this is the best place to golf iv ever been to. idk what i loved more the beautiful scenery or the fact that i got to enoy 18 holes on awsome greens without spending a arm and a leg. i think everyone should take a day to go and golf it wud be a awsome family outing for you and the whole family:)

Very beautiful countryside golf course! We walked the course and it was only $20.00 for 18 holes. Great value for the money. We saw a group of wild Turkeys running through the woods and all sorts of wild life. When you get to the 10th hole, Mt. Monadnock is centered on the horizon! Picture perfect. We spoke to one of the owners who said the greens had a hard winter with the 100" of snow that stacked up. I did not have any issues with putting at all, the greens were in pretty good shape. In total, my husband and I had a great time and would definitely play here again next time we are visiting relatives.

I don't usually complain about stuff, but I will honestly never play Templewood again. I am an avid golfer, and have played a hundred courses in my life, and have never felt so ripped off. It cost me almost as much to play nine holes and rent a cart with my two young boys as it would to play 18 with food at much nicer courses. I took my 10 and 7 year old boys, and instead of enjoying the day seeing my kids playing golf for the first time, I spent the time in disbelief that I was just charged almost $80.

This is a terrific course. As close to mountain golf as possible in Central Massachusetts. Don't let the negative reviews sway you. The conditions improve yearly. It's not private course but its good public course condition. Family run by nice people. incredible views. The front 9 has one strange uphill hole, but overall its a good course. I've played well over 100 courses and know what I'm talking about.

9-16-19 Perfect in every way! They offered a weekday special on price. Price was perfect! Views of breathtaking Mount Monadnock, perfect! Amazing! The carts were spotless, cart paths were great. The greens were.........well, PERFECT! I did see a little crab grass in a couple spots. Certainly didn't spoil a thing for me. [* Two on course toilets! Didn't check out the first one. The second one was spotless! Ladies rejoice! I mean spotless! *] The Tee Boxes were easy to find with great signage along the cart paths. Tee Boxes have all the info you need. Clubhouse was.........Perfect! Clean, with everything you could want. You can tell this place has been lovingly maintained over the years. I will return often. AND......I played the best game of my life!

Conditions on this course vary from year to year. 2017 has benn very good for growing grass. The course is a bit hilly but still walkable. There are a few "unfortunate" holes (6 and 8 for example) that detract from the flow of the round. Very reasonable green fees and very nice people.

Do not play!!!! Way overpriced. Worst conditions I've ever seen. The owners are money grubbing thieves

This was the most poorly maintained course I have ever played. The greens, tees and fairways were very long and 50% crab grass. Every tee had large patches of grass 3"-4" long. The mower was just laying it over. There was only one hole where the fairway was noticeable. Even if it were half the price, it's not worth it.

Played here for the first time this week. Had a great round & the greens were in excellent condition. Specially seeing how we haven't seen much rain in this area at all! The man mowing fairways pulled over to let us play thru & was very pleasant. At another hole a women was working on a bunker & moved over as soon as she seen us to let us play thru as well. Pro shop staff was professional & even said to call from the 8th if we wanted to pick up burgers dogs or drinks at the turn! Prices were reasonable on top of it all! We will most definitely be back!
