Fantastic course, one of the nicest I've played in a long time. Ground were impeccable and the staff made us feel like we'd been members for decades. Won't have a reason to play here again, as well traveled a long distance to participate in a special outing, but I will certainly be dreaming of having an excuse to return someday!

One of my two favorite courses in the state of Michigan. This course and Forrest Dunes in Roscommon are awesome courses. Almost every hole is challenging and some of the views are simply amazing. A lot of holes are over water and a lot of holes make you think tee off or approach the green. I highly recommend this golf course.

This review has to do with a possible club purchase. Stopped in this morning looking for a new driver since my old one cracked in half. Specifically looking for Titleist and Srixon both of which they carry, asked the gentleman at the front desk if they had any demo clubs that I could hit. He stated only on the fitting carts and I have to set up an appointment with the pro in order to hit the clubs. Any other place I have been has allowed me to hit anything I want, they just taped them up. Needless to say they lost a sale and I will tell everyone about my experience. Such poor service from such a high end facility! I actually bought a set of irons from Buck's over a year ago, now I wish I hadn't.

This is a great course, I don't get to play golf much these days, but I had a wonderful time out there recently. Very picturesque course. Bring extra golf balls it has some tough holes, but totally worth it. I also love that you see very few homes on or near the course.

Holy cow, beautiful course and amenities, high slope of 137 from the whites and the real challenge is putting on the greens which are tiugh.

Nice as usual....greens seem very rootless which makes them unfairly fast...... Very hard to hold a ball from 150 even if ya hit right into it.... And dont forget mosquito spray they get lil thicker everyday

We came to get Thanksgiving buffet here the food was rather expensive and the food was very cold not well taken care of it's like they put it on the line and just left it sit don't be the last person in line not worth the money in my opinion.probably why the staff didn't want me to look at the buffet before I bought it. Beautiful golf course though

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Bucks Run. The venue is absolutely beautiful. We had our wedding on the golf course, as well as the reception inside the reception hall, and we got so many compliments about how beautiful everything was. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They treated us with so much respect and were SO helpful throughout the planning process, as well as on the day of the wedding. With working with Alanna, I felt like I had a partial wedding planner because she took care of so much for me. The staff put up all of the decorations for us. All I had to do was drop everything off the night before the wedding, and the only thing that I needed to do the morning of was set up the pergola (which I probably would have wanted to do anyway, since I knew how I wanted it to look). They had a golf outing the morning of the wedding, so I do have to say I was very nervous when it was getting very close to the wedding time and our reception hall was still not set up yet. However, the staff reassured me many times that they do this every year and that everything would be set up in time. And they were right, I had nothing to worry about. They set up everything on time, and each decoration was flawless. I am so grateful to Bucks Run because of how much stress they took off of me and my family on our wedding day. Because of their wonderful staff, we were able to enjoy our perfect day with little to no stress, and for that alone I would highly recommend Bucks Run for a wedding venue!!

I played here last month. The course was in fantastic shape and the greens rolled fast and true. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed lunch at Quarry Grill with the Jalapeno Bacon Chicken sandwich. I look forward to returning next summer.

We visited Buck’s Run over the weekend, on Friday I believe. The restaurant part of the course was great. However the service of bev cart was not. It took forever for someone to come to any of the holes and get us drinks. The girl who finally came up to our hole had dark hair and tan skin, can’t remember her name but she’s definitely young. Didn’t seem to know what she was doing and didn’t seem professional. We saw her sitting around a lot. Good food inside but poor service outside.

If you are thinking about having the perfect outdoor wedding, this is the place for you. Bucks Run Golf Club was the perfect place since we first came in, beautiful views, amazing staff and incredibly good food! We couldn't ask for more. All the staff was super helpful and attentive every second of our wedding. Our special thanks goes to Amy, who was there helping and making sure our day was perfect from beginning to end. She took care of EVERYTHING, she definitely will take the stress off your shoulders during your big day, we LOVED working with her. I will recommend everything of this venue: the food, which has so many options and a large menu, the views, the service, the staff and 100% recommend for the price. Thank you Amy and thank you Bucks Run Golf Club, we definitely had the perfect wedding day!

If I could give it a zero I would. It is a beautiful course but completely miss managed. Let a group of 12 go in and eat a long lunch and backed up the whole course. They didn’t even care. We had to wait the whole front 9 as well. As we were making the turn they were all lined up. We asked if we could play the front 9 again and they said it is booked for the rest of the day. It was 3 pm. Will never be back to this course. How disappointing.

Beautiful piece of land with the river and ponds. Loved the layout and flow of the course. Thought the greens were in excellent shape considering it was April when I played. From the white tees this was 1 fun course! I would normally give Bucks Run 5 Stars but the green fees are a little steep in season.

Bucks Run is a beautiful course with outstanding conditions.......tee boxes, fairways and greens all terrific! Great layout that players of all levels can enjoy. GPS on carts is a very nice touch. Also high marks for the clubhouse and staff....we dined in the restaurant and it was excellent.

I was watching my husband play golf last week; when the beverage cart girl, Kristen, drove up to our hole. She was very unprofessional in how she spoke and gave us the wrong beverage. She blantanly flirted with my husband and was rude to me. The golf course, however, was very nice to see. Will go back, but hoping to see another beverage cart girl.

Ed the bartender “cut us off” for ordering a hotdog and sandwich at the turn. Never seen anything like that. We ordered both items from the cart at the 8th hole and when we asked to have them split in the bar, politely, he said we were cut off. Not even sure what that was supposed to mean. I did get my hot dog but wasn’t even ordering an alcoholic beverage. It didn’t affect my day because I wasn’t ordering an alcoholic beverage anyway, but just really threw me off. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a golf course. Perhaps he mistook me for someone else... not sure. But the damage is done. Never coming back.

Great Course - front 9 is very tight but the inward 9 is such a treat. I golf the Disney Courses each winter and this course is a must do if you are in or near the area.

Went there last week for lunch. Lunch was fine but the guy serving us, Ed, was not attentive. He had a rude vibe and didn’t seem like he was wanting to be there. Like I said, food was fine but our server was not the best. Request someone else if visiting there.

I can some good things and bad things about the experience there. The good things are that the food is amazing and the prices and scenery are good. But the bad things are are that our server who I believe was mark was not good. Very awkward and not attentive. Seemed “busy” for it being slow. Got many things wrong and seemed to have an attitude with us. Good and bad things. Maybe next time we’ll get a better server. Mark in our opinion is not good. Such a high scale restaurant should have high scale servers and he is not.

Attended a wedding at this most gorgeous venue. Such a beautiful setting. Facility was top notch. View of the course is picturesque. Staff was awesome! Witnessed one staffer walk up to an elderly woman with a walker and offer to go through the buffet and get her food for her, as well as carry it back to her table. Food was good, but I wouldn't say great. Overall, very memorable experience.
