In Oct 2018 my husband and I did our formal wedding there. With no power due to a storm earlier in the day. They still had my ceremony and reception and it was perfect. Better can I ever could imagine. And they keep me updated and did everything they could for us to make the day perfect.

We love the Brook! The menu has lots of options and the food is always delicious. Our favorite is the live music on the patio in the summer but we also love sitting by the cozy fire in winter. Favorite food is definitely the fish fry and ribs. The waitstaff is very friendly and seem to remember us when we come in. Always a nice hometown feel!

We ate here for Easter. And was very dissatisfied.. our reservation was at 4pm when making the reservation they said all food would be replenished until 5:30. When we got there food was out it was a mess I feel the buffet should have looked as good for those at 4 that it did at 11am.. we should have went earlier. They even ran out of the choice for desert. They only had pecan pie left and two of us can't have nuts.. i could not believe what a mess it was .. the salad bar area was dirty and messy and hardly anything left. I don't feel we should have paid full price for what we had. We have been here several times. But won't be back after that... :(

Thanksgiving Day Buffet. This was our first holiday buffet here. We had a reservation and got seated with no wait. We sat there over 5 minutes before the waitress acknowledged our table. She walked past and attended to the tables next to ours. No "Hello. Be right with you." The buffet was small. Mostly meats and dairy laden vegetables. The salad section was pathetic. Only 3 salad dressings, not labeled. The lettuce mix looked bad...browning leaves and cheap iceburg lettuce that tastes like dirt. The peas and beets also tasted like dirt. The raspberry vinaigrette was gross. I did not eat my salad. Gross. Only the cherry tomatoes tasted OK. I had two small plates of fruit. THAT IS IT. For my entire Thanksgiving dinner. I'm still hungry! We called to make the reservation and told them one person was vegan. We got my meal at half price for that reason. So for $12 I got two plates of fruit. What a waste! Regular price is $24 per adult, $8.99 for the 8 year old and free for the 3 yr old. Then, the women's bathroom was freezing! I felt like it was an outhouse. The door is torn up! Looks like it has been kicked at for years, then mop water made it worse. See pictures. There was an extra giant roll of toilet paper sitting on the completely full dispenser. It started to fall at me when I was getting toilet paper from the inside of the dispenser. I got annoyed and put it on the toilet tank. It did NOT need to be in there! They really think a customer will change the giant roll for them? Lazy and unprofessional. I am NEVER going back. I do not golf, but my husband does. Oh, and the bar is tiny. Small liquor selection. Go elsewhere to drink.

We were there on a Friday evening to have dinner and listen to the band. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel like an imposition. After waiting we, finally, got taken to a table outside where the band was playing. We waited for more than 10min, not 1 single server stopped by our table. Not even to say, "I'll be with you as soon as I can." We have our own rule that states, "If no one comes to our table in 5min, we leave." We waited 10 because we wanted to hear the band. We didn't get to hear the band that night.

There is always one or two people on the patio smoking.If you ask them to move ,they become aggressive. I have notified the manager and the owner too many times to count (this has been going for years) they have done nothing!........This is against the LAW(smoke free air law P.A. 188) ..they still do nothing!. I enjoy sitting on the patio and will NOT be bullied by a bunch of over aged frat boys who think they are above the law. They are NOT! and neither is the cigar chomping owner.

The food was O.K. they had a special on Ribs $12.99 full slap with FF. but if you wanted a salad you had to add $3.49. No special there and when you first walk in the restaurant you can smell a musty smell. We took our mom there for her birthday dinner. Not a good experience. We will not go back. Sorry

Brookshire catered our rehearsal dinner/party last week. Everything went perfect start to finish. Mary Ann helped with choosing the menu—we did appetizers and they were delicious! Food was hot and came on time. They provided tables, chairs and paper products which they came to take down exactly as they promised. Jim was super helpful and attentive. Our guests were impressed!

I had the best day ever, in large part thanks to Brookshire Inn and Golf Club! From start to finish, they were detail oriented and thorough. I have never planned any event as large as my wedding - Mary Ann, Melissa, and Jim made sure the day went absolutely perfect. Mary Ann and Melissa helped plan the details and discussed a lot of things I had not even though to have considered. On my wedding day, Jim was there and he was nothing short of amazing. Things came up and I had questions and Jim was there with solutions, fixes, and reassurance that it would be a great day. My guests raved about the food - teriyaki chicken and stuffed shells with broccoli and roasted redskin potatoes. Honestly, I cannot think of anything I would change about the venue - they were all phenomenal to work with!

St patty's day was not good!!! We were not told the salad did not come with the buffet and the potatoes tasted like canned ones and the dinner rolls were like hockey pucks and our waitress kept asking if we were ready to leave yet!!!!before our party was finished and my husband found hair in his corned beef!!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about our history and experiences at Brookshire Inn! We have been coming here together (& separately) for almost 2 decades. Recently my newly husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Brookshire Inn on Sunday May 27 and it was incredibly HOT outside! I cannot rave enough about how well we were taken care of! There was a server that made sure me and my girls were taken care of while getting ready upstairs, as well as taking care of all of us outside during our pictures and bringing us drinks on a very, very hot Sunday afternoon. The inside reception area stayed nice and cool for our guests, which we were all grateful for! Mary Ann and Melissa were so incredibly helpful and informative and fast to respond to us during the entire planning process. The dinner buffet was absolutely delicious and our guess were insanely happy (we had the pot roast, salmon, and stuffed shells). The wait staff and bar staff were all very nice, helpful and really accommodating. Their manager Jim was there at every turn to make sure we had everything we needed and that things were going great! All of the staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The tables were cleared off quickly, and I never had to ask for something to be taken care of. They are extremely professional and experienced! I was so incredibly happy with the entire experience that I would not even hesitate to do it all over again the exact same way! I cannot thank you all enough for helping make our day as perfect as it could have been!! I would recommend Brookshire Inn for any and every occasion. They made sure that everything was taken care of so that we could mingle with our guests instead of micromanage and that helped make our day absolutely perfect! And they have late hours, so we didn't feel rushed to get out at all! We've been coming here for years and I see us coming here for many, many more! I will definitely be reserving the location for our anniversary parties as well! Thank you guys so very much! I would give them a million stars if I could! I wish I could post pictures of their beautiful grounds for picture taking!

We love the cozy family vibe here, and Melissa and Jacob are always helpful and fun to talk to. The she-crab bisque is a favorite, along with all the steak options. Cheesy bread is to die for.

This is a very nice place and good place and to take a date or someone you want to impress. Nice dinning room and wonderfull outdoor seating in the summer with a view of the golf course. One of the best Friday night fish fry places in the area. The food is good but not outstanding. It is wheel chair accessible in the rear, but not the best. It is Ok if you have a power chair but you will need strong arms or a strong pusher if you don't, as it a very long ramp and the door is difficult.

Course is nice, greens are true and huge but it took 3+ hrs to play 11 holes and decided to just leave. No ranger to keep pace of play. Not worth the drive there for that kind of golf.

Watch out for the flies, they're all over the place. Waited very long time for dessert (pie) to come out and when it did, it was frozen -- hard as a rock and literally inedible. Filthy carpet. Nothing is labeled clearly and half the tables don't have dessert menus/wine lists. Unsturdy tables. Service was really, really slow from beginning to end. Lots of other issues. AVOID!

What an absolutely amazing establishment. Whether its a party of 2 or 25+ plus this is the place for you. Our servers salina and kendal did such an amazing job of taking care of us all night.the owner Dave even came to out table to see how the meal was. There wasn't a single thing we had to ask for all night, which was extremely pleasant. The draft list was local and had great selection. There is no doubt that we will be back again soon and often! Highly recommend!

Words alone can not express what my family experienced tonight while trying to celebrate our parents 65th anniversary dinner. The short of the fiasco involved my brother not being served his dinner because it was dropped on the floor but would be out shortly. Towards the end of our dinner he still had not been served so the Mgr was brought over and he explained that he was aware of the situation and was informed the meal was declined once the our brother was informed his dinner was dropped. From that point on a table of two drunken golfers chimed in that we needed to get over that fact the our service wasn't perfect (???) and then the bartender started shouting out that our adult party needed to just leave because we were not welcome there (???) Wow. My sister and I are former successful business owners of Williamston and I am still in shock of the evenings events. I do not understand what has happened to Brookshire Inn nor do I care to contribute anything more to this establishment. I suppose if you are on a golf league you may expect reasonable service but as a restaurant guest you are left defenseless to the food and service. However, you can expect to endure a memory that you scheduled with the happiest intentions and left you apologizing for the absolute worst experience. But hey... our waitress got a lot of laughs and pinches from that reputable table of two drunken golfers so I mean, at least there's that.....

Went to Mother’s Day Brunch with my Family. The food had no lids on it and the waffles were hard as a rock. Some of the food must have been there for hours, it was gross. I should have gone to McDonalds and saved $50, it would have been better. Somehow we survived and didn’t get sick. I would never go back.

My husband and boys met his parents there for our Christmas get together. First time there and I enjoyed it. The food was delicious. Especially the Baja fish tacos. Simply amazing is what they are. Michelle was our server and a very excellent one at that. Attentive but not hovering, like a lot of servers are prone to do. Will definitely be telling our friends about it, and coming back.

Our family has been playing golf and eating at the Brookshire for probably 30 years! The staff always make you feel like family, the food is delicious, and it's a fun, relaxing atmosphere. We experienced holding an event in their banquet hall for thr 1st time and it was just as wonderful! The staff was extremely accommodating to our needs and asks, the room was set perfectly to the occasion, and the recommendations on DJ's and cakes was very appreciated!

Worst place to ever go for a nice dinner! The ambiance sucked, the menu sucked, the waitress sucked! Do not go here if you're trying to have a nice quiet romantic dinner. Took almost a half an hour to get a fresh cup of coffee and had to ask for that! I ordered a dinner and did not even get what came with the dinner thanks to the shity waitress.

Ordered take out, potato skins & fish tacos. Both were horrendous. Skins were dried out & miniscule, tacos were really disappointing. And it wasn't til i got back to my hotel room i found they didn't give me any utensils or napkins to top it off. Shouldn't that be an automatic when ordering to go? I thought so too. Won't be going back here anytime soon. But was really disappointed with the substandard food for money i paid. Way overpriced!

We absolutely love the Brookshire, we’re here two to three times a week. We love the service and food along with the staff. Most of the staff has worked here forever and they all treat us like family. Love the patio and Tiki bar, so relaxing hanging out listening to live music in the summer and being with friends. We have eaten here regularly for the last few years. The Friday all-you-can-eat fish is very good. The Saturday bbq ribs are also very good. There is often prime rib on the weekends especially. The dining area is casual. The main dining area abuts the bar area. The sound level is normally medium to low. On Friday night the bar area can be quite loud. Conversation is difficult. The service is good; very prompt, pleasant, and willing to help you. Some carry-out customers have said the pizza is also very good.

Hosted a party of 25 people here 2 January's in a row now. Both times excellent. Great little side room with glass all around so it separates your group from rest of restaurant but without feeling like you are isolated. Great set up as wait staff is able to peek in and keep eye on every table without having to constantly walk through your group just to check. Staff was great both years. Been on their patio and in banquet room for other occasions others hosted as well. Always great.

Helped a friend celebrate her 98th birthday here a few days ago. I had the nachos, only a half order, and it was still enough for 2 people. They could have used a little more seasoning, but all in all they were good. Our waitress was excellent. Fast and efficient in spite of a large crowd to deal with.
