Best golfing in Northern Michigan is at Boyne. Played the Moore course at Boyne Highlands. Course is in excellent shape.

The golf is world class! The courses are immaculately maintained and each one has a personality of their own. They are a must play when traveling around "the top of the mitten" of Northern Michigan. We stayed at Boyne Highlands on one of their stay and play packages over the 4th of July. The room was okay, nothing fancy just a place to crash from one day to the next. We were put in the "Bartlett House", I would say that the structure is one of the older ones on the property. The room was clean, just dated. My only gripe was the breakfast that we had. It was just okay... Nothing great nothing spectacular. I didn't really feel like I was getting a lot of bang for my bucks. I'm sure that since dining room was sweltering even at 8am it dampers my rating of the experience. The server told us that the AC being able to keep up has been an on going problem. Now granted, the day we arrived the heat index was at or just above 100 degrees. Overall the trip was a good one.... The golf was fantastic and that was the reason for the trip.

This is a fantastic golf experience. This is our 10th year coming UP here and can't wait to book next year's trip. The golf is great with courses and tees of all skill levels for a very affordable rate. Highly recommend!!!
