
Nice layout. Course could be awesome. HOWEVER, the course was not well kept at all. Greens were slow and not close to true. just aim at hole no matter the break. Sand traps extremely wet and some flooded. Tee boxes not maintained. Pace of play SUCKED with no rangers on back nine. For $50 I will go somewhere else.
This is one of the more challenging yet rewarding golf courses in Michigan! I can not tell you another course I have played that has more spectacular views on the front nine!
One of my two favorite courses for the price. Has enough for a slight challenge to make it interesting, but not super difficult. Very well maintained and prices are very reasonable.
The golf course was in excellent shape. The greens were great. The service rate of $35.00 was a very nice fee. The only disappointment was the bar/ restaurant area was closed due to an evening event. They had a mini bar set up in the pro shop... not a real good setting
Bummer. This place use to be amazing. First fairway was an absolute wreck with 2" long grass, 2nd hole has trees that were cut down and now stacked wood is on the course, 3rd tee box had 16 guys standing on it - after I had secured a tee time prior to arrival. They did give my $ back though, so cudos for that.
Great food. Beautuful golf course and clubhouse.
Great course....well cared for and alot of fun to play.
Tuff course, lost four balls, but good price , 27 for 18 and cart. Senior rate starts at 50.
Way to hard lol
Only drove thru and I would say looks amazing
Love the course but a 6 hour round is absolutely ridiculous. I will not be back anytime soon. Plan on spending your entire day here unless you get the first couple of tee times.
We had our company Christmas party at coyote preserve very nice space and a great staff.
Very nice golf course. Arnold Palmer signature course. Tough to play but a good time.
I've enjoyed playing the Preserve for several years. On this most recent visit, the course was in good condition. Tees and fairways were well maintained. Greens were fast, rolled true and well manicured. Pace of play was ok. Our group played the front nine quickly but caught the tail end of an outing on the back, which slowed things down a lot. Was disappointed that there was no food other than hot dogs. Kitchen closed on weekends.
Played in a 144 person scramble/funndraiser a few weekends ago, awesome track and staff. Dinner after outing was very good.
Worth the drive. Worthy of all its accolades. Grounds are impeccable. And the staff is very friendly. Senior daily rates for the quality of course are second to none !! 5-stars plus.
Beautiful golf course, great scenery. Very challenging. If your anything more than a 12 handicapper you may want to consider going somewhere else. If your just an average weekend hacker and you decide to play here, forget your scorecard and just relax and enjoy your surroundings.
Wonderful, helpful staff. Great place for any kind of party you are having. Highly recommend.
REALLY enjoyed my day and round there.
This is such a good course. It's in great shape, greens are really good, and it's tough. The people at this golf course are real friendly also.
Great golf course
Great staff! Very helpful! Brought cart out to my car and back. Mike in the shop was friendly as can be. Course conditions were great for April, greens cut and rolled. It is a very challenging course. I suggest played it forward, especially …
Great course, you will want to go back....
Difficult but beautiful course for seniors.
Very nice and peaceful escape to wildlife while playing a round of golf. Decent price and upkeep will always keep me coming back. Weekly leagues as well if your into that.
Very challenging and well manicured golf course. I would not recommend for new golfers.
