Great set of courses. Played the port course walking. A little hilly for walking in the summer. Next time a cart.

Rich Capen

Great course.

Suzanne Butler

The Captains Golf Course is in fact home to two 18-hole championship layouts, named in nautical parlance as the Port and Starboard courses. The Port layout (on your left when facing the front of the ship!), is a well-rated and always popular golf course.

Lynne Carino

great course , had a terrific time. staff was courteous and knowledgeable. look forward to returning next summer

Matt Porter

Nice course I played while visiting from out of town.

Rob Elliott

Very nice course. Good mix of long and short holes. Fairly generous fairways and not too penalizing if you hit it into the trees. Some of the greens have some large undulations which can make it difficult putting.

Mike Tango

Phenomenal golf course. Played after 7 inches of rain fell over the weekend and the place was immaculate. The facilities from the pro shop to the driving range are in perfect shape. Will be coming back to play another round!

Dennis OConnor

Awesome Course(s)!! Very interesting, keeps you on your toes. Conditions of Tees to Greens are always impeccable, better than some private courses! The staff are friendly, helpful....just great!! The19th hole is nice too, patio overlooking course.

Paul Ragaglia

Always have a great time playing here. They have 2 full courses and always seem to have tee times for the earlier crowd.

Jim Spear

This is my new "home course". Port little easier than starboard if u want a 20+ handicappers opinion.

If anyone's hankering for a private golf club experience - minus the cost and snobbishness, The Captains is your place. Approaching the site, I was struck by its state park atmosphere - with flourishing bushes and trees abounding (not to mention a broad practice green). The place exudes a casual classiness and tidiness; and the staff genuinely cares about its guests. The eatery features simple comfort foods and good service, the pro shop is adequate and the links themselves are impressive and proudly maintained. Golf may still be the toughest game. But The Captains provides all the touches required to make it most enjoyable.

Frederick Hammond

Stayed on the Cape for a week and cant believe I drove past this place to play golf at other courses. Greens are awesome....Staff if very Friendly....when I come back to the Cape again (June) I will be playing here.

Brian Lewin

We played the Port Course at Captain's on a cool and drizzly summer afternoon. Despite the weather, the course was overcrowded and slow. Smaller courses such as the Chatham Seaside Links will group golfers together based on skill and ability resulting in a (sometimes) faster round. The grounds are picturesque with well manicured fairways and greens. The championship greens were a little slow due to the rain but the course was still quite playable.

Sandy Blanchard

Nice course

Stephen Bickerton

Great course in great shape. The help couldn't have been nicer.

Jeff Greco

Putting green is horrible, but course is good.

Just beautiful courses in very good shape. Played Starboard this time and liked it better than Port.

Unbelievable lack of etiquette by the marshal staff here ... finished under 4:30 hours on a muni track, waiting multpile times on the course’s greens crew to get out of the way (at times more than 7 minutes), being paired up with a single walker, only to be told on 3 separate occasions to “pick up the pace” by the marshals ... nobody waited on our pace of play once, and yet the staff felt compelled to tell us we were behind due to open holes in front of us ... I’ve played some of the finest courses in the country and never heard this argument before ... absolutely amateur course staff at Captains ... will never be playing here again

Jim Flynn

Great course, good condition and moved right along. Great staff!

James Seegers

I played on Tuesday, August 18, and the pace of play was horrible. We stopped after 16 because we were already at the 5.5 hour mark. If we played the final two holes, it could have been a six hour round. Very nice course. It would have been more enjoyable if you didn't have to wait on EVERY shot!!!

Mark Bosse

Great course!!!

We are members, and the course is in wonderful shape. As a lady, I feel the par 5 tee boxes need to be moved up.

Beautiful course is Port course no.12. Starboard course was wide but difficult, attractive golf course.

Karl Robstad

Favorite course on cape. Golfing here for 20 years. Starvord and port are both great. Do them both in a week

Christian Pavlakis

Beautiful 36 holes of golf that looks easy but becomes a challenge as you approach every green. Well taken care of and staff is enthusiastic about helping you hit the links.

Played the Port course which is in great shape. Teed off at 6:18 and finished a little before ten. We have played here at least once every year for about the last 10 and have never been disappointed. Will be back next year as well as this is a track we especially enjoy.

Matthew Noe

Babak Cohanim

can always seem to get on on one of the courses

Tony Tothe

Excellent course well worth a round. In excellent condition for this time of the year.

Fricken AWESOME

lawrence boccuzzio

Great course, if fact one of the nicest I've ever played. Very well maintained, I also love the layout. Highly recommend this course on the Cape

David Gilroy

Played here yesterday. What a bargain, twilight rate of $30 plus cart is the best value course I've ever played in the USA in terms of the cost v quality. I would have been happy if it has cost $100. Fabulous condition this early in the season, bone dry fairways, quick greens. I would definitely return to play this course.

A good solid test of golf. Possibly over reliant on trees for protection. Greens surprisingly slow. Course in excellent condition. Staff very friendly.

We played on a Friday morning at the end of september....91 dollars to play.....If you want to hit some balls...you have to put the club's back in the car....drive out of the parking lot and to another area .....and for 6 dollars you get......wait for it....15 balls.....The greens had recently been aerated....ball bounced all over the place......they were arresting the fairways WHILE WE WERE PLAYING!!!! 3 hour front nine!!! 5 1/2 hours overall.....BRUTAL!!!! Where were the rangers to keep people moving? For 91 bucks....ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT!!!!

nice course but the grass wasn't in good condition, and the greens were spiked. Maybe overrated for the prize...

The Captain's Course is a beautiful municipal gold course in Brewster on Cape Cod. It is a large course with a Starboard and a Port side of 18 holes each. The course is lovely but tight and many are long holes. Fairways are sometimes very close to one another. There is a clubhouse with a small bar and a grill where you can make a pitstop after the 9th hole. Also in the clubhouse is a golf shop where they sell very nice golf clothing, balls and other supplies. A fine way to spend a sunny day on the Cape! It can be gutsy though.

John Eastman

Two eighteen hole courses that are professionally run and beautifully maintained.

Jamie McCready

Fun course really well maintained.

Michael Bolduc

Kevin Weber

Two beautiful courses, good for all skill levels
