Very nice and not too expensive. They don't seem to mind if you bring your own cooler of beverages.

We had a large event including pre-game activities, golf for over 100 people, beverages, lunch-on-the-course, with dinner and awards after. Even with a major rain-storm two hours before tee-time, everyone enjoyed the day and has recommended we return again next year.

Horrible golf experience. In order: 1. Way, way overpriced for what you get. $60 to walk/$80 to ride. 2. Half the course was flooded. Yes, there has been a ton of rain lately, but I played another course the day before that actually had drainage. 3. Very rude pro. We were paired with an elderly man who took FOREVER and the pro came out and read us the riot act and didn't talk to him (he was walking, we were riding and 28 years old). He was generally arrogant and unfriendly. 4. Went to use a porta-potty, and it was literally full of toilet paper and poop right up to the level of the seat!!!! I've seen better toilets at a frat house. 5. Overall the course was in terrible shape except for the greens. Cart paths were pot holed, fairways were swamps, tee boxes were makeshift. For $80, stay away!! I sum, I am a pretty relaxed golfer and have dealt with "meh" courses, but this one was the absolute pits. Never again will I come here. Doug

Not much. The twosome we played with was nice. Course is much too expensive for the condition. Fairways poorly maintained. Definitely not going back

Andrew Hackett

80 bucks to have the pace of play be 5 hours and 30 minutes seems a BIT steep to me. Please work on pace of play...it's just not enjoyable that slow

It has a decent lay out and in pretty good shape. A bit slow, they should use a range as I saw none out there. I would play it again.

I work in Framingham and of all the course options we always find ourselves coming back to Sandy Burr. Great twilight prices and the family that runs it is very friendly. Support your local businesses! For the price this course really has some good diversity with hills water and forests as part of most holes.

Great golf course. Not only is it a great 18 holes but the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Additionally, if you want to have a group event there they will try and accommodate everything you need. The old school club house is also great with great pub food and beer. Another great addition to this course is the huge deck that can be enjoyed during the summer.

Good location for sorority/fraternity events

The course itself was in okay shape, tee boxes and fairways needed to be mowed. Greens rolled nice. The thing that really ruined the round for me was the “ranger” who was telling us to keep the pace of play on a round that ended well before 4 hours while playing at our normal pace. He proceeded to tell us that we needed to keep this pace because we were holding the course up, yet the group behind us didn’t wait to hit the ball once. If you want people to play at this course I suggest you hire a new ranger who can do his job, or just somebody who doesn’t harass customers. Will never return to this dog track again.

Coarse is beautiful right now and with the leaves changing it's visually stunning!

I was a little disappointed, the greens were aerated and not in good shape. It was very odd to have the mens and women's tee boxes so far apart. Some women's tee didn't have a tee boxes and were on the fairway. Not worth the $99 groupon. The pro shop guy was nice and polite. Probably won't go back..

Sandy Burr is a really nice course. Challenging, but fun layout. The grounds are well manicured and the staff is friendly. There doesn't seem to be too much congestion most of the time, so you can play without feeling pressure from behind you. The marshalls run a tight ship, but are generally good natured. The beer selection is really great and the food is better than most of the courses I've visited.

Playing this “course” was pitiful. The tee boxes looked like they haven’t been mowed in weeks. The fairways were not so fair. Multiple holes with pathetic conditions. I will say, the greens were in good condition, and were pretty challenging. However, the worst part of the entire experience was the staff; specifically the ranger. We played our round in 3 hours 55 minutes, yet we were being verbally assaulted and threatened on multiple occasions to “pick up the pace.” There was a two some in front of us (we were a foursome) and they were approximately 2 holes ahead. This prompted the incompetent ranger to assume that we were playing slow. Not to mention, the group behind us hadn’t been waiting for us once. Seems as though they hire people without checking to see if they can count. Course has potential, but I won’t be returning any time soon (ever).

We played here with a Groupon so it was very affordable. Had a nice round with a foursome that lasted a little over 4 hours. We found the course to be interesting, and in good shape, especially the greens which were quite fast. Don't believe all the negative reviews!
